i have a larger home so i've actually purchased 2 amped wireless products and love them both. this one i used to double my range... used to only have wifi upstairs... after adding this downstairs i now can surf downstairs and outside in the yard. does what it says... easy to install.
Usually I have a hard time setting up routers, but this one really sealed the deal for me. Easy to set-up and the range it covered was full bars throughout my entire house. Great buy -- I absolutely would recommend it for others.
This was an amazing product. It was particularly helpful in setting up a network to transfer large files between computers and entertainment areas (PS3, netflix) very easily. It's great at supporting large data transfers at quick rates and does provide a strong range over a large distance. I am able to get full bars at any location of my house, and even to the edges of the yard. The setup was quick and simple, and so far there have been no problems
Bought this product recently, opened the box, went through the setup process. Scanned for my network. entered my security key and whala. it works. i have wireless coverage in my house and backyard. I read most of the reviews on here before buying and i must say this product works as advertised. It really is easy to use as i've tried several other range extenders from Hawkins and Netgear and this is the best by far. 5 stars.
I bought this repeater a few months ago. It was easy to install, and was working almost immediately. However, I find that if I am connected to the repeater, I can get long delays in response from the server on the other end of the network. I'm using SSH over VPN, mostly. The delays can be as long as 10 seconds. If I connect directly to my original wireless, the problem goes away. I blame the repeater, though admittedly there's not a huge amount of evidence here. It does do a nice job of boosting my signal where many other products have not made a difference. I wish it offered access to the statistics that it surely keeps about response time, dropped packets and connections, and so on.
Easy and quick installation, works like a charm. If you're technically challenged, you'll find this to be a piece of cake to set up and use. It will instantly boost the signal that you already have. I now get wifi reception everywhere in the house. Highly recommended!
I called tech support when I was first setting this up. It was super easy and I did it through my iphone. The signal is strong and now I have signal in areas of my house I didn't before. Good speed and good product.'
