Seems a bit cheaply made, Somebody is making these in their basement, buy a name brand like Griffin. The armband is really short, made for a child or small woman it seems, it would cut off the circulation on any adult man. Lower the price and you got a good deal. It's functional, not a horrible product but he pictures are a bit deceiving, I might send mine back. not really satisfied. I bought this armband for my iPod touch and it has worked really well. One reason I bought this model was because it said it had a covered entrance. I sweat a lot when working out and so this feature was really important to me when trying to decide which armband to pick up. It has been great so far for keeping my touch protected. I have no problems controlling my touch when it is on my arm. The armband strap fits my arm (13") perfectly with a couple inches to spare. I'm not sure it would go up to 17" but I noticed there is an extender strap available if needed. I also like that this armband is not too bulky as some others I have seen and the little flap to control and store the cord is real handy. Very satisfied with my purchase!
This sports armband is very poorly thought out. In addition to it being ill-fitting on myself (it is meant for a small adult, or overgrown tween, at most), the plastic doesn't lay flat so it creates a bubble between the iPod and the plastic. It barely fits inside the case and you don't want to force it for fear you'd rip the stitching out of the neoprene and plastic. However, that isn't the most annoying part. The geniuses who designed this must have a figured out how to create nuclear fusion reactor for their iPod to keep the battery from draining because you have to take the iPod completely out of the armband to recharge this thing - there is NO cut out at the bottom for the 30pin connector. This thing is going back faster than Obama can spend money with a blank check and no Congress to rein him in. Spend a bit more and get something that isn't the equivalent of what I flush down the toilet every day.
This works great for what its intended for. I use it for working around the house hands free. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 is because it isn't the greatest fit. It is a bit loose and doesn't fit snuggly, but, other than that, it is great.
The arm band stays on well, and is functional, but the only thing I wasn't expecting was the color. In the image it appears dark gray or light charcoal, but upon arrival I found it is actually just black.
This is the perfect item to use for me at the gym. Nice snug fit and the navigation for the iPod touch is like normal without it. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for such an item. The price was right as well!! - Ipod Touch Armband'
