Apple Keyboard - android, misleading

I looked at Bluetooth keyboards to compliment my iPad. This one looked great in the pictures but when I received the product it was completely unsuited to the task. First off the keyoard is much smaller than it looks online and the keys are rubber chicklet type keys which will not allow you to touch type. As in the other review the keys are smaller than the keypad on the iPad so there is no advantage. Believe it or not the Microsoft curve bluetooth keyboard works much better. Apple's Bluetooth keyboard also works.

The good news is that I was able to return the keyboard no questions asked, so the company is a good one, its just this product that does not fit the bill

A word of caution I was looking for a Bluetooth keyboard primarily for when I am on long airplane rides but, as many of you know you are not allowed to use Bluetooth devices on airplanes, which kind of defeats the purpose.

Overall the need is real, but this product will not meet the need in my opinion. Flexible Bluetooth/Wireless Keyboard for Apple iPad

Works and pairs Ok with my iPad. It is tiny, but at least all your punctuation and numbers are there.

Only real criticism: The EJECT key is ignored by the iPad. I tested the keyboard on a Macbook and the EJECT key is functional, but on the iPad it is ignored. The EJECT is the key that is supposed to pop up the native iPad keyboard. You can still get the native keyboard by turning off the bluetooth keyboard.

It's just far too small. The product description says this keyboard is a "Full size QWERTY keyboard", but that is incorrect. The actual size of the letter portion of the keyboard is significantly smaller than the iPad's onscreen landscape keyboard and slightly smaller than the portrait onscreen keyboard. The outside distance from Q to P is 7 inches (18cm) on the iPad in landscape. It is only 5 inches (12.5cm) on this keyboard. So, before buying, put your 8 typing fingers down on a 5 inches of a ruler like it is a keyboard to see how the fit will feel. Alternatively, rest your left hand on "ASDF" on your iPad's PORTRAIT onscreen keyboard to get a sense of the size. I have small hands, yet it is completely unusable for me. I can type very fast on a regular keyboard, but hunting and pecking is quicker on this. The ipad screen is much more comfortable but gives no physical feedback.

If you can somehow deal with the tiny size, it does roll up very small. It's about the size of a pack of cards when rolled up.

I'm returning this and ordering a second Apple Wireless Keyboard (Retail Packaging). That keyboard is an appropriate size for hands, and is still very small and portable. I suspect this flexible keyboard is also far less durable.

I have added photos to show it at a better angle with an iPad, in comparison to the onscreen keyboard and a small standard keyboard.

I love this little flexible keyboard that I can roll up and stick in my suitcase. My fingers are not large and the size of the keys could be problematic for some people but it is so cute and handy. I have actually gotten pretty good at taking notes on my ipad w/o a keypad, so I just need to do a little more practice with this. I think it will be great!

I love that it is bluetooth.....no wires!

I wasn't too sure what to expect from this keyboard since no one had reviewed it yet but I am plesantly surprised by it's size, portablility and ease of use.

Very easy to connect. Just press the button on the keyboard to activate discovery mode, do the same for your ipad and the keyboard will automatically sync.

Good craftsmanship. This thing is made of a very flexible, durable rubber material that is thankfully waterproof. (An infamous day one mishap involving a child and his drink!)

It can also be rolled into a small size that will fit into any small bag or briefcase.

Reasonably priced. A bargain at 34.99.

Size. Some may consider it small but when travelling it is absolutely PERFECT. Fits almost anywhere and after a few weeks, I have really gotten used to typing on it with my fat fingers. It is just like anything else, after a few uses, you get comfortable with it.

Overall, I do not think I could be happier with this keyboard purchase. It has all the features that I want out of a bluetooth keyboard for my iPad and at a great price.

Highly Recommended.

I bought this on a whim, i don't hate it enough to send it back, but the keyboard is painfully small. I hit keys by mistake because they are so small, but its a wow factor to show a flexable keyboard, and i tech a class who have never seen anything like it. i am thinking about deconstructing it to show how its made. for me, other then that it serves no function. I recomend the apple BT keyboard.

Overall this is too small for typing. So it is more difficult to use the keyboard than iPad. So why should I use it instead of my iPad. So I bought it and I don't use it at all. Just waste of money. There is no converting button for language. Since I use another language with English, so i have to use a keyboard and keyboard of iPad same time always.. - Android - Ipad - Bluetooth Keyboard - Misleading'
