I have a leather cover for my Kindle, but I wanted more protection so I bought the GelaSkin. The GelaSkin fits my Kindle perfectly, was easy to apply, and I had no trouble reattaching my Kindle to the leather cover. The GelaSkin is really two pieces, the front and the back, so the side openings of the Kindle are still accessible. I really liked all the GelaSkin designs, but I bought "Bloom" because of the bold simplicity of the design.
This GelaSkin is beautiful, but it is a sticker. I thought it was one of the *Gel Skin* covers that go over cell phones, so I was disappointed at that and that I paid almost $27 for a beautiful sticker.
This skin has far exceeded my expectations! It is thicker than I thought it was going to be. It was way, way easier to put on than some skins that I have owned over the yrs. I love the design. In my opinion you just can't go wrong with this one!
Guess I should have read the description a little better. I thought this was a silicone cover, not a "stick on". But I put it on anyway. The back went on really good. Now the front was a different story. I had to keep taking off and re-aligning to fit on right, still had some bubbles. Guess I'n not real good with these type of things. Realy like the design, just wish it had been a silicone cover.
Didn't know there was such a product and glad a "prod" notice popped up on it. I get a lot of comments about from both Kindle owners and non-owners. My granddaughter who wants a Kindle for Christmas is already shopping for hers.
The skin arrived and looks beautiful and it actually fits, which I was skeptical about. Wow! A product that works as advertised. I will admit, I fussed with the skin for a little just to make it fit perfectly, but then Voila! - A thing of beauty is a joy forever. My man Kadeem Hardison said that.
