Manila - office supplies, manila

I've used a variety of hanging folders and regular tab folders over the years. When I read David Allen's Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity book, he recommended 1/3 cut manila folders (rather than 1/5 cut or hanging). Previously, I was using hanging folders in my file cabinets. Now that I've got 300+ folders in my cabinet, I agree with Mr. Allen's reasoning. The larger label makes it easier to put a good, descriptive label on the folder. I use a Brother P-Touch labeller with 3/4" inch tape to make easy-to-read 2-line labels. The folders have sufficient thickness to feel like quality folders, unlike some of the no-name cheapies out there. Acidophilus - acidophilus, irritable bowel syndrome

The cost for a month's supply from this site is an excellent deal and way less than what my local pharmacy charges for a comparable product. I was plagued from irritable bowel syndrome with severe morning diarrhea for more than 14 years. This product totally changed that. I can now eat sourkraut, string beans, kidney beans, watermelloon and all the other foods that used to cause me problems, and my bowel movements are now completely normal.

I had given up on products like this for a few years until I found Advanced Probiotic Balance. I have been using this over a year and was excited to find it on Amazon at a cheaper price. I had chronic gas and irratable bowel syndrome until I started using this consistantly. I used to have to go to the bathroom after almost every meal but life is much better now. I still have gas but it seems like a much more normal amount and not excessive. I can go to the bathroom on a normal schedule most of the time now. I usually dont get the bloating and cramps like I used to on an almost daily basis. The price is very competitive also.

My wife uses this regularly and got me started about a month ago. I noticed that my digestion track is feeling much less irritated, less gass, etc. I have had problems with irratable bowel syndrome since I was a kid but couldnt really afford perscription medicines and was nervous about the side effects that my doctor told me about in the perscription medicines. I like this product so far but found that I need to use it regulary to get good results. My IBS is getting less and less frequent so I am having far less of those embarrassing trips to the bathroom when visiting friends. I think it is worth the money but I wont try to speak for others.

I am a really big ran of this productc. My husband just ordered a 2 full bottles to continue my improvements. I really love that I am not suffereing from bloating anymore, expecailly around the holidays. I can now eat regular foods after being on a restricted diet for weeks and I feel like I got my life back. I love it and recommend it to people that have digestive problems. My doctor uses this product but he was not allowed to share his personal supply with me. I tried it with a lot of skepticism but was pleasantly suprised. I didnt know that they had a product like this. Advanced Probiotic Balance started working during the first day that I started using it. During the next few days, my most uncomfortable symptoms - pain, urgency, bloating were significantly lessoned, to my suprise. I'm now into the third month of using it and I'm feeling back to normal.

I didnt think that you could buy a product that helped with bloating and gass but this is it. My doctor said that he used it himself but that he couldnt officially recommend it. I have known him a long time. It took me a long time to mention that I was concerened about gass issues because it was embarassig but he noticed durint my physical that my intestones felt firmer than they should be, from built up gass. I work in an office so that was especailly uncomfortable. He said that it was normal to have gas but that this product might reduce it significantly. It did! I am really happy about that. I dont have intestinal discomfort or excessive gass any more. I highly recommned this product.

The capsules are easy to swallow. I don't have to wonder whether it is worth taking because I have already seen nice results. . With other brands I have not had as good of results as these. The symptoms of a problemed digestive system are well know by people that have them. I love Amazon for making this available. The probiotics, originally suggested by a GI doctor to me, have significantly reduced my problems from malabsorption and IBS. Since this is a chronic condition in my case, I'm taking these on an ongoing basis.

I was starting to develope sysmptoms of irritable bowel syndrome so my doctor had recommeded that I try a Probiotic product. I almost done with the bottle and I was pleasantly suprised that my symtoms of irritation of my digestive track have gone away. I no longer have that bloating feeling nor to I have to go to the bathroom 3 times per day. I am very happy with this product and will be buying more. It supplies a healthy bacteria to the digestive system

I was on my 3rd brand until I found this product, recommended by a friend. If you try it, you will probably see the diffrence like I did. I gave a bottle to my sister who has had long term trouble with Irritable Bowels and she was really happy with the results also. I find that if I use it regulary then my problems stay away. I will keep buying more.

I read the reviews on this product.. and people, it works. I did some research on colon cleansing and all that, and there are some risks to that, so I opted for this one.

Effective, but not harsh. It put me back on the right track -- and continuing on with the Atkins diet.. no issues, no problems, and feeling good.

Thanks to all the others who provided such informative feedback. - Health - Bloating - Irritable Bowel Syndrome - Acidophilus'

Cell Signal Booster - cell phone signal booster, cell

I have been suffering through satellite internet for years and decided I would try to boost my cell signal into my home. I tried a few other options, until I decided to pony up the dough and get this one. Let me tell you, this was the BEST purchase I have ever made, and I am completely able to get signal to discontinue my $200 a month satellite service to the $48 data card plan with my cell phone company. The speed is much better and now I can take my data card anywhere I get cell signal. This cell booster is of exceptional quality and is very easy to install. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs to boost their cell signal. Wilson Electronics 841262 Dual Band Pro (800/1900 MHz) 62dB Cell Phone Signal Booster for Home or Office with Omni-Directional and Panel Antennas

Boss said get something to make the cell phones work better in the offices. Checked out lots of info and reviews were good on this product. I ordered it, worked better than expected.

Boss said to get another for one for the back building.

We live in a fairly large house (5,000 sq ft) with thick wooden walls, some steel beam construction in the house. Our family is on ATT with iphones, and found throughout the house, we typically had between 1-2 bars if we were lucky. About 1/7 calls would end up in a dropped call inside the house. Our kitchen and livingroom, as well as my office were 1 bar / dead zones. Fortunately for us, outside the house we would get 4-5 bars, or full service with the iphone. We were fed up having the exit the house sometimes to use our cell phones. We finally decided to try a signal booster, and used Amazon, to make sure it would work, and we know their rock solid return policy. Install was pretty easy, just 10 screws for all the units combined. We positioned our antenna on the roof where we would get 4-5 bars. We put our repeater in the basement pointing up from the center of the house, and the WHOLE HOUSE is covered by at least 4 bars, It will never even go into the 3 bar area. It is recommended in the directions to mount the repeater high, like on the 2nd floor and point it down, but it was too hard for us to run the wires. I bet if we installed it the way it was recommended we would get 5 bars in the whole house, but we only get 5 bars within 100 feet of the repeater box. Those dead zones in the kitchen, living room and office where making a phone call was something you just couldn't do, and now fully covered with 5 bars of 3G. Our 3G download speeds are hitting 7 megabit on speed tests now, thats as fast as our wifi can make the iphones go!

On a side note.

One of our family members uses T-mobile, and will at best get only 1 bar outside the house. The repeater will not make more bars than the service can provide, therefore, if you are getting 1-2 bars outside your house, I would not recommend even trying a $500 repeater, get a new service provider. She can only get 1-2 bars in the house, so it can't magically make bars, but it can help push the service through the walls without a problem.

Now if it were 1-2 bars on ATT on the cell phone outside the house, the antenna may be able to capture more bars, and provide more service inside the house. Maybe it is just because T-mobile service is so bad, that any antenna wouldn't help the cause.

Overall I am very pleased with this signal booster, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a boost inside their house. It will cover your whole house, and dropped calls or low signal will be a thing of the past. Thanks Wilson for making such a great professional product. I am thrilled that I don't have to go outside to make/receive calls anymore!

We live in log home in the woods and have a metal roof. Needless to say we had an issue with signal strength in the house. We went from two bars outside and one bar in the house to 4 bars(the max) in signal in the house. Signal on the router went from -93db to -70db. Speed test confirmed the signal indication gain. Rates went to a blazing 1.5Mbs download to .5Mbs Upload for Verizon Wirelss. When you were dealing with dial up speeds before, this was to good to believe. It is about the best it can do. I had my doubts on spending so much money and this. But the reviews and Amazons return policy made me take a chance. Short time out of the box and we had more signal then we ever thought possible. With 8 watts of power consumption I can leave it on 24/7. Be sure to follow the manual and turn cell phones off and data cards off while installing. Install the power supply last. So far worth every penny I paid and Amazon beat others prices by $140. Thanks to everyones reviews on this product ... they made me take that leap of faith!

WOW!! Have been contemplating this for a long time but hard to verify if this thing would really work. But have been so disgusted with cell service in my house that I finally bit the bullet and ordered one.

I live in the woods of central Florida, tall trees all around my house, and have a cell tower 3 miles both east and west, and if I stand outside, or climb a ladder I get a signal, 3 bars at the back of my driveway. Zero to one bar in the house. Cell phone never rings in the house, only missed calls. I am on call (MD) at times and it is a nuissance to ask to be called on both land and cell phone, cuz folks just don't remember.

Well, this booster arived yesterday, and spent the afternoon installing it. Climbed up in the rafters of my attic to feed wire for outside antena through soffit, when my wife called, and I had 3 bars! So I installed outside antennae in attic ( with extra wire in case I need to still put it outside). Finally got the rest hocked up and turned on last night, and Walla! Now have 2-3 bars inside, occasionally 4! Phone works great so far, and my V cell modem now is incredible! Was about to buy a new computer but this old one works great now.

Was reluctant to spend $500. bucks on this thing but so far it is well worth it!!!!

PS: Wilson Tech guy got me through finding special code to dial, to find OSL(outside signal level) for my phone. Inside was -120 and above, now is -81. The lower the better. Max signal is -50. Calls dropped above -100. So I have a dramatic, and measurable improvement!! - Cell - Signal Booster - Booster - Cell Phone Signal Booster'

All In One Printer - ink cartridge, all-in-one

I bought a new HP printer to replace one that I had for over 4 years. The quality of the printer is exceptional for the price. I was curious, though, why the ink cartridges for this new printer were about half the cost of the ones for the old model, so it seemed like a really good deal. Unfortunately, the fact of the matter is that the new ink cartridges for this model last about half as long as the others. I agree with a lot of the recent press about the need for ink manufacturers to label their products with the quantity of ink rather than the number of pages they can print. It is impossible to compare prices and know for sure how much you are getting for your dollar. Nevertheless, I still recommend this printer. HP is a great company. HP 60 Ink Cartridge, Combo Pack (CD947FN#140) in Retail Packaging

There is honestly no question that when it does come down to the best in quality printer, HP has really delivered the highest quality in ink cartridges, for their printers. That is proof with the number 60 cartridges. These are actually great and simple to install in my new deskjet printer. They deliver more ink that keeps them going well with each and every time I have to print up a project on paper. Whether it is writing up a resume, or printing coupons you need off the internet for all your shopping needs, they absolutely do the trick well. Anyone who owns a HP Printer knows what they get well in the quality of ink, and that is proof with the #60 cartridges. I absolutely recommend the 2 pack of black and color cartridges as a must have for anyone who has a heavy duty printer.

I'd been saving the dual package in my wish list while I was checking around for the best price.

Well today I found it at wal-mart for $30.97 and in the package you get 2 black and 2 tri color packs. Can't beat the deal. Amazon wants that much for just one black and 1 tri color. It pays to research and shop around. So glad I didn't order it here, but I still find great values on other merchandise here. I love the printer, but the ink sure doesn't last very long. Cheap printer that I ordered from amazon (and I like the printer), but expensive when you print as much as I do. Just wanted to pass the info for those that might need the #60 ink.

I was sucked in by a bargain price for an HP printer C4750. While it works very well, it uses ink like water. The cartridges are miniature in black and in color. HP has sucked in their customers and they are motivated by greed. I have spent more on ink than I have paid for the new printer. Buyer beware! I am ready to throw it out.

Ordered #60 Combo Ink Cartriges......recieved one empty black cartrige in a torn package .....contacted supplier and they were very curtious....said they would correct the problem.......next I recieved a black cartrige only.....contacted them again....they said they did not have any tri-color cartriges and would refund part of my money....they did.......so after all the time I wasted waiting for ink, I still had to go to Best Buy ...I should have went there in the first place....it would have been cheaper.

Purchased the combo pair and did not use the color for 6 months. Never opened in that time frame, with original packaging. Needed a new cartridge and installed this and was immediately defective. Cant believe ink dried up when not exposed to elements at all. Made in Ireland for HP. Waste of time and money! - All-in-one - Ink Cartridge - Hp Printer Ink - All In One Printer'

Copper Bottom Teakettle - teakettle, cookware

Great kettle, fast heating. Without a fill-hole on the top, steam doesn't escape when pouring - a great feature. Easy to use pouring spout. The whistle fell off after 22 years of use and then it was a month after that the plastic melted because the whistle wasn't working and I wasn't paying attention. Easy to keep clean - wipe it off when wiping down the stove after cooking.

Oh! And the large size is great if you need to pour 3 qts of hot water down a sluggish drain!

My mother had this tea kettle for a couple of decades when I was growing up. I now have one that is 15 years old and it is working just as well as when I bought it. I use it two or three times a day, every week, every month, every year!

Like all workhorses, it gets pretty dirty but the stainless steel shines up very well.

I have also used its larger cousin and don't like it as well (if I remember correctly) because you can't turn-off the whistle.

Prior to buying this one, I owned three or four other brands and they all had problems -- like the handle getting too hot; a detachable whistle that got lost; it needs a trivet, steam comes out and burns your hand when pouring, etc. After an string of bad tea kettles, I remembered how well my mother's worked and I bought this model again. It might be the last one I ever buy!

It has _one_ flaw: you can accidentally overfill it so that it spits water when boiling.

This is easy to do, since you can't see how full it is when filling. An easy solution is to fill it full and pour about a cup out. Or just don't fill it very full.

Since this one flaw is easy to compensate for, I'm still giving it five stars.

Revere Copper Bottom Teakettle

I've owned this model kettle nearly 20 years. Looks like it's been through WWIII but does what it does well without being pretty. Heats water fast. Small size great for two 10oz mugs of tea. Other reviewers talk about water spitting out and the hot handle. Yes, it does both of these but if you don't overfill it it won't spit water (suggestion: get a bigger kettle if you want to boil more than 25oz). Yes the handle gets hot but only when the kettle is used to boil on high heat. Part of the issue with the hot handle is that the bottom is so small that when I put my gas burner on high the flame spreads out beyond the bottom of the kettle . I usually put my gas burner on half to two-thirds heat and then the handle doesn't get hot. Frankly, the copper bottom is so efficient you can boil nearly as fast on lower heat anyway. One thing I don't know but would like to hear from someone who recently purchased: is this still made in the USA? Mine from the 1980's was. If not, I wonder about the quality of today's model.

We have just entered our nineties. We are living in and sharing the kitchen in our daughter-in-law's home. They are heavy users of hot shower water in the morning. I am an early riser and need to wash my breakfast dishes without competing for that hot water. I went to a superstore and bought a teakettle. Took the best one offered in the 3 and 3/4 quart size. It failed miserably in weeks. My daughter in law then tried to help me out by going to a store and buying a better model. It, too, failed miserably. From our own married life with 8 children, I KNEW what model would actually win out, so I found it on Amazon.com. It is the Revere model which Peg and I had on the stove all our married life. It is a dream to use. It will not fail. I do not have to put a mitten on my hand to pick it up when I hear it boiling, and I DO HEAR it boiling!

The only downside is the computer order process. I tried to buy ONE, but the little box jumped to THREE, and I could not back out, so I own three. The one empty box and the two full boxes sit in my room as a reminder of how not to use the computer order process. I am too embarrassed to send a picture, but must admit the shiny copper bottoms in the see-through boxes are quite photogenic.

had my previous Revere 3-1/2 Qt teapot of the same model for more than 30 years.I'm sure it would have outlived me, except that I carelessly let it boil dry, damaging the plastic parts.Even with that, the pot itself was still tight and leak-free.Shipping: It must have gone out the same day I ordered it. I only live about 40 miles from the shipper, but 2 days from ordering for minimum-price Ground is not shabby at all.

Overall: This is the "Gold Standard" We're all looking for in E-Commerce.

I bought the 3.5 quart teakettle over 12 years ago and it is still going strong. This teakettle got me through college and let's just say I wasn't exactly easy on it over the years.

The whistle is surprisingly loud. You can't miss it, though it can be nearly deafening.

I've never had trouble with it drbbling or boiling over (unless seriously over filled). You can't really clean it but I mean you're boiling water in it. As long as you don't let the water sit in it for days you're fine. Yes, I have done that before and I just boiled a new pot and discarded it before making hot water for drinking.

It's not the prettiest kettle but it is functional and reliable.

Latest Generation Covers - kindle 3 covers, latest generation covers

I bought this as a way to protect my Kindle better than the other available silicone sleeves/skins, so it will be protected from things like dirty hands while reading outside (or snacking while reading), spills on the keys, things in my purse that could scratch the screen, etc. Also to provide a little bit of shock protection if the Kindle is dropped (though the material is pretty thin so I don't know if it would protect much against a drop).

The beauty of this product versus its competitors is that it covers all the buttons, and even the charging port (you can access both it and the slide button to wake up your Kindle through a very thin opening in the case), AND it covers the screen. When you want to read, you just open the flap that's covering the screen and it folds back and "buttons" onto the case. Then it buttons closed on the front when you're done.

I've been using it for a few days now and the only downsides I've noticed are: 1) That for some reason there is a small but significant gap around the edges of the flap when it's closed, instead of fitting closely and completely covering the opening. And, the part of the flap that "buttons" is so thin I'm concerned it might tear.

Overall I'm glad I found this and am happy with it.

Update 1/28/11: Still really like this thing. Though it does tend to attract little hairs & lint; not enough to put me off of the product but it would be nice if it didn't do that. I forgot to mention that I bought the aqua color, and it's not as garish as it appeared on my display (thankfully). But I do wish manufacturers would make silicone covers in colors beyond black and 6th-grade-girl-colors. A pale aqua or a pale pink, or a tasteful green or blue, or earth tones... M-Edge M-Skin for Amazon Kindle, Pink (Fits 6" Display, Latest Generation Kindle)

I bought this M-Edge M-Skin for two purposes: to protect my K3 in my purse, and for covering and thus protecting the keys from the letters wearing off as has been widely reported on the graphite kindle 3.

The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the gorgeous aqua color. I was in love at first sight. The next thing I noticed and fell in love with was the feel, the soft, pliable, silicon feeling that made it almost fun to hold my kindle in my hand.

The picture shows the flap lifted up and over the top of the kindle. There's a clever button on the back side of the cover to hold the flap down. You can close the flap, thus covering (part) of the screen, and button it down using the little button at the top of the keyboard.

The skin covers the keys, but the letters are not printed with any kind of contrast, which may be a problem if you have eyesight issues. It was not a problem at all for me. There was no problem typing and using the keyboard and the keys with the skin on -- covering the keys was a huge reason I bought the skin to begin with.

But alas! Much as I loved this skin, there were two drawbacks that had me send it back. I wanted to be able to toss my kindle in my purse. The skin along the sides of the screen have a gap, significant enough that I believe smaller items from my purse would work their way inside and do some damage.

The second drawback goes hand-in-hand with the first, and that is that the screen flap does not completely cover the screen and stay down tightly. The flap leaves a small border of screen uncovered. When I took into consideration the uncovered portion of screen combined with the gap along with side, I decided there was not enough protection to carry it in my purse without putting it into another case or cover.

And for the price, I decided to send this back. Regrettably, because I really liked this product.

I am very happy with this cover for my 3rd gen Kindle. The case fits snugly and all the buttons work well with the cover in place. The material is the same as some items you might find in an adult's sleeping quarters if you know what I mean. The cover seems to give it some shock dampening ability, but I have no real experience with this and don't care to have. Before the cover was on, I was worried about bumping or introducing any shock into the device, after the cover, not so much. The material does have it drawbacks though, every little piece of lint, animal hair, and fuzz in the general area seems drawn to it like a magnet. The problem is solved with a damp cloth and with a couple of wipes it all disappears. the cover has a very sticky tactile feel which makes holding the Kindle a breeze, no slippage at all. The little strap that holds the cover closed seems fragile, but this material is pretty stretchy so it may be ok. The keyboard letters are pressed into the material and hard to read in the wrong light. I have had to remove the cover when typing in certain lighting. There is a slot at the bottom which permits access to the on/off button and power plug with no problems at all.

I am very hard on electronics. I am on my third Ipod from throwing them in my damp lunchbox and dropping them on the floor. My Kindle will end up taking the same abuse. I had thought of looking at a zippered cover somewhere local to see if the covered Kindle would fit in there. If it fits I would have a nearly indestructible setup.

Overall, I am a very happy consumer.

Pros:

Tactile, easy to hold material

Appears to have some shock absorbing quailties

With cover in place, all the buttons work

Gives added moisture protection

Easy to clean

Cons:

Sticky material holds onto everything piece of debris that touches it

Fragile looking strap

Cannot read letters on keyboard unless in bright light - Kindle 3 Covers - Latest Generation Covers - Kindle 3 Cover - Kindle Covers'

Notebook Computer Bags - netbook, carrying cases

It's not perfect, but it's a very nice protector for a netbook. The Case Logic website has a list of every netbook model that fits inside this sleeve.

I have an Aspire One with the 6 cell battery (there's a wart on the back of the computer where the battery sticks out), and the fit is virtually perfect for this sleeve. Nothing else fits in the main compartment. The padding is very nice, just about right, not too much, not too little. It feels very good in your hand.

There is an ingeneous zippered pocket on the front of this sleeve. There is a slot for devices USB - mostly a USB flash drive, but also some shorter USB wires would fit in here. The Acer A/C adapter fits in the outer pouch, but you end up with a very lumpy sleeve (a pretty big bulge where you slid the adapter.

Of course this has the nasty old vinyl / neoprene odor that goes away after a few days. You'll want to turn this inside out and air it out in a sunny location.

As a sleeve - and it's important you know this is a sleeve, not a PC case - this is a very nice protector. You can very easily toss this in a larger PC bag, or carry on luggage, and have no fear that your computer will get scratched or damaged. It will not hold papers, hard drives, cell phone, etc. Just the computer and a USB key.

My sample is black. The charcoal color with gray accents is very nice looking.

March 6, 2011 update - iPads fit in this sleeve. I've carried my iPad for the past year inside this sleeve. With no cover on the iPad, the device is pretty loose inside. I used a DodoCase and then an InCase book style cover for a while, and they both fit inside this sleeve nice and snug. I'm now using an Amazon Basics silicone case that only covers the back of the iPad. The silicone hangs up on the sleeve material, so it's a bit harder to slide the iPad in and out. But then again, the iPad doesn't shift around inside the sleeve. This combination has been on forty or fifty flights in carry on with me over the past year - not a bit of damage or problem with the iPad. When I pull the iPad out, this sleeve crumples up in the book pocket of the plane seat. Pretty darn nice. Case Logic PLS-9 Ultraportable Netbook Sleeve for 7-Inch to 10-Inch Netbooks (Black)

I like this bag a lot. I got it for my 13'' macbook pro and it fits perfectly. It is more cushiony than other sleeves I looked at and the pocket is a great addition. It stretches to hold funky shaped things like the charger, extension cord for the charger, flash drives, cds, and more. One review I read said that the inside is a furry material... it is more of a foam material that is very soft. It won't scratch at all. This sleeve is a great buy!

I bought this case for my 14" Lenovo ThinkPad with the 9-cell battery. I wanted extra protection for when I'm carrying it around campus in my backpack.

I was pleased to find that this case fits snugly around my extended battery pack with enough room for my power adaptor and USB mouse. The outside pocket is actually a functional size, even taking into account the stretching of the case around a computer. I was also impressed with the padding, which seems denser and higher-quality than other similarly-priced laptop sleeves I have seen at retail stores.

After a lot of comparison shopping, I'm quite satisfied with this product!

This is exactly what I was looking for with the added feature of a zippered pocket. Although this is a 14" sleeve, it's perfect for my 15.4" laptop, which happens to be 14" wide. Many other reviewers seem to think that a laptop sleeve should emulate a case. Not to be confused with a laptop case or bag, a laptop sleeve is just that and is meant to provide added protection when placing the laptop in a bag or container that isn't designed to transport a laptop, such as an attache case.

Thanks to another review, I was able to get a good feel if this sleeve would fit my DELL Mini 10v with a 6 cell (bigger) battery. The sleeve fits and expands just the right amount to accommodate the Mini 10 and its bigger battery. I was worried about the bigger battery and could not find any details (except from one review for this product) that gave any hint if it work fit. Not even DELL could get me that information (which is odd). Amazon does pretty well with this thanks to customer feedback.

I think this is a nicely made sleeve that will do a good job protecting my 10v as I travel now and then. It is cheap in cost and should work for anyone needing to transport a 10v.

For me, the sleeved mini will be put into the extra compartment of a laptop backpack. This compartment does not have padding so the sleeve will do the protection.

For what I bought it for, it gets does exactly what it was purchased to do. I own a Dell M1330, and it fits my laptop like a glove. I don't have the extended battery so I can't speak for how it'd fit (although I suppose since it is elastic it would fit an extended battery), but with the regular battery it fits like it was made for my 13.3" laptop. The additional pockets are a plus, as it'll expand to fit the power plugs for most laptops and even an interior flash drive pocket which i haven't used since flash drives are attached to me key-chain.

The sleeve itself is like a thin layer of memory form like material on the exterior lined with a fabricy (new word) smooth outer coating. Zippers have a rubber grip for easy access. Inside it's lined with a semi-fur like substance that seems to have been sprayed with a anti-scratch type coating which gives it a slight grip to minimize movement.

Personally speaking, i wouldn't recommend any sleeve for distance travels, but for short distances sure. If you plan on being very mobile, a laptop bag is a MUST. I use this in addition to a laptop bag because protecting my investment is a big factor for me. Overall, it does exactly as described and comes highly recommended. - Netbook - Carrying Cases - Case - Notebook Sleeve'

Leather Case - nuvi, case

It's the official slipcase for the new slimline series of Garmin Nuvis. It's leather with a soft suede lining. It slides over the Nuvi very tightly. It's er, black with a printed Garmin logo.

Pros:

*It's more protective than a layer of air.

*It's small and light and fits the 3700 series very snugly, so it won't fall off easily.

Cons:

*You are probably paying $5 for the case and $15 for the logo.

*It fits the 3700 series very, very snugly so it's pretty awkward to pull off easily. A slightly easier fit and a nice velcro flap would have been preferable.

This is the first case I've seen specifically for the 3700s. It's a basic as it gets but it's better than nothing, or at least until third-parties catch the new accessory wave. Garmin Carrying Case nüvi 37xx Series

I purchased this case because it claimed to fit the 37xx like a glove. It definitely does. It follows the new slim design perfectly. The case will protect the garmin from minor abuse and definitely keep the screen from getting scratched. It will not save your garmin from many 6 foot falls. I haven't actually tried dropping it but it's not a hard case at all. Removing the 37xx from the case is not difficult at all, just push up on the bottom of the case then remove the 37xx.

[Pros]

Slim, sleek design.

Leather and suede.

Looks great.

No more scratches.

[Cons]

Don't drop it on concrete.

Could be cheaper.

Happy shopping!

Purchased this case for my Garmin 3790. Fits just right. Garmin slips in and out without hassles; not too loose and not too tight.

Leather, I believe called Kid Leather, is of excellent quality.

Product may have been re-designed since past negative comments. Yes, if I had to, I'd buy it all over again.

I do not have a Garmni Nuvi or whatever. But I do have an iPhone 4 which has a slim plastic case. Emphasis on slim. If it was any thicker it wouldnt fit in this Garmin Nuvi case. I like this for my iPhone because it slides easily out of my pocket versus the large & clunkly OtterBox I used to use. Thought I would share my experience.

I purchased this case to use with my nuvi 3790LMT, and it fits perfectly. Garmin did design these cases to use with the nuvi 3700 series, so it's no surprise it fits so well.

It's not a hard-sided case, so it won't protect your GPS from being crushed, but it will protect the GPS (especially the display screen) from getting scratched or dinged when you put it in a coat pocket, your briefcase or purse, the glove box, etc.

It's a worthwhile investment to help protect an expensive GPS device from minor damage.

This product is a great buy for the money. It's thin & light, and fits the Garmin nuvi 3700 series perfectly. The quality of the materials was higher than I had expected. Glad I bought it & I recommend to anyone looking for a case for this new series of Garmin nuvi GPS systems.

This case is designed for the Garmin 3700 series. It seems like a quality leather case but it fits a bit too tight for my liking. If you have nimble and strong index fingers and thumbs it should be a breeze (wow! Good work out, ha!). Making the ultra slim GPS hard to remove from the case. Garmin could have thought this one out better for the money. - Leather Case - Garmin Case - Case - Nuvi'

Does Not Work - splitter, recommended

Works great. This splitter does exactly what it is supposed to do. That is split one hdmi source to two displays. Please keep in mind that the displays aren't meant to be on at the same time with this splitter. If you need both monitors on at the same time then you'll most likely need a splitter that can amplify the signal as well. I am using this on my receiver that only has one hdmi out to split to both my 50" Plasma and my 100" projector. I do not ever have both on at the same time so this works perfectly. This is by far the least expensive splitter for this application I have come across. Most others are double or triple the cost. Again, know that you are buying. Cables Unlimited Premium 12-inch HDMI Cable Splitter (PCM-2275)

Dan J. Holloway "DJ Dan" review below is incorrect. This is splitter cable. You can only connect one input device (i.e. DVD player, cable box or satellite receiver) to two output device(i.e. TV or projector). You can't connect two input device (i.e. DVD player, cable box or satellite receiver) to one output device(i.e. TV or projector)

If you need sopmething to split two input devices you will need to buy an HDMI switch.

Get the facts straight and don't blame a cable for something you did not do the research on!

!Important!: Due to the current state of the technology, results using HDMI and DVI splitters can be mixed. Especially passive splitters which rely on the individual devices ability to negotiate a 3 way handshake. The problem is not all devices are programmed to deal with this properly and will sometimes default to a HDCP error state. To put it simply, some devices will consider the splitting of a signal to be a copyright violation, which could result in only one display being shown at a time or the blocking of content altogether. This type of situation is considered to be a device compatibility issue and can not be fixed short of a firmware update by the individual device manufacturers. Before purchasing this splitter, please be advised that we have no control over nor are we responsible for compatibility issues (including HDCP issues).

Plainly, this doesn't work. I wanted to split the signal from a TiVo to 2 screens. When this splitter was used, I received picture, but no sound. Also, the picture was poor quality with snow on BOTH screens.

What is needed is a powered/amplified HDMI splitter. I purchased one of these and it works just fine.

Don't waste your money on a easy quick fix..... I did, learn from me.

This product is ok. The problem is not the product but the description of the product.

It does however work if you know what you're doing, or if by chance all your products are the right version of HDMI. I however have lots of different versions of HDMI products. For example I have some monster HDMI cables that are version 1.3a cat2 and some that are still version 1.0. this device works with all my products that are of version 1.0 but it doesn't work with anything that is 1.3a or higher. Because HDMI is still relatively new and has not been standardized yet it may or may not work with all your HDMI products. The product does however only work as a splitter and not a switcher. I am returning this for a 1.3a splitter. I bought this one because I like its design more than that of the 1.3a switchers that seem to use a power supply and an extra HDMI cable. I give it a 10 for design and a 2 for compatibility. (really have to have things just right to get it to work.)

To sum things up for the less technical person. If you bought all your HDMI products a long time ago or buy cheap you are probably safe, but if you have mixed and matched (cheap/expensive, new/really old) then this product is less likely to work for you.

Not sure if the other reviewer "Nando" actually tried using this particular splitter??

This splitter is useless. You purchase a splitter because you need to send the output to two displays (in my case a TV and a Projector). However, with this splitter, the picture results in some snow when using 480i/480p/720p/1080i sources (such as directv or comcast). And using the splitter results in no video at all with 1080p sources such as PS3 Blu-Ray. Audio output from all sources functioned properly, but without proper video output, this device is non-functional. Solution: I removed the splitter from my configuration (my HDMI cables are not the problem).

I'm searching for another splitter.

This product acts more like a SWITCH than a BRIDGE. This is not clear in the instructions.

You can reliably use one TV or the other. You cannot use both TVs at the same time. It switches by sensing power to the TVs.

Note this is not for switching between two sources. It is for switching between two TVs.

This works exactly as advertised and I highly recommend it. I have two OUTPUT devices, a projector and a plasma TV. I want the signal from my HDMI switching receiver to go to BOTH. I plug this splitter in and then each device into it and now have the same exact high quality HD signal on both displays. I have tried more expensive splitters on eBay that require a power supply and they don't work as well as this. Kudos Cables Unlimited and Amazon.com. Great Product!!! I have no idea what everyone is complaining about. - Splitter - Recommended - Hdmi Cable Splitter - Hdmi'

swimming goggles - swimming goggles

I purchased the Aqua Sphere Seal XP Lady Swim mask because goggles don't fit me well. I tried many different goggles, but they all leaked or had to be so tight that I'd have marks half the day. After using these for a couple of weeks, I can say I am pleased. I haven't had any leak issues, there are no marks on my face after an hour swim, and my vision range is excellent. While I wouldn't want them for pool racing (too bulky), they are fantastic for open water swims and pool workouts. These are definitely staying in my swim bag! Aqua Sphere Seal XP Lady Swim Goggles(Clear Lens, Trans/Aqua)

These goggles left deep marks in my forehead and cheeks, did not quite seal around my nose (been told I have a Roman nose, and my hat size is large), and maybe because the seal was bad they even fogged up! MAYBE someone with a smaller head and face would have more success...

*Instead I would recommend the same company's Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask Aqua Sphere Vista Lady Swim Mask and/or the Aqua Sphere Vista Swim Mask Aqua Sphere Vista Swim Mask. They fit similar and have way more soft silicone-like plastic around the edges which seals gently but AIR TIGHT. I have a pair of each now (the ladies version doesn't come with a dark lens for outside) and they never fog, never leak, leave minimal marks on my face (main reason I purchased them), and fit both my husband and I perfectly. And the vision through them is SO CLEAR it's unbelievable. I believe they're made in Italy.

The Romans had swimming pools, but unfortunately for them, they didn't have these goggles!

Not to worry: in our era, this Italian product gives you a comfortable, leak-proof fit with a wide view. Aqua Spheres don't just protect your eyeballs, they reach your zygomatic arches, giving you pretty good peripheral vision.

(That way you can avoid accidental encounters during Adult Swim Hour when, for instance, your foot gets caught in a fellow swimmmer's trunks because you unwittingly merged out of your lane and did not see him until it was too late. Awk-WARD !)

Also, they're sturdy, so you won't need to replace them frequently.

I'd recommend these for anyone who loves recreational swimming. I don't know if they'd be appropriate for racing, but they might give good protection for water polo. Or, Marco Polo !

I cant use normal goggles cause I feel like they make my big eyes pop out. These types of goggles are much more comfortable on my eyes, and these are made for women so they fit my smaller face. Ive never found goggles that don't leak, but these work for me pretty well. I've been using them for a while. I noticed they leak horribly if I don't wet them and my face first. After that they seal pretty well. I'd only recommend them to those that can't wear the normal little goggles.

These are simply the best goggles I've ever worn.

Now, there may be some reasons. I have a very small face. I wear eyeglasses, and I actually purchase frames made for children, rather than for adult women.

My optometrist told me my eyes are closer together than average.

Whatever the reasons, I think these goggles work becasue there's simply more surface area for the goggle rims to cling to. When these goggles form a suction, you *feel* it. It's a mini-vacuum. Other goggles--made for speed racing--might form a slight suction, but not a noticeable one. The result, for me, used to be water coming in every few laps. That's all over now with these new goggles.

Visibility underwater is *greatly* increased, as a nice side effect. Which means it's really a pleasure to simply *see* stuff when submerged.

Also, these are sanely designed. It's *easy* to adjust them! I can't believe most standard goggles are such a hassle to adjust.

Great product! I don't leave many reviews, did so this time because I'm so impressed.

Love these googles. We are an aqua sphere family for their great products. I have the indoor clear aqua sphere goggles, but my eyes are sensitive to bright light. I purchased these for the outdoor pool. I can keep playing with the kids and scout for them above water with the smoke lens. They reduce that burning eyes at the end of the day from too much sun.

Finally! So great to have goggles that fit and don't leave painful indents around my eyes. I jumped into a lake from a boat with these on and they didn't budge. And the range of vision was excellent. When I got out of the water, I forgot I had them on. Love 'em.

I really like these goggles. I would say that I have an average size head/face but deep set eyes. These goggles do not leave awful, deep, red marks around my face for several hours like standard goggles. In fact I barely have any mark at all which is really nice especially when I have to go somewhere after swimming. The suction sets up pretty well although I really have to work on the temple area of the goggle every once and a while and be careful that your swim cap doesn't interfere as well. They can fog a little initially but I found that spitting on the interior of the lens and rinsing in the pool seems to work just fine for that even if swimming for an hour. They are also very easy to tighten once they are on and they also provide a great view of anything you may need to look at due to the wide lens. I haven't had these in a protective case at all and it looks like it's not too easy to scratch although I do try to take care of them regardless. - Swimming Goggles'
