Wireless Desktop - wireless keyboard, wireless keyboard and mouse

I am writing this review after using this combo on my desktop for just over 48 hours. This is my first wireless keyboard/mouse purchase.

The Mouse is a Logitech M210 bundled with the M260 keyboard. Both the keyboard and mouse worked right out of the box in both Windows and Linux, including the keyboard hotkeys. I was able to reassign the hot keys easily in linux. Over all the keyboard is smaller than what I am used to, and does seem slightly less durable than other keyboards I have used, but I didn't think I was going to break it. I was able to use both the keyboard and mouse about 12 feet away from the computer. The mouse was comfortable enough, and I had no trouble adjusting to the new keyboard.

So far (48 hours) I like it and would consider purchasing it again. I just have to see how long the batteries last.

For Linux Gnome users I selected "Logitech Cordless Desktop" in keyboard settings but it worked correctly before I made the change. Logitech Wireless Combo MK260 with Keyboard and Mouse (920-002950)

This product shipped quickly and works flawlessly. I'm primarily a mac user, however I use this for my new pc setup, and it doesn't lag nor did it require any drivers. I haven't tried it on my Mac, but can verify it works beautifully on my PS-3. It also doesn't have the ridiculously high price of the PS3 bluetooth one, or it's annoying syncing issues either. There are some complaints of the lack of num-lock and capslock key lights, however for the amazing price and battery life, plug and play simplicity, and light quality of the unit, The small sacrifice is understandable. Plus, in store, a good wireless keyboard cost more, or just a little less than what this entire keyboard and mouse combo does. Excellent not just for the price and multiple uses, but also quality and battery life.

Being a mature (68) person, I am not interested in all the whistles and bells. In my opinion that is something else to cause problems. This keyboard was very simple to set up and is exactly what I need. The keys on my old one began to stick and continued to stick after a thorough cleaning, and I need something easy to install and use. Thank you for what I call an excellent product. And, oh yes, the keys do not stick. :-) - Cordless - Wireless Mouse - Wireless Keyboard And Mouse - Wireless Keyboard'
