I have used tdk cd's and many other's like maxwell,memorex,comp-usa,verbatrim, and fujitsu and none have had as good performance i have never encountered a faulty disk or even a skip. I would recommend these over all cd-r's! TDK CD-R80CB30 CD-R Data 80 Minute, 700MB, 52x (30-Pack Spindle)
I bought these cd's as I still have a couple traditional CD players in my house and I am not all that fond of messing with MP3 players. These discs have worked great. I have used about half of them so far and have had no errors or bad discs. One thing that I found interesting is I have a Yamaha Natural Sound CD player from the late 80's that I have never been able to play any burnt disc in. I have tried at least 10 different brands over the years. These CD's actually play in this CD player.
I would not have any hesitations about buying these CD's.
Remember back when 650MB blank CD's could cost more than a $1 a piece even when bought in large spindles? Remember when CD burners were hundreds of dollars and burned at 2X? I do.
Never thought I would need blank CD's for anything since the advent of thumb drives and DVD's, but I needed a good way to play MP3's in my car. The CD's are 5 different colors, which comes in handy for differentiating between each CD quickly while driving. I used each color for one specific genre or style. A good Sharpie will do the trick for labeling.
The CD's have been working great even after sitting in my car for months and not being handled carefully. I've had no failed burns or other problems.
