I was a little hesitant on this case initially because there were no reviews when I ordered (blue/black for me, pink for my wife) for our new Verizon iphones. I have been extremely pleased - the cases are good quality, give the iphone a little bulk (I felt like the "naked" phone was a bit fragile to handle), and all buttons, etc. are easily accessible. Plus, the cases and colors look exactly like the picture, and I think look really sharp on the phones. I was in the Verizon store and saw their selection of cases, and this case easily was a much better quality and better looking case than any I saw in the store. Would highly recommend this item. It is definitely a sharp looking case (quite good quality and doesn't seem like the type where the paint will rub off in a month). The two downsides are: the side railings on the front are unusually high, so when you drag your finger to the edge of the screen its like hitting a wall and that reduces your ability to fully manipulate things on the screen; and (2) the idiotic designers put these "helpful" stickers on the clear plastic screen guard that are supposed to help you apply it, but the stickers use a really strong glue--so after I applied the screen guard successfully and tried peeling off the sticker, the screen guard was covered in glue, making my screen worse than having no cover. Thankfully, I read some articles online that recommended using cooking oil (random, I know), and that worked in getting the glue off.
So...after a bit of hassle and work, its still overall a good case.
This case works on both ATT and Verizon phones. The case comes in two pieces (a top and bottom) that snap together over your phone. Some of the complaints from other reviewers I consider a plus. There is a significant amount of "bumper" material that covers all the sharp edges around the phone (which in my opinion does a better job of protecting it if dropped) I have not really had any issues with it limiting my screen real-estate. I love the rubbery material this case is made of. I have used it for over a month and it shows no signs of wear or color loss. One item of note that should be mentioned - the units design is made of two colors and if you look on the back, the brighter colored areas are thicker than the rest. This causes the case rock a little when on a flat surface (such as table top). Overall very satisfied.
I bought this case simply based upon the look (red/black for me). I bought my Verizon iPhone, and ordered this cover, on the day the phone released and was surprised (and a little wary) that the description said that it would work for the Verizon iPhone. I was pleasantly surprised when the cover arrived to find that it fit my phone like a glove. The case is very high quality and the colors are vibrant. I generally don't like cases for my phone as I feel that they add too much unnecessary bulk, but I wanted to add some extra protection. This cover is slim and not bulky at all. It also makes my phone seem very secure. I will be very surprised if there is any chipping or fading of the color, but only time will tell.
One of the other reviewers mentioned the "high walls" surrounding face of the phone with this cover. When I first put the cover on the phone I noticed the walls, and was afraid it would diminish my use of the phone, but I haven't experienced any problems associated with these "walls"
Overall, highly recommended for the iPhone.
Awesome item. I have the verizon iPhone and it fits awesome and it looks and feels great. It's not cheap feeling at all. It is vey durable. I have the all black one. It is very sleek looking. And the feel is very nice. I'm very very happy about my purchase
The case is lightweight, but doesn't feel cheap. It is a little bulky in the back, but the front and sides are nice and slim. It gives easy access to the headphones and usb connector, while also leaving the bottom speakers uncovered so it doesn't muffle the sound. Overall, I am very happy with the product.
Upon first glance, I absolutely loved this product! It arrived very promptly and all of the contents listed on the website were shipped, as promised. However, once I did a more thorough inspection of the cases( I ordered 2), I noticed the adhesive material (double sided tape?) used to hold the two pieces together was loose. If I tried to pull the case apart to test its durability, I could have easily done so. I had to fix both cases with Gorilla Glue. I did not bother the seller as it would probably cost more to ship them back than to actually fix and keep them myself. Otherwise, this would have been a great product!
The question for me is always this: Would I purchase this item again?
The answer is: Maybe.
I like the case. It's solid, well-designed, fits terrific and has a sharp look to it.
The problem: The 'white' isn't staying white, in fact, in a very short amount of time it's sort of dirty gray.
In terms of product protection, I'm confident that if I dropped the phone the case would do a nice job of saving it from destruction, which is ultimately the point, isn't it?'
