It was perfect for my mutt. He's quite big and heavy, but this leash was durable enough to handle him. Since he likes to stray too far at times, it was a good thing to have around for walking on trails or exploring wildlife. Very good purchase.
Was looking for a light weight training lead longer than the 30ft found in most pet stores. This product is perfect for recall training at distances. Cotton material is light and doesn't tangle up in itself. Would certainly recommend this lead and Grooming [...] for prompt shipping.
I could tell when I first opened the package that this 30 ft trailing leash is a REALLY Quality made product.
Definitely will be getting great use from this product since Pixie my Chiweenie (Dachshund/Chiwawa mix) dog is obedience challenged lol
She comes back to me when SHE wants to not when I call her. That's a problem since I live near a street people seem to zoom down like they're in a drag race.
Hoping to use this to train her to listen better to me and take her on long walks around the neighborhood and be able to keep her safe. Thinking about sewing another handle on the leash to make it shorter for the walks around the neighborhood. :-)
My bichon chewed right through this rope within 48 hours. It did not even look as if he was really chewing on it but rather playing with it. I had to tie the two chewed ends together just to continue using it.
I love this thing. I have it hooked up to my porch so Dude has a nice lightweight 30 foot leash to walk around with. The thing is very durable, which means I have no fear of my 85 pound Boxer breaking it. I've had it for about a month now an use it every day. Not once has it got tangled up like a cable leash tends to do. Love this thing!
I was pleased with how this leash performed, it resisted twisting even while we played fetch with our dog and it was nice and sturdy. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because I ordered a red leash and received a black one, even though the invoice said red. It didn't bother me enough to return it, but technically we did receive the wrong product. My dog has progressed to not needing the training leash, although we will definitely take it camping with us. I'm happy with the quality.
these wash well, and are soft on the hand. they are plenty strong -- i have two dogs - 80 lbs and 55 lbs - and routinely put them BOTH on 1 lead. I prefer the coast brand as they are a bit stiffer cotton. but these work well. my 1st one (20 ft) lasted 2 years of being used, and washed over and over before it started to fray. i good deal in my book at this low price point. i now have around 4 - in 4 different sizes (and two of the other brand). :) - Treat Dispenser - Dog Bike Leash - Bike Leash - Dogs'
