After installing this in my mom's Blackberry Curve, it semed to work well. The next day it still moved the cursor around, but it wouldn't "click." This seemingly simple piece of equipment saved me from having to get a new phone. It was incredible easy to install and works flawlessly. My phone works like it did when I got it 4 years ago. The ball itself is slightly smaller than the OEM ball. Not that it makes any difference, and after a few days you won't even notice anymore.I will give an update if it fails anytime soon.
