This is a well made case. It is stylish enough to be worn with business attire - and that is what it would look best with. The outside of the case is black and the inside is a tan leather. There is a small "C" logo on the outside flap...and it is not too big (about 1cmx1cm). The flap closes securely with the aid of a magnet. The clip seems relatively sturdy as I've been using it for the past week or so. If you would rather not attach the clip and use the permanent belt loop you can do that too.
The reason this has 4 stars and not 5 is that it fits the DROID X a little oddly. It is actually somewhat difficult to insert and remove it from the case if you put the camera end down. I find it to be almost a two handed operation. That being said, it holds it very securely and will not fall out even if the flap was not closed. With the camera end down, the flap closes completely and easily. Also, with the camera end down you can access the top button on the phone as well part of the side volume toggle (probably enough to be able to press and silence the phone without taking it out of the case).
If you insert the phone with the camera side up, it is easy to remove one handed but it does not hold the phone as securely. With the camera side up the flap doesn't close as easily. It still closes, but you have to push it into place a bit more to make it securely latched. Lastly, in this orientation the side buttons are very accessible but not the top one (unless you open the flap).
In the camera down position the charging port will be available while in the case, camera up position it will not be.
I do not have any cases on my Droid X - if you have any case whatsoever I seriously doubt this will fit. Overall I would recommend if you don't have a case on your droid X and are looking for a well made, stylish, and secure case for your phone. With a silicone case or anything that increases the outside dimensions of the phone this will likely not work well. I am considering trying to "stretch" it out a little to see if that helps. This is a well made case, I purchased for my Motorola Droid X.
Strong leather, single-stitched and a magnetic closing on the flap.
The fit is perfect; Snug without movement and without pulling too hard to get in or out of the case.
With the flap open, held upside and shook, the Droid X does not fall out.
Again, Perfect Fit.
The case rear has a snap attachment (provided but at your option to apply) to adhere the case onto your jeans and also a button-snap (tastefully sewn into case) to loop around a belt.
The optional snap attachment is difficult to attach, as you must cut away a portion of the leather to attach the snap to the case.
2 flaws which prevented a 5 star rating.
* With a skin, the X will not fit (not a deal killer for me). I removed my skin.
* Camera-side entered last (right fit), you cannot use the car charger for charging, there is no slot for the charging adapter. Camera-side entered first (upside down), the charger is available in the top right opening of the case. However, now to get the X out of the case, takes a lil bit of pull.
This case was clearly made to enter right (camera last, non-upside down).
Neither of those flaws sway my review.

Whenever I've purchased a case for a cell phone I've had mixed results. Many either don't fit, are poorly made, or have other major issues. I've very pleased with this cases. It fits the Droid X perfectly. Not too loose, not too snug. (like most leather cases, it might be a little snug for the first couple of days until it get's broken in) It has a nice, removable and very functional belt clip. You can remove the standard belt clip and underneath is a swappable belt loot to attach it to a very wide strap. The magnetic closure is very secure.
Yes, as some reviewers have pointed out, it will not fit if you already have another case or "skin" on the phone already. However, I'm not sure why you would need those if you plan to carry the phone in this case. This offers great protection. It they had made this large enough to fit a phone with one of those on it, it would be way too loose for a bare phone.
It is very well constructed with a professional looking fit and finish. It offers great protection against bumps and fall.
If you insert the phone as intended, bottom first, you cannot insert a charger cord. Not a big deal for me. This type of case is intended to protect the phone while on your belt, in a purse, etc. It is not a "keep on all the time case." As such, the fact that certain ports or controls cannot be used while in the case is not an issue for me. Also, having some of these opening scovered helps protect them from getting plugged with lint or dust.
Prior to purchasing this for my Droid X, I had used the Body Glove case. It's a nice case but the belt clip on it is worthless. Also, it offers no protection for the screen, which is the most vulnerable part of the phone.
The price on this is excellent. It a great value given the workmanship and functionality.
