I used this in my B&D blower/sweeper. Not only does it last longer than my regular batteries, but the peak range is longer (the time before I notice the motor starts to go slower).

I trimmed my 8 to 9 foot tall, 70 ft long hedge row with my B&D pole Hedgehog.
Put it in the string trimmer, trimmed around them a little bit!
Put it in the B&D yard sweeper after picking up trimmings & Blew the sidewalk off!
it still wasn't slowing down!
So I didn't put it back in the charger yet! Because I'm not sure about the memory function.
Whether or not it's like the LI-ION. And memory has been programmed out??
I don't think it matters much anyway with the B&D TRI PAK SMART CHARGER!
Which is what you need for these anyway!
And what you need for all your B&D 18v Batteries if you want them to "Charge Stronger. And last longer!
TRI PAK chargers use to be difficult to find! Came with the B&D combo set!
They are trickle chargers, you can leave batteries on charge indefinitely & I'm not certain it is necessary or advantageous to run the battery all the way down with the Silver Series & maybe even the regular batteries!
