In less than 5 minutes I had the old hard drive installed and working. Very simple and straight-forward, instructions are included and clear as well. FYI- the enclosure comes with a USB cord with two USB plugs (mini-USB to 2 USB), the second needed to supply extra juice apparently. I have used the hard drive for a quick and small file transfer with a standard 2.0 cable with no probs (not saying that you can, or what the limits are...).

I am more than satisfied with this product. I had received an external memory drive from my girlfriend's dad and he just said I had to buy a case for it. I thought when I was buying this that I was just getting a case. NO! I got a case, a Y-USB cable and a nifty little leather carrying case to put it all in. The installation instructions were very easy to follow and the drive is working perfectly. The only downside is that the little button on the end that supposedly automatically backs up your computer doesn't work, but I think this is because the drive and the case were made by two different companies. Excellent product, looks cool, will be using often :)
This Rockfish Hard Drive Enclosure Kit was bought as used but you could never tell. The box was not sealed but everything in the box was sealed as new.It sure looked unopened to me. Arrived in 2 days with Amazons free super saver shipping which leads me to believe that "Giggle" is a division of Amazon, perhaps for returned goods. Would buy from Giggle again in a heartbeat!
