I bought this cover because the original one I bought from the Verizon store broke a week ago. One of the tabs broke off but I've had it since the summer so I wasn't upset. I was suprised when I got this in the mail because it came in 2-3 days and it is made more sturdy than my original cover that was much more expensive. I've only had it for a few days but I'm impressed with the quality of the cover. My husband even commented on how cheap it was. He almost couldn't believe it. Surprisingly, I got way more than I paid for.
I adore this cover. I used to use one from verizon that came with the phone, but it was difficult to take on and off. I recently purchased a charging station that requires the case to come off to work. This case comes off easily, but only when I need it to and not when it's just in my purse or in use. I also jog with my phone and it has stayed on when I've dropped it. One my favorite things about it is how easy it is to find in my purse...my other case was dark purple. I've gotten many complements on it, too...which never hurts ;)
This is a very pretty cover and I wish it would have worked for my phone. It took me a few minutes to figure out why it did not. I swear I almost broke it trying to get it on. But, it occurred to me why it did not fit. I have the larger (extended life) battery on my phone - so, this cover (and probably most) will NOT fit. I have been shopping around and I might have to go with a skin - which, to me is a weird concept,but just to forewarn anyone who has the extended life battery - these covers will not work.
This case fits the Droid 2 Global perfectly, it's easy to snap on. Only very slightly hinders the top row keys, it's hardly noticeable. The speaker cut out is all the way across, just as pictured. The plastic is thick and sturdy. It really brightens up an otherwise drab smart phone. I have the regular battery installed and even with this case on it still fits in the dock, once you remove the insert. - Phone Case'
