Digital Scale Tare Accurate

I decided to review this item since other reviewer's comments have previously been so helpful.

Yes, it does everything it is supposed to do. I checked against known weights for letters,

packages and books and it was very accurate. It is easy to use and operates with the adapter or

battery, which was included. BTW, a replacement battery (9 volt) is about $4.00 at most stores.

You just place an item on the scale then in about 1-2 seconds it weighs and beeps. The weight

appears on the LED face, so just lift off the item and use the number for packaging reference.

You can also push the tare button and add item to get its weight. For my needs, I just found that

having the calculated weight on the front in a big LED and a beep to tell you the weight is calculated

speeds up the process: fewer times pushing buttons and glancing to get the info. You can change the mode

to Kg.. That does come in handy for weighing items going out-of-country. For a typical e-bay sale, it is

not likely that you would exceed the 75lb. maximum: most PC items max out a little over 50Lb, so the extra

25Lb. capacity definitely helps. Finally, the included 9 volt battery worked. For intermittent use, it's the

only way to go.

As a student, who buys and sells on e-bay, this is a very high value tool. I can weight out

accurately US mail and/or FedEx/UPS packages; it is constantly being used. Just knowing how

much books weigh, is a lot of help.

To sum up, for the price you get an excellent ROI.

Would highly recommend to anyone considering a purchase. Weighmax 2822-75LB postal shipping scale, Battery and AC Adapter Included

Scale seems to be pretty accurate. Can be battery operated, so you don't need to be near an outlet. Also, has an automatic shutoff...and saves the weight on the screen so you can view the weight once the package is removed. Has come in handy so far!

I was looking for an affordable, high capacity digital postal scale and the Weighmax 2822 seemed like the perfect match. The price was great (about $25 including shipping). The features offered, just all I needed: 75lb capacity, ability to weigh in pounds/oz and kg/grams, digital display, hold feature, tray for weighing envelopes, dc adapter and battery included.

When I received it, the first thing I noticed was that the plastic it is made of seems to be very thin. Although I have not had any problems with its construction, it seems that in order to save on materials cost and bring this item to a low retail price, this thin plastic was used. This is a reason why I use this scale with even more care.

Now in regards to its accuracy, I have noticed that this scale overstates weight by a fraction of an ounce. I found out when weighing the same items on this scale and an analog scale. Not a big deal really, but it can make you overpay for postage sometimes as you end up moving to the next ounce mark. This issue can be attributed to the scale not being calibrated and it could be easily fixed by just doing that, calibrating it...if it was an easy task of course. I thought calibration was easy, but it's not! In order to calibrate this scale, YOU NEED TO DO IT WITH A 75LB WEIGHT!!! I thought that was very inconvenient as first of all, it's not easy to find something that weighs exactly 75lbs (unless you have a dumbell of that weight at home, for example, that you can use). The other issue is that it says on the manual that if you exceed the 75lb capacity, you can damage the sensor, so you have to use something that weighs EXACTLY 75lbs. So because of the effort and risk that it takes to calibrate it and the little inaccuracy it has, I have decided to just leave it the way it is and use it like that. This is where I have had my biggest disappointment with this scale though. Looking at the positive aspect of it, I think it is better to come a little above the Post Office's weight than being below and having your package returned to you due to insufficient postage paid...

Another issue I have experienced with this scale is that sometimes it shows a reading rather than zero when you turn it on, and you need to turn it off and on again in order for just zero to come up. Weight readings also fluctuate up and down sometimes when an object is loaded and then it stabilizes. I don't know if that has something to do with the object I am weighing or if it is a little glitch in the sensor, similar to the reading showing when nothing has been loaded. Since the impact of these little glitches are minimal, I really don't sweat them too much and have been using this scale consistenly, saving time and not having a single package returned to me for incorrect weight/insufficient postage yet. This little issues along with the thin plastic used give me some doubts about the long run reliability of this scale though, but the jury is still out on that one and time will tell. Luckily this item has a lifetime warranty from the manufacturer, so if it ever breaks down, I will hopefully be able to easily return it to the manufacturer and have them provide me with a new one. Hopefully this won't ever happen. I would recommend keeping your warranty information though.

Overall, I think this is a good item and it has been helping me a lot. I think that you get what you pay for, so don't expect perfection with this. If you're a casual shipper, I think you will do fine with this scale, however if you intend to use it for business, you probably would like to spend the extra buck for something easier to calibrate and that will give you 100% assurance of its long term reliability...

Every time I turn this scale on, the numbers do jump from 0-8 ounces.

I don't know why it does that even though nothing is on it at the time.

So I have to press the button to turn it on and off...then it is ready for weighing.

After I weigh one package, the weight will lock in on the display and beep.

If I want to weigh another package, I have to press the button on and off again to make the display go back to 0 oz.

Placing a second package on the scale after the first...doesn't seem to unlock the locked display.

Unless I just simply don't understand how to use this scale, I have gone around and found a way to work for me.

I weigh all my packages twice and the scale is accurate each time. My post office double checks sometimes and tells me I am right on the mark and have a great scale.

So to me, this scale is great because it is reliable. The price is very reasonable.

Even though there are some minor inconveniences, I have gotten used to how I use this scale that it doesn't matter much to me.

I would love to know if other people who own this scale have the same minor inconveniences.'

Lumbar - relief from low back pain

I have dealt with chronic back problems for many years. As I have grown older the occurences are more frequent and last longer. OLD AGE ? Had back sugery cortisone injections and alot of visits to the chiropracter. Lately none have offered much help. I have been using the belt for a month. When I get up in the morning I cannot straighten up. I put on the belt for 30 minutes and I am good to go. I do another 30 minute session before I go to bed. Try different modes. I find the P2 with the alternating pulse gives me the best result. So far it is quite amazing as I can do my housework and take care of the yard without alot of pain. The pads work fine, have not changed the yet. The adhesive is not as sticky as when I started but I sit in a chair with a firm memory foam pillow behind me and I get good contact. So far so good. Best $100 dollars I have ever spent. Zewa Body Relax II Back Pain Relief System

All I can say love it, love it, love it. Like many people I have lower back pain and I tried several things to get some kind of pain relief. Nothing worked so far, but this product is great. Even after the first use I felt much better, it really works! I will definitely keep on using it and already recommended it to my friends that have similar problems.

I have breast cancer that's spread to my spine, generating great back pain. I tried this product as a desperate attempt to relieve some of this pain. It has worked. My condition makes it impossible to relieve all the pain, but the Zewa definitely makes the pain much more bearable and I'm almost off all the pain meds. That means I can be a little independent by being able to drive and shop again! This product is worth every penny!

Zewa Body Relax II Back Pain Relief System The electrode stimulation does feel good and help the back. However, the 4 adhesive TENS pieces that connect to the electrodes do not stay on very well, and once the battery has been worn down a couple of hours, the 8 different programmable modes, as well as, the timer stop working, and all you get is one mode of off and on, which weakens with the battery;so either get a rechargeable 9 volt or lithium battery or prepare to buy a large quantity of batteries to keep it going and allow the timer and programmable modes to continue working. Also replacement adhesive TENS will be very useful.

I bought this product several years back when it was still sold at Sharper Image. I was inspired because my chiropractor would use electro stem to relax my muscles. It works great. I use program P8 which cycles through all programs. Now I only need it occasionally if I pull a muscle. After some days using this device the pain goes away. I cured my back pain with yoga and gym but this tool was a big help. - Relief From Low Back Pain'

The SE Diamond Burr Set, 1/8", 30Pc. is not expensive and every burr is not a perfect tool, but for the price, they are good enough to have at the bench to do rough work before getting down to the fine polishing. SE Diamond Burr Set, 1/8", 30Pc

I've done every type of woodworking possible. Now at 60, slowing down, I thought I'd teach myself to power carve wood. I already have a high-speed moto tool but needed carving burrs. I didn't want to go too expensive until I had a feel for carving. After trying one of these burrs and realizing it would be a stretch to even carve cardboard with it I had to laugh to myself; I know better. One good burr would cost 3X what I paid for this set of 30. You get what you pay for. - Arts And Crafts - Dremel - Jewelry Making - Crafts'

Wrangler Jeans - levi 501, levis

My son has been hard on jeans from birth and he still is even in his 30s. His job includes climbing under and on buildings and everything in between. All of his jeans are torn within days and irreparably so. These jeans are strong and stain resistant and since he works in a public area, his appearance has really improved. Riggs Workwear By Wrangler Men's Utility Jean, Antique Indigo, 32W x 30L

I love these jeans & they are hard to find in stores in my area. I like the deep pockets & utility pockets on the sides (like for pliers, rulers, etc.). The side pockets are perfect for my cell phone. I also like the double material on the front of the legs. It provides extra warmth on cooler days & extra padding when down on my knees in the dirt.

my wife bought these for me, I didn't think I needed a good work jean, I really like them. They are very sturdy and double thickness across the front of the pant, yet I have not found them to be too warm or uncomfortable in any way. They were very protective when I found myself working in dense thicket...i walked away without a scratch...two thumbs up!! very good value. - Jeans - Levi 501 - Pants - Levis'

Bedroom Alarm Clock - dual alarm, clock radio

I bought this to replace my old alarm clock. It has a sleek design that takes up very little space. It has two alarms and can be set to radio, beeps or songs and has an adjustable snooze setting. The built in radio works well and there's a sleep setting so that if you like to fall asleep to the radio you can have it automatically shut off after a certain amount of time.

It has an adjustable brightness level, but I found its default/highest level to be suitable. At that level it's bright enough to see in the dark, but not bright enough to keep me up. The alarm is easy to wake up to and gradually gets louder on the beep setting. It automatically set itself to the correct time and date as soon as I plugged it in, all I had to do is set the time zone. It has a DST feature that can be turned off or on.

The only feature lacking is the ability to customize the alarm for either weekdays, weekends or both. It's not a big deal, especially with two alarms but it would have been nice. Overall I'm very pleased with this alarm clock. Sony ICF-C414 Clock Radio with Large 1.4 LED Display

Decent alarm clock for the price.

Pros: inexpensive, preset time, dst auto adjust, battery backup for power failure, easy to tune radio stations, easy to read display, brightness of display is adjustable.

Cons: Alarm "A" can be set to chime or radio, Alarm "B" can only be set to chime or an electronic tune. Both alarms cannot be set to the radio. Cannot adjust or view the alarm setpoint unless the alarm is turned on, so when you pass the current time the alarm activates. Radio sound is poor but in line with the price of the alarm clock. The snooze can increased from 10 min to 20 min to 30 min etc, but if you hit the snooze button twice while initially silencing the alarm, you go straight to the 20 min snooze.

Overall: a good alarm clock for the price but I would have paid more for a full featured clock radio had I know its limitations up front.

The item description is very accurate. If you want a dual alarm clock radio similar to those from 10 years ago, that is exactly what you will get and that is why I ordered it. Nothing fancy, just basic but with the Sony dependability. There are a few nice things though - the time is preset, options for the dual alarms sound, adjustable brightness, battery backup, very easy to operate and the AM radio actually works well, unlike other clock radios. This clock radio has no frills but for the price, it is good and dependable.

I have been using this alarm clock for 6 months now and I couldn't be happier. After years of searching for the right alarm clock I finally found it.

Positives:

1) I can see the display! I have moderately poor vision (glasses prescription is -3.75) and if I wake up in the middle of the night I can clearly see the time with this clock at my bedside. The green light plus the large numbers are very clear.

2) The progressive alarm wakes up even my heavy-sleeping husband. The first few beeps are slow and they gradually speed up to grab the attention of the heaviest sleepers.

3) You don't have to set the time! What more can I say? You set the timezone, plug it in, and it sets the time. It even catches daylight savings.

4) If the power goes out the small battery saves your alarm settings so when the power comes back on, the clock resets itself and you still have your alarms ready to go. This has saved me from being late to work more than once after a late night power outage.

5) The display light is adjustable. I've had green/blue alarm clocks before and the display was so bright it practically light up the whole room. The dim setting is fine at night, I can see it but it's not acting like a flood light, and I can still see the display just fine during the day too on the dim setting. Though during daylight hours I do have to get a little closer to the clock to see it.

6) I love the full 10 minute snooze. I don't understand why other clocks have a 7 or 9 minute one.

7) You can turn off the alarm when it's in snooze-mode, you don't have to wait for the alarm to go off again.

Neutrals:

1) The radio isn't great, lots of static and the speakers don't sound perfect. But I wasn't buying a radio, I was buying an alarm clock so that doesn't really matter to me. If you want a radio go buy a radio. *shrug*

2) The alarm isn't terribly loud. This is counter-acted by the progressive alarm beeping.

3) It's a little bit large, but for the big display numbers I assume that's kind of necessary.

Cons:

I really don't have anything bad to say about this clock.

One other note:

Some people have mentioned in their reviews that you cannot set the snooze back to 10 minutes if you go too far. If this happens wait until the snooze display clears off (takes a few seconds) then re-hit the snooze button, this will reset it to 10 minutes. - Battery Backup - Alarm Clock - Dual Alarm - Clock Radio'

Exercise Tools - exercise, fitness

This is a sturdy and versatile piece of equipment for people of all fitness levels. Utilizing the adjustable height, I can easily work it into my clients strength and aerobics programs for variety and fun. I originally purchased this stepper to do aerobic step testing for my new clients, but a lot of other applications have presented themselves!

My only criticism of this item would be to suggest that the stability strip on the top level step could be wider to cover the entire top. As it is there is about two inches of hard curved plastic on either side of the strip that could allow for a misplaced foot to slip off. The Step F1080 High Step

I hemmed and hawwed about buying this for awhile, then decided to take the plunge. What a good decision that was, this is a very valuable and versatile piece of equipment to me. I have a variety of workout videos that I can use this with, but I appreciate the adjustability of it the most. I find the 12 inch height perfect for my 35 plus year old knees. I have used The Firms step up boxes and Transfirmer which are 16 inches high, that height is doable but the 12 inch height is much more comfortable for me. And if for some reason I decide to add more height, I have found that my extra set of purple risers for my club step fit the high step just perfect. They don't exactly match colorwise but big deal.

I use it for aerobics, weight work, the topper is perfect for calf raises, etc. All sorts of uses for this step.

Great buy and well worth the money, I am glad that I finally wised up and bought one for myself!

Mine also came with a workout DVD, Cathe Friedrich's High Step Circuit which shows you even more ways to utilize

the High Step. Recommended.

This is an excellent product! Love the DVD that came with it and it is in my regular rotation. It is one of the best exercise DVDs I own. The step is well constructed and high quality. It is easy to change the riser height. I highly recommend this product and the wonderful DVD that comes with it.

Love this step! So much sturdier than other high steps I've used before -- allows you to step up and down quickly and confidently. Very versatile and definitely worth the money! Also like the DVD that came with it -- good deal!

I purchased The Step F1080 High Step and it was delivered in a timely fashion. The DVD inside had no clear wrapper indicating a new product, the outside DVD case was broken and missing the entire top section. DVD inside plays fine. Right out of the box the bottom step had a collection of dust and floor dirt ground into the four rubber/plastic floor cushions...obviously already been used on somebody's dirty floor. Although Clorox disinfecting wipes cleared up any dirt issues with the step, the broken DVD case (with the broken pieces completely missing from the box so it wasn't broken in transit) makes me a little less confident in the merchandise I might buy in the future. The step works fine, the DVD works fine. I just don't think I got a brand new product.

This is the best step product on the market and it really works. I have had this for about a month now and the difference is incredible. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to work the legs and glutes, which is a difficult area for most women.

This product shipped quickly and I highly recommend it. However, it did not contain a DVD, which was very disappointing, since I ordered this particular one because claimed to contain a DVD.

Amazon did take care of me, but I wasn't pleased that the product description was wrong.

I ordered this for my wife recently and I have used it more than her! I love that there are so many heights available. My basement floor is tiled and can be a bit slippery, that's where the anti-skid material on the bottom comes in handy, this thing stays put like nobody's business!

Who needs a big step when this little step will do? I use my High Step for general step exercises, plyo work, advanced pushups and core exercises- This is easier to store, less expensive and serves almost all of the same purposes as a larger step. - Exercise - Step - Fitness - Exercise Tools'
