Office Supplies - post-it, bookmark

I love post it arrows. I keep some in my desk, my computer bag, and in my bum roll. They're great for bookmarks and for 'tabbing' pages in books that you are going to use again and again. I would not have made it through some of my grad school classes without tabbing the APA manual for certain footnote styles.

The great thing is when you are done with the arrow, just toss it. They don't mar the page, but they stay where you put them, unlike my traditional bookmarks which get stolen by my cat and put in my bed at 3:00 AM.

Rebecca Kyle, October 2008 Post-it Arrow Flags, 1/2-inch, Ideal For Marking And Flagging Paper Documents, 4 Assorted Colors, 96 Flags per Dispenser (684-ARR4)

I also thought I was getting 4 packages of these flags, but just got one with 4 different colored flags. Not sure if that was the intent or not. Although I would have paid the same price at Office Depot, free shipping saved me a trip to the store and waiting in line for an item that I did not need immediately.

Buyer be aware that this is really only 1 pack of four colors. Before I ordered it I felt that the offer was too good to be true. The list price was 14.19 and it was being offered for 6.35. Shipping was free. It came quickly but I could have got the same thing at any office supply store for the same net price. - Post-it - 3m - Bookmark - Post-its'

Data Transfer - data transfer, charge kit

I am new to Kindle so it was nice to see a reasonable price for some extras. The only issue I have with this kit is the screen protector. This one was a difficult one to apply without bubbles. The second pull off arrow sticker was really stuck to the screen guard and it took two of us to hold the screen protctor and pull the encasement off. Alas, I cannot work out the last of the bubbles with the provided micro shammy cloth. I have tried the credit card method but that did not work either. Not that I really mind the bubbles, yet, so at least for now I'll keep trying to work them out. I sure was not willing to pay the $24.99 for the Kindle screen protector I saw at my local Target. Amazon Kindle 3 (3rd Generation) USB Car Charger, USB Wall / Travel Charger, Earphones, and Screen Protector / Guard. CrazyOnDigital Wristband Included

Perfect extra accessories for traveling! You do need to either use the USB cord that came with the Kindle 3 or purchase an extra one. For $2.99 each, I got 2 of these (one for the car, one for travel):Oriongadgets Sync & Charge USB Cable for Amazon Kindle 2 and 3 (White) There is a better screen protectorGrantwood Technology's 2-Pack Premium Anti-Glare Screen Protector for NEW Kindle 3 and Kindle 2, (6" Display) and the earphones are very basic, but for the price, this was exactly what I wanted. I'm not sure what to do with the plastic bracelet, however. :-)

The Travel Charger is great. I read a lot while traveling and this accessory assures me that I won't have to wait to recharge after we reach our destination. The screen protector is ok, but sometimes falls off. I haven't used the earphones yet.

I bought this because my charger broke; more specifically the piece that plugs directly into the Kindle. What is included in this package is merely an adaptor to plug the USB into the wall (which I already had) and one for the car, which could be nice. However, the entire charger apparatus is not included. I have to try and buy a "charger" now.

I like my 3G. I cannot believe the battery life is so long! It is super easy to use, and there is a great selection of book titles, including Classics that are great to get for free. I have really enjoyed reading those. My friend got a N... which I thought would be awesome since it is in color, however, she returned it because it was so much harder to use. - Data Transfer - Charge Kit - Kindle - Accessories'

Maytag Filter - water filter, replacement water filters

I purchased a new home in august that came with a fridge that used one of these filters. I noticed when I would get water from the fridge water dispensers it would always taste metallic. Then one day the change filter light came on so I bought one of these filters and now the water from the fridge tastes great. These things really do work! They are easy to install as well. Maytag UKF7003AXX PuriClean Interior Refrigerator Cyst Reducing Water Filter, 1-Pack

This filter is easy to change - just twists out. A push and a twist back in and it is up and running. I had to wipe a little water off my top shelf the came out with removal. (search Google for your fridge type if you cannot find it). Mine was in the back of the top shelf.

It filters water. It tastes good.

Only annoyance is having to flush a couple gallons through before drinking the water. It would be nice if it was pre-flushed. This was annoying with the fridge water dispenser because it took a long time and I filled several pitchers full. I dumped this water over dirty dishes so it didn't fully go to waste.

You know, the picture shows a PuriClean filter. The title contains the words PuriClean filter. Well, I got the Maytag version of a PuriClean filter which lasts half as long. Six months instead of a year! Seems like very misleading advertising to me...

The filters shipped were not the same filters that were pictured.

I was disappointed and will be sure not to order from the seller again.

When I contacted the seller they just said the filter had changed. I feel I was given a cheaper replacement filter. That is why they were selling it cheaper than others. I ordered by looking at the filter and the number. - Maytag - Water Filter - Replacement Water Filters - Fridge Filter'

Computer Accessories - hub, accessories

Me and a friend of mine got one, and we are sad to say, it was a waste of money. It's not high-speed, it can't hold more than one thing with transfer without canceling everything out. For example: I had my Logitech Headset plugged inside it, and had my PSP USB Cable in the slot next to it. I went to transfer something off my memory stick, (Which by the way was EXTREMELY slow) and when I exited USB mode, it canceled out my headset too! Do not buy this, honestly! Find something better then this false advertisement! Black 4-Port High Speed USB 2.0 Hub

Worked fine for a couple days, then just stopped working all together. I tried just plugging one device in it and still does not work. Some reviews stated it is not high speed... heck I would take low speed over no speed. Of course not going to return it as shipping would be as much as the product. Maybe that is what the seller is hoping for by pricing it that way? Oh well, no big loss, will try a better quality device.

Bought 2 of these to expand USB connectivity for one of my old desktop computer and my netbook. I use it to connect several USB drives simultaneously and recognizes all my USB drives including my Sandisk 7-in-1 card reader. However, problem starts when I plug in my iPhone cable and won't charge my iPhone nor will it connect to iTunes. Transfer speed was average. It's not high-speed as it advertises so I'm not sure why it states that. Price is great and that's what attracted me into buying 2 but save your money and you can find better USB hubs at the same prices out there.

Was supposed to have shipped a week ago. Just got an email from Amazon saying that they can't get any shipping info from the vendor. When I try to contact the vendor, I get no response.

Don't know if they're out of business or just irresponsible, but I have no intention of every doing business with the vendor again.

Doesn't work! As soon as anything is plugged into it, it pops up in Device Manager as unknown device and looses drivers until system reboot is done. It went straight to the garbage can! Don't waste your time or money on this one!!!

First: the seller gets 4 stars for speed, service, and shipping.

The product was, well, less than acceptable. I bought 4 thinking I could use them on 3 different computers and one spare. SO FAR the 4th one is still in its package, the other three have failed. I hooked up the wireless mouse and an 8 gig flash drive to a laptop and the longest one lasted was 3 days.

So basically I've had the USB split for about a month, and about 5 weeks after I bought it, with LIGHT use, it broke. It still works but if it gets TOUCHED or moved at all it stops working and I have to unplug and replug everything plugged into it as well as the split itself. That SOMETIMES fixes it. Other times I just have to wait and wonder how long until it will start working again. TERRIBLE PRODUCT. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. Although it may look like a good buy and a useful device, don't waste your money. The sellers have the return window just a drop smaller than the useful lifespan of this USB split, and it is throwing away money to buy it.

Quality: Looks nice, feels cheap, clearly bad wiring

Price: Good if it worked... Too bad it doesn't

Shipping/Packaging: No complaints

Customer service from seller: Horrible. - Accessories - Hub - Multi Port Hub - 4 Port Usb Hub'

Bosch 4100-09 - portable table saw, table saw

Bosch 4100DG-09 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw with Gravity-Rise Stand and Digital Rip Fence

I bought this tool as my first table saw. I have been quite happy with the saw, but I question the value of the digital rip fence, especially at a $100 premium. My experience has been that it needs frequent calibration to the blade and turns itself off too soon. I find that the optical scale works better for me. I also find the aluminum table top sometimes marks the pieces being cut and precludes the use of magnetic feather boards or jigs. Overall a good saw for the price if you don't spring for the digital fence. Bosch 4100DG-09 10-Inch Worksite Table Saw with Gravity-Rise Stand and Digital Rip Fence

This is one heck of a saw. Everything is thought out. Everything is right there where you need it. Everything screws down tight and it's obvious that the people who designed the saw thought long and hard about how people work and put everything on the saw and in an easily accessible place to help them work. Using it is a joy. Yes, you pay about $200 more than the Rigid jobsite saw to get that experience, but it's one heck of a pleasant experience. The whole saw makes sense and works well.

The riving knife is great, and the blade guard makes complete sense. It takes about 15 minutes of practice to be able to whip the guards on and off, but once you're really got it it's astoundingly easy. It is also VERY easy to work with this saw with all the guards in place, and that's important.

A shopvac easily plugs into the back of the saw, and it does reduce dust significantly. You're still getting out the broom and dust plan, though.

It takes a bit of muscle to get this across a lawn and into a pickup truck, but it's not that bad. The stand is not wobbly at all once it's up and ready to work.

One problem I had was the fence would chatter as I tried to slide it back and forth. Quite annoying for a $700 saw. I smeared some paste wax on the rails, though, and the problem totally disappeared. I can now slide the fence back and forth with one finger, and it glides--almost--like a puck across an air hockey table. Cool.

I bought this back in February 2008, and I also purchased the outfeed extension, an excellent accessory (as is the left side extension). The long rails on the outfeed extension banged the digital box, but a call to Bosch customer service had them overnighting a new, shorter set of rails to me. Wow. That's customer service.

If you have a wife how demands to put a car in the garage ("It's my workshop, honey! Why do you keep calling it a garage?") or a need to take a saw around to different places or if you want to do your cutting in the driveway so you can clean up the sawdust with a leaf blower (and with MDF, this is a great way to do it), this saw is the cat's pajamas. I love it.

I bought this saw for myself. I am a woman in my 60's with a passion for laying laminate floors. This saw is easy to assemble, and comfortable to use because the table easily elevates to the perfect height for you. I did my kitchen and dining room floors with it in one 3 day period and thanked my lucky stars for it.

The price online was really a bargain for a Bosch. It far outstrips everything I saw online or up close and personal at the local home improvement stores.

Almost better than its simple setup and movablity is being able to fold it up and store it compactly. My sons are getting in line to use it next and no problem - easy to tranport.

This is my first worksite saw and it's simply great. I'm installing hardwood floors, baseboards, steps, and trim and this saw does everything. The fence is true and the adjustable height blade ensures that there will be minimum tear-outs. In fact, I haven't gotten any yet! The best feature has to be the gravity-rise stand. Talk about ingenious. A single twist of the lever and it'll fold/unfold with ease. What sold me on this saw was a review conducted by a master cabinet maker who put this saw through the same paces as he would his expensive cabinet saw...guess what...it performed admirably. I'm picky about my work and wanted a good saw that I can tote around from job to job. This is the one. I'm proud to say that I own one of these and have recommended it to several of my friends. Buy this and you won't be disappointed.

My main review of this saw is on the 4100-09 saw page rather than here. I only give this one 2 stars because you can save $100 on the price of this saw by buying the 4100-09 and the Digital Scale separately on Amazon.

Don't know why Amazon is charging $802 for this unit as it sits... but the Digital unit for the 4100-09 is only $102 on top of the $599 price of the 4100 and it is EXACTLY the same unit that is on the 4100DG-09 shown here for over $800. That's a savings of nearly $100.00.

It takes about 10-minutes to install the Digital unit on the 4100-09, turning it into this unit. Easy!

Don't waste your money. Go with separates and save!

UPDATE: Amazon has now changed their pricing structure on this item and the review above no longer is valid. Good on 'ya Amazon for valuing this item as it SHOULD be! Cheers!

Got mine yesterday (Sept 21, 2009), uncrated it and put it together (including gravity rise stand) with no problem. Instructions were easy to follow and illustrations clear. All measurements were dead on including miter slot to blade, 90 degree and 45 degree stops, and fence to blade. Also bought the two support extensions which installed easily. The only problem I encountered was the fence to blade zero with the pointer. I couldn't move the pointer far enough to zero it out with the fence against the blade. I will call Bosch about this but it doesn't appear that any additional adjustment is possible. It's out about 1/16th inch and I suppose I'll get used to it but for the money it should be dead on. The digital fence window is hard to read through but not impossible. I give the saw a fat 4 on a 1-5 scale because of the problems noted above but would buy it again in a heartbeat. - Table Saw - Bosch - Portable Table Saw - Portable Saw'

I think the concept of this toy is really fun, and my kids certainly enjoy it although you need to be prepared to search around for scattered pieces if you don't have a restricted area for shooting the birds. I find shooting toward a rug or on a table with a tablecloth keeps them from ricocheting all over the room.

First, the good stuff:

PROS: The rules are simple, easy to explain to younger children, and you don't have to know how to read to figure things out, so that's also great for little ones.

The birds, pigs, catapult, and the structure pieces all seem pretty sturdy. Plus my five year old likes to just play with the game pieces as action figures. We only got this game because he wanted some plastic Angry Birds to play with and this was the only thing we found that fit the bill.

The game builds coordination and (hopefully) a little patience in the best case scenario. But that leads me to the cons...

CONS: This is more a downfall for folks like me who can't stand tedious projects :) but I get a little frustrated trying to build the structures shown on the level cards sometimes. They are supposed to be grouped according to difficulty, but some of the Level 1( ie: allegedly easier) structures are just as difficult as the Level 2 and 3 ones. There are some I think might be impossible to build at all based on the law of gravity, although my husband disagrees and says with enough balance they're all possible.

I'm kind of a fumble-prone mom and I spent more time knocking down half-built structures with my clumsy hands than with birds at first. If you have a child who doesn't have much tolerance for slow, meticulous projects then he/she might be annoyed trying to build the structures.

As far as the actual shooting the birds part of the game, that takes some getting used to and is actually a lot harder than on the Iphone app. in my opinion. That said, it is doable. My five year old and eight year old are fans of the game and have already played with it a lot. One tip: make sure you keep up with all the pieces because losing even one or two of the logs or blocks will seriously hamper your ability to complete the structures on the cards. Angry Birds: Knock On Wood Game

My 4 year old is obsessed with Angry Birds. I didn't like the idea of him spending so much time playing a video game, so this was the perfect alternative. And it's something we can do together as a family. So much fun!

My six year old son is obsessed with this game. He first started playing on my husband's Droid. I ordered this as a birthday present (it's in November) but ended up giving it to him early. Shipping was fast - received within 3 days of ordering. I got it today and immediately gave it to him and his younger (5 yr old) sister to play with. Set up was easy - within a few minutes - and they have been playing with it ever since. This one is a keeper!

We got the game and I immediately set it up with my 15 year old grandson (he indulges Gramma) soon his mother was playing too. We laughed and talked about how much fun we were having -- soon my son (44) joined and 16 year old granddaughter played too. I have taken it to work and lunch time has become Angry Bird Haven ....This is the BEST investment in fun I have made in a LOOOOONG time!!

OK, OK..

It is angry birds In real life game. The only thing it is missing is sound effects!!

This was a birthday gift for my 4 year old.. YEAH YEAH the box says 5 and up, but he sure is enjoying the game A LOT!

TO be honest we haven't sat down and played through a round according to the rules, but we don't have to to enjoy this set!

The blocks are plastic, but a very sturdy plastic with fund wood grain detail!

The birds are a great size, CUTE and look amazing! the pigs are well designed to sit on their blocks and not roll around.

I have read through the rules and am sure it will a fun game to play. The instructions are definitely easy to follow.

I know my kids will enjoy just playing freely, or trying to build what the cards show.

It can be a bit tough building some of the set-ups, you will accidentally bump things over, no biggie, comes with the concept of the game IMO and only adds to the play time.

The catapult can really get some air with it and launch those birds! That is the biggest challenge, figuring out where to start your catapult and how hard to let it fly!

PS the Catapult and one bird made a cute addition to an Angry birds Birthday cake I tried to "build"!

I bought this for my 4 year old son who loves playing Angry Birds and he absolutely loves making "real" Angry Birds games to knock down. He laughs and laughs when the birds go flying across the room to "get those piggies!" Definitely a great game for kids and adults alike.

I Love , love , love Angry Birds Anything!!! My 5 yr old daughter & I played with it for hours. I was sooo excited when I saw that there was even a real game. I have Angry Birds on my cell phone as well as my laptop. Now I have a tangible game that I can put my hands on too. It takes some getting use to but I love the challenge of it. Next, I'm going to buy all of the plush birds and piggies too...I don't think that the guys at Rovio knew that it would be such a success. Thanx to all, now I've gotta get back to my game...

Kids of all ages (especially the adults) can enjoy the Angry Birds building blocks game and create their own tower of pig heaven for other like-minded Angry Birds fans to topple. Cheap entertainment for all!

We play various games several times a week (everything from scrabble to battlemasters). I bought this game as a surprise gift for my better half who plays the cellphone version even in bed at 3am.

This is a neat little gift. It's great for small parties and game nights with small children (4yrs+ recommended because of small parts). It's not something that us regular serious gamers will keep in rotation through the week but we'll pull it out once in awhile for some mindless fun! Although, I'm tempted to keep one fort assembled and have us take turns to see who does the dishes each week. Or maybe bring to work for some lunchtime rounds with coworkers.

The pigs, "logs", and extra point thingies are hard plastic with the birds being rubbery (think pet toys) and you only need a place to set them up (away from anything valuable is wise). The cards are easy to read and there are a few difficulty levels to choose from. It may seem like it's messy once things get knocked down but we didn't drop any parts off our little breakfast table. After about 30 mins and five rounds, we were ready to move on to something else.

Overall, it's a good buy.'

winches - winches

I am very happy with my s5000 superwinch. I used it to drag a old car onto my trailer that hasn't moved since 1984. Using a snatch block, I dragged the car with 3 flat tires with only the front tires turning. The only problem I had was the cable wanted to roll up on one side. The long control cable made it easy to walk around and do what needed to be done because I loaded it by myself. Superwinch 1450200 S5000 Series Master Winch

Purchased this winch for my tilt trailer to pull non-operational vehicles up onto the trailer. This is a very nice setup. I made a quick release attachment so I could remove it from the trailer when not in use. I also purchased the remote and the battery cable hookup that attaches to my pickup battery. This was a great setup. Thank you

take away the fancy covers and you're left with a flimsey piece of junk that could be bought anywhere else for under $100 . I used mine less than 20 times to load a car onto a trailer and it simply pulled itself apart . threads in fairlead mounting bolt holes stripped out and flange on spool cracked and broke . structural integrity is shot so now gears are skipping .

After I first installed the winch it didn't operate under load. The trouble shooting guide pointed me to look for loose connections. After I checked all the connections I had made the unit still did not work. I then removed the cover and found that NONE of the internal connections had been tightened. After I tightened the connections the unit has operated without problem. - Winches'
