This keyboard is nearly perfect for my needs. I wanted one to connect to my tablet when using it on my desk at home, and occasionally carry with me if I'm going somewhere where I will need to type a lot. Well, it's a perfect smaller keyboard that still lets you type normally. BUT the advertisement doesn't tell you the exact size and I probably would have chosen a little different one if I had known that it's just half an inch too big to fit in the case that I got for my tablet. (The keyboard is maybe 12inches long?) I figure it's ok, though, because I usually only want to type a lot when I am at my desk at home (or at my desk in my office, where i probably wouldn't bring my tablet anyway.)
So, yeah, they should really tell the dimensions some place easy to notice in the ad (ok I went ahead and measured it for you), but other than that, it's great.

ALSO don't let the silly guys at the eletronics store tell you that you need an Android keyboard for an Android tablet. It's simply false. Windows keyboards plug-n-play with this android tablet, anyway, and I don't know why they wouldn't with others, too. SIIG JK-US0312-S1 USB Mini Multimedia Keyboard
Most PC USB keyboards are around 17-18" wide, because they have a numeric keypad on the right side. I never use the right-side numeric keypad, so this Siig Mini Keyboard made much more sense. It's much smaller (about 12" wide), which means I have more free desk space in front of me, for papers, food, etc.
It was plug & play with my Windows XP computer, with no problems. The keys are all in the right place (unlike some other mini keyboards). Overall, one of the best keyboards I've ever used.
If you're like me, and you don't use the right-side numeric keypad, and you want a smaller keyboard, then this is the one for you.
This is an excellent mini keyboard. I have used many and this is one of the best. It has a great layout and a short keystroke which makes it easy for me to type fast. You can extend the legs and tilt it up a little if you need to - some mini keyboards don't have this feature. Overall it's a winner!
Most desktop keyboards in the market have mushy keys with poor tactile feedback. That is one reason people pay outrageous amounts for old IBM mini keyboards with the clicky keys in the used market. This keyboard comes close to the famous IBM keyboards that are no longer made in tactile feedback. It is the same size as a laptop keyboard, but has better feel than most laptop keyboards. Other than a bit of an unusual layout due to the unconventional placement of the Home, End, Delete, Page Up and Page Down keys, this keyboard is darn near perfect, and well worth the price. I read other users' claim that this keyboard has great feedback, but I did not believe it at first. Now I am a believer.
This is a neat little keyboard. Plug and play with Windows 7 64 bit. I needed the compact design in order to fit my mouse on the keyboard tray, and so far I'm loving it. I instantly bought it based on the fact that it had the multimedia buttons; volume control, web browser hot key, mail hot key and play/pause; as those were the only ones I found myself using on my now retired keyboard.
The smaller size isn't creating any problems yet and key placement seems to be right on. When I was typing this I had to hit the backspace key and my finger instantly flew to it without having to look down so I would have to say I'm satisfied. I'm a touch and go typer and the keys are at the right height. They're not HIGH like the older boards, more of a laptop style with a fairly quiet tap as you hit each key.
Of course with the compact keyboard you lose the numpad, which I don't use a LOT of. It was nice to have, but I may miss it every once in a while.
Can't see any complaints so far, so as of right now 5 stars!
I was expecting a better typing feel based on other reviews. It feels like a stiff laptop keyboard with about the same key travel as a desktop keyboard. Feedback is a little on the mushy side. I hoped it would be more like a scissor keyboard, but it's not. I'd say it feels more like a standard Dell keyboard. It does not feel mechanical like my Filco Tenkeyless.
The layout is almost perfect. All keys are normal size and are located where I expect them. Extra keys like PgUp, PgDn and Delete are logically placed. I have not accidentally hit the Delete key. This is where this keyboard shines. If you're a touch typist, the layout is a welcome feature.
My only real gripe is the keyboard could be more compact by optimizing the space at the top where the media keys are located. The keyboard is plastic light but there is no flex when typing. I can live with the feel for this price range.
