I bought this tool to look at finished welds on the inside of tubing. It really does everything the descriptoion says it will do. And with the removable screen, it is very easy to manipulate the camera while being able to see the image on the screen. I even used it to inspect the inside of an air tank before mounting another compressor on it. I have not had reason to try the camera while submersed, but the instruction booklet says it is waterproof. With this feature, if you ever wanted to know WHY the grass is always greener over the septic tank, you probably would be able to look in there and find out! I definately would recommend! Love this item. Came perfectly as described. Still finding all kinds of uses for it. Don't forget to get a memory card if you are planning on recording. Comes in a yellow dewalt box with the picture on the outside, so it's not the most descrete if your buying it as a gift.

I thought that was really adorable and also remarkably mature, since most kids play house by making mud pies and pretending to vacuum, not by checking ductwork or looking for mold behind sheetrock.
Anyway, it was all a big misunderstanding. She was actually talking about the critically acclaimed television program starring Hugh Laurie. Which is not really appropriate viewing for six year olds.
Great camera though.
The Amazon web page for this camera clearly lists:
"What's in the Box
Camera, lithium-ion battery, microSD card, charger, hook, magnet, and box."
But guess what? There isn't a microSD card in the box and Dewalt clearly states in the packaging material that it is not included. This is a seller issue, yet there isn't anyway to contact the seller to resolve. I have been duped and intend to return the camera and purchase again elsewhere.

Es una herramienta funcional, de grato diseño y necesaria para todo aquel que guste de hacer sus trabajos personales satisfactoriamente. Lo que si le recomiendo a DeWalt es que el instructivo debe ser más detallado y explícito, por ejemplo, determinar y explicar los iconos que aparecen en la pantalla y su significado; el tiempo que requieren las baterías de la pantalla en cargarse, ya que se pide asegurase que estas estén cargadas para poder usar el equipo; referente al acoplamiento del cable de la cámara con el conjunto de la agarradera, detallarle al usuario el indispensable acople de los hexágonos macho y hembra habidos ocultos en el empalme, así como, que la línea blanca existente sobre la cámara debe estar hacia arriba y directamente alineada con el Led indicador de energía, toda vez que, de no ser así, el acople es imperfecto y el equipo no puede funcionar correctamente o, la imagen del objetivo vista en pantalla resulta invertida. Sin temor a equivocarme, recomiendo esta herramienta ya que es una buena inversión. Amigos, la tecnología no es un lujo, es un derecho.
