Network Laser Printer - duplex printer, toner
As you can tell from the reviews, some suppliers have toner as good as the OEM for far less money and some suppliers sell worthless crap.
I ordered this product (HP 85 compatible) from OC Products and I am happy to report that my toner arrived quickly and WORKS GREAT in my HP LaserJet P1102W printer. Compatible Black Laser Toner Cartridge for HP Laserjet CE285A (85A) P1102W, M1130, M1210,
Just recieved the catridge, incredible savings and works great. I am using it for a P1102w HP. I read one review where someone mentioned that it was not compatitble with this model but I had zero issues and print quality is as good as factory cartridge.
The cartridge lasts longer than my factory cartridges. Very pleased with the speed of delivery, price and now quality. Sad that HP insists on throwing up warring boxes about having used supplies in use on the printer. If they would sell at a competitive price, there would not be such a large aftermarket for these cartridges. I think HP needs to try a different approach other than trying to scare customers into buying their cartridges by saying the warantee will be voided and it may over heat. Imagine if Ford told you you must only use Ford gas? Anyway, as a very high volume user of the laser cartridges, I have already ordered two more. For the price difference, if my printer fails after 6 aftermarket cartridges I will have saved plenty to buy a new printer.
Toner has been no different than the original toner that came with it, but has lasted longer in my HP1102W. Print quality has been fine compared to OEM. I purchased from OCProducts, and I would recommend using them.
This ink cartridge is okay. Okay in sense that it works. The ink is sometimes too light or too dark. I am not sure if it is the printer or the ink cartridge causing this problem. Overall, this ink cartridge is good knowing that it is not authentic. I would suggest this ink to people who have trouble paying for the high cost of ink.
Received product in a timely matter. Cartridge only lasted less than 3/4 ream of typewritten pages. We expected a lot more. Had to tap the cartridge several times through out its use. I'm not giving this a bad review because we could have gotten 4 or more of these for the price of one new hp brand cartridge.
Installed this with a little difficulty soon after purchasing my 1102W Printer. It worked fine but I had trouble making it fit into the printer. Several months later, to check a possible printing error (which turned out to be in the source-not the printer), I took it out but was then unable to fit it back into the printer. (Fortunately, I had saved the original HP starter cartridge.) I gave up and ordered a Hewlett Packard cartridge that cost four times as much but fit into the printer. If you can get it into the printer while you are still in the refund period, you're probably all right but I won't chance it again.
Bought two of these cartridges based on other reviews and was very disappointed in them. I put the first in the printer, printed a document and it looked like it had been on the floor with everyone stepping on it. Reprinted the document 8-10 times and it never got better. I thought maybe I had just gotten a bad cartridge, so I opened the second one and tried it. Same result. Documents (envelopes are the worse) come out black from the toner getting all over them. I contacted the company and they said they couldn't do anything about that, and if I had a complaint to lodge it with Amazon. I ended up buying a toner refill kit from another Amazon seller, refilling a cartridge myself and I and I couldn't be happier. Much better printing quality.
I bought a "compatible" black ink cartridge. It did not even print ONE page. What a waste of money. They did send a return label, but I have yet to see the $$$ back...
I would not buy from Quantum Electronics, Inc. again.Compatible Laser Toner Cartridge HP CE285A (HP 85A) - Toner - Brother - Laser Printer - Duplex Printer'
