Campbell Hausfeld MP5200 25-Piece Accessory Kit with Case

Good, quality components at a fair price. An assortment of tools and connectors to deal with most any situation you might run across trying to use an air compressor around the home and garage. Nothing cheap or flimsy here, this stuff is durable. The case is nothing to brag about, but it works. Nothing in this set has broken or shown any appreciable wear.

Ok, let's get real. This kit costs [...] bucks for 25 pieces made in China. If you are an occassional compressor user you will be most likely satisfied with what you recieve. Yes, the picture shows brass and no, there are no brass pieces. Chalk it up to "Looks are decieving". If you are an experienced and frequent user of compressor tools than look elsewhere. But, if you are a novice and a casual user, such as I am, then this is worth the price. As you know, it is difficult to find anything anymore that is not made in China and therefore you cannot expect high quality. But, for [...] bucks you should set your expectations at the [...] dollar level and you can't go wrong. If you consider [...] dollars to be a major expenditure than stay away from this product.

I am very pleased with this kit. For the price, I think it's absolutely worth it. You get all the accessories you would need to compliment a newly purchased air compressor (aside from the hose of course) as well as all of the fittings you need to attach them. They even give you the plumber's tape for sealing the threads.

There are essentially 4 tools in this kit. The air gun, 2 tire inflators and a pressure gauge. With the air gun, you can attach any of the included nozzles such as an air pin for filling basketballs or footballs or 2 different other nozzles for various applications. One of the nozzles has a rubber end on it.

In addition to the tools, you get a bunch of male connectors (2 with female threading and 4 with male threading) and one female locking connector. Your compressor should already have a female connector on it, so you should only need one female connector for the business end of the hose anyway. The rest of the male connectors you can use for the various tools. After using the male connectors for all the included tools and a hose, I have one male left that has female threading. I wish I had another female too, but what're you gonna do? There are a few other connectors as well that I'm not sure what they do.

The entire package is completed by the case that you get. It keeps all of the tools nicely organized in a clear plastic case that resembles something you'd keep fishing lures in.

In all, the tools are of acceptable quality with exception of the pressure gauge. The pressure gauge is one of those that you would see in a coffee tin at the register in Pep Boys going for 79 cents. It's made from chrome plastic and I have doubts about it's accuracy, but at least it looks like it's working.

So, the only way I could see to improve this at the current price is to include another female locking hose connector. Otherwise, I think it's an excellent value and I'm very pleased -- even with the crappy pressure gauge. Considering a combination pressure gauge + tire inflator tool runs around $40, this kit is an excellent deal to make your new compressor purchase useful.

I was pleased with the quality of the hardware and even the storage case. A minor disappointment was that this set needed another female coupler I thought it was a little strange that it only had a single female coupler, however this could be purchased at any hardware store after the fact and added to the set. I believe I received a very good value for the utility of this set. I checked the prices out when I purchased 2 more female couplers, one to restore to the storage case JIC I needed one in the future, and found that I payed 1/3 retail cost of the hardware alone combined. I am very happy with this purchase and gave another as a Christmas gift.

If this kit were $5.00 and consisted solely of the air blower then I would recommend a purchase. Thats the only piece besides the tape that worked properly. Both tire fittings worked once and then leaked air loudly and constantly from both center fittings. The extra pieces? The all leak air around the quick change. You can't get them to seat properly on a standard ball bearing quick change that you'd buy in any hardware store in the country. If you can buy the air blower separately somewhere, do that. It works great. - Air Compressor - Accessories - Campbell Hausfeld - Compressor'
