Dvd Player Carrying Case - portable dvd case, sony dvd player

This case worked out perfect. I used it on a 10 hour road trip. It held my 9in Sony dvd player perfectly no wigging at all. I hung it over the back of the drivers seat instead of between the front seats where the console is. It even has an inside pocket behind where the dvd player sits that holds any extra stuff. I put my wires and remote for the dvd player in the pocket. Case Logic PDVK-9 7 to 9-Inch In Car Portable DVD Player Case (Black)

I bought this case to use with my Brand new Sony DVP-FX950 and it fits perfectly.

I could store the Portable DVD Player, cables and remote control, everything that I need to keep organized and travel with.

Great quality.

I purchased this case for a nine inch Philips portable DVD player. The fit is very good with enough room on the side to plug-in the AC adapter. I suspect with a 10 inch DVD player, the fit would be tight. Installation was easy. There was one reviewer who commented that too many straps were required. I find this to be untrue. The number of straps is appropriate for stability and using the straps was extremely easy. The case has a separate compartment with plenty of room for additional AC adapters, DVDs, remote control, manuals, unused straps. Since security is a concern for some people and you may not wish to leave your DVD player in the vehicle unnecessarily, this carrying case is very convenient because you simply need to release the Velcro belt loop from the main horizontal strap, unsnap the two straps at the bottom, and your DVD player and case will be free in a matter of seconds. I would highly recommend this carrying case and if I ever need to get another DVD player, I would definitely purchase this item again.

Bought this to go with SOny 9 inch DVD player (950). Easy to mount in car. Could use a bit more storage space for extra DVD's but accommodates straps and cables with ease. DVD player fits good, the only problem is plugging in the AC Adaptor. But i managed to plug it in while mounted in the car, with a little tweaking.

I like the quality that I received for the money but the straps are kind of complicated and messy. They should have a better system not only for the car but in general to use it like outdoors. But overall you can protect your DVD player and somehow display it inside the bag.

I love this carrier. It is very easy to use. I like to take our dvd player down when I am nervous it could attract someone to break in our car. WIth this carrier is so easy to take off and hide it under my seat. It hold the player securely and stores a few dvds behind it. - Sony Dvd Player - Dvd Player Carrying Case - Portable Dvd Case'

1080p Lcd Hdtv - lcd hdtv

Very nice TV. Great picture quality, and even better sound. I usually don't expect much from built in speakers, but I have to say the ones on the RCA are impressive. I mounted the TV to the wall, and connected my HD box, and have no complaints. Sports, particularly hockey look and sound great! I would definitely recommend this TV to anyone looking for good value at an affordable price. RCA 46LA45RQ 46" 1080p Full HD LCD TV

I really feel like I got a great deal for my dollar. Right out of the box, it was very easy to set it up. My roommate and I put the whole thing together without really having to read the manuel (we glanced at it to make sure we were doing everything right, and we were, it was all very intuitive).

The picture quality is great, not overblown like the TVs in the store are (they're trying to showcase how bright everything is, but the color balance is actually way off).

The sound is pretty good, not the best. The way our living room is set up, we don't have the TV against a wall; there is open space behind the TV. I think that's why the sound isn't very good because there is no wall to deflect the sound toward the audience. But, if I just turn up the TV just a little, I can hear everything fine. One thing I learned is not to mess too much with the pre-installed sound settings. I tried this and then the speakers would get all fuzzy when there was a lot of bass in the audio... like the speakers would rattle inside the set or something.

All I gotta do is find a good set of external speakers to shoot the sound forward instead of out the back, and I'll be set!

I would recommend this TV for anyone. It's a great deal and a great size TV for the living room.

I've had this TV for a week now in my living room and have been impressed. I have a 46" Sharp LCD that I can compare this to (which cost a lot more), and this RCA stands up pretty well next to it. Picture quality is really good, sound is clear, menus are easy to use, remote is quite nice, and I've yet to find any problems. I was able to setup my Tivo remote to control this TV without any issue.

Not to get off topic, but I'd previously purchased a TCL 40" from Amazon and sent it back due to the horrible sound, no universal remote seeming to work with it, and annoyance with the on screen menu. This RCA has none of the problems the TCL had. That could be why I'm extra happy with this TV. Granted, it's only been a week... but I wanted to set some minds at ease that are considering this TV.

the price of this tv seemed to good to be true, and a few negative reviews made me a little worried, but then keep in mind there are those who have extremely high expectations OR have no clue how to use technology and blame the quality of the product rather than blame their ignorance or laziness how to figure something out.

this tv is not even hard to figure out. the menu is very easy or you can just press the 'picture', 'aspect', or 'sound' button on the remote to your preference. also, when it comes to HD quality, you also need to go into the display settings of your device (cable receiver box, game consoles, internet media boxes, dvd & blu ray). this is no different than other tvs.

so far i've connected my uverse dvr, roku box, ps3 and they all work well! i did notice the quality sucked before i changed the display settings to match the tv on the roku & ps3. i am in love with my new tv. this is my 1st TV this big. my 3rd tv i've bought and my best choice.

i've found the tv to be real loud when you turn it up all the way, so i'm not sure why you'd need it that loud anyway or why anyone would think it wasn't loud enough. if you need that much sound, than you just need to get speaker system set up.

only reason i see someone wouldn't this is just for better specs like a 120hz, LED, or usb for media... but i am not the type where those make a difference to me or use these features. i already have a roku box, so i don't need an internet ready TV. if i want to watch my media on it, i could connect my laptop via PC input.

anyways, get this tv, i don't see how anyone could hate or regret it. i'm assuming RCA took a hint about people not liking the red bar on this. i saw it before i bought it. it didn't even bother me, but my TV did not come with the red bar. either way it does not make a difference to me!

I purchased this television to replace an ailing Samsung plasma that I'd had for about 10 years. The picture is bright and crisp, as expected from an LCD, but of course the blacks are not as deep as my old plasma TV. Still, the picture quality is solid, and it's about 10 pounds lighter than my previous 42 inch. I like the positioning of the inputs: you don't have to crush your cables when wall-mounting the TV anymore (which is what eventually killed my old Samsung).

The speakers are mediocre. They're a bit tinny, and when the EQ is set to amplify the lower frequencies the low end sounds very hollow. When using the audio outs, though, and running it through home theater speakers, it sounds great. My old Samsung had a little delay when using the audio outs that I'd attributed to my 20 year old receiver, and it turns out that it was the Samsung's fault. I'm very pleased with the RCA now that it's integrated into my home theater system, and use the TV speakers as a center speaker in the home theater setup.

Hard to beat this TV for the price.

UPDATE: ...And after 9 days of use, 1/2 of the LCD panel died. Amazon would have accepted the return, but I tossed the original packaging. Crap. Called RCA and they're sending a tech to my house to fix it in a couple of days. I'm disappointed, but I'll post how the repair service goes.

UPDATE ON WARRANTY SERVICE: Since I'm an idiot, I just assumed Amazon wouldn't send out a replacement TV without me sending the return first. Of course they'll send a replacement out as long as you return the other TV within 30 days, so I'm using the packaging from that TV to send back the defective one. Tech support guy did come out (provided by A&E Factory Service for RCA) and determined it was either a power supply problem or a defective panel. Ordering new parts would take a week, so I'm returning the TV to Amazon instead. Interesting thing that the Tech pointed out to me: the panel and the power supply were manufactured by Samsung. TV set was assembled in China, of course.

Dropped my rating by a star because of this quality issue, but I have to say I'm pleased with Amazon's service and at least the promptness of the warranty service. - Lcd Hdtv'

Wireless Printer - multifunction printer, epson

I own this printer, i bought it from the manufacturer's site directly since it wasn't available at amazon at the time i wanted it.

This printer is awesome in every imaginable way you can think of. And it can help you save a lot of money of you really want the all in one capabilty. Read on and i'll explain how an why.

First things first, the printer is way smaller than the HP Laserjet 2840 i own too, it's not heavy at all, and it looks great. The text printing on this Epson truly looks like a laser printer. The color is fantastic to, i even print photos on glossy photo paper and they look amazing. The scanner is fast and very good too. It allows you to scan and print both sides of docs at once, no manual interference needed.

I was looking for a printer that would give me great photo printouts as well as it could be used as a work printer since i do print lots of documents as well. I also wanted to buy a Fujitsu Scansnap 1500 for fast double sided multisize document scanning capabilities, Well this epson gives me all that and much more, and for less than half what the scansnap costs. I use adobe acrobat pro to scan docs to PDF directly from the epson scanner(could not do this with the scansnap) and all that is done wirelessly, i can also fax any document right from my computer just like i print them.

Bottom line, for $200 you're getting a very fast high quality printer scanner fax and both-sides copy machine as well as the card readers and a lot more, the ink seems to last, and this printer comes with the highest capacity cartridges, which seem to yield a lot. So now i solved my scanning, pc faxing and photo printing needs all in one small very good a nice machine. And i saved whatever a photo printer costs, plus the $430 for the scansnap s1500, and i get laser quality text as well as (N) wireless conectivity from my printer. What else could i ask for?

Note: My comparison with the scansnap s1500 are not based on web reviews, i actually bought a scansnap which i later returned since i get the same if not better results with this printer.

Also, i've owned canon photo printers and i still have a huge HP color laserjet 2840. So my comparisons and references are based on actual usage of all equipment mentioned.

My recommendation, buy this one and you'll be very pleased. Epson WorkForce 840 Color Ink Jet Wireless All-in-One with Fax (C11CA97201)

Just purchased this Espson Workforce 840 printer for my wife's new business after looking at tons of them on the web.

The reason that we decided on this one is NOT because it has the cheapest printing costs....it doesn't per page (it appears that Kodak printers may). However, after reading reviews on tons of printers, we decided on the Epson because.

1. The reviews/satisfaction were great.

2. It printed on both sides (We won't buy another printer that won't).

3. It is Mac compatible.

4. The print speed is fast, fast, fast.

5. The print quality is outstanding for my needs (see very bottom of this review for more on this), and my two initial printouts (of my wife's flights) were great.

6. Set up easy was beyond belief. This needs to be highlighted. We are installing this printer upstairs, in my wife's home office (for her long arm quilting business) so that she can print out brochures, etc. right at her computer. We have a total of four printers (two laser Brother HL-2170W...wireless printers, the EPSON and a new Brother). We love all of the other printers BUT the Brothers require you to hook up a USB cable to your router BEFORE you can get a wireless connection. (Don't know about the Brother, haven't hooked it up wirelessly yet). Our router however, is located on top of bookcases in our downstairs library and with the Brother HL-2170w's the ONLY way to hook them up wirelessly is to first hook them up to the wireless router. Only after doing that will they work on a wireless network. This is almost an impossibility, for I don't have 10' long USB cables to do, so I gave up and both of my HL-2170W's 'aren't'. They are simply wired due to the difficulty of setting them up. (Note: again, the HL-2170's are stupendous printers BUT they are black and white only and they don't print on both sides of the page(s) and they are not 'all-in-one' printers however, for lots of pages, single sided, just great workhorses and very, very cheap to run.

My expectations on ease of setting up the new Epson Workforce 840 then was slim to none, especially on a Mac and, even after opening the box the instructions said a USB cable was needed, I groaned. However, after I loaded the software (it didn't auto-show but I got through it via downloading the latest software/drivers from Epson... a very easy process), lo and behold, the new Workforce 840 was recognized instantly on my network, with NO further connection needed. This folks, to me, was like 'Wow! Wow! Wow! As I write this, I am blown away at how easy it was/is to set this printer up.

7. Compared to my old Lexmark, that just died (the reason for the Epson), the 840 is like comparing a Ferrari to a Yugo. Simply no comparison. The screen is just wonderful. It tilts out for easy seeing, it is intuitive, 'knows' what to do/ask so set up and operation was a breeze, so we are happy, happy campers.

8. The most important feature I've saved for last. MY WIFE WILL BE ABLE TO USE THIS PRINTER! For me, this might be the GREATEST thing about the 840, IT IS SO INTUITIVE.

Final thoughts. I am worried about the cost of ink however, our main use for the 840 will be using this for printing ads, brochures, flyers, etc. as well as using it as a fax, copier, etc. I commend EPSON for offering a short video on how their ink is made in a 'clean room' and the extent of how they view their inks for BUSINESS uses and high quality output. Normally, for home use, 99.9% of my printing is black and white, BUT for my wife's new business, 'Quality Counts' for customers to see her brochures so (and I hate to say this) I will probably purchase their replacement cartridges when she needs them.

Summary: The Epson Workforce is simply the BEST printer (so far) that we have ever owned. We could not be happier. If you need a two-sided, very fast printer, that is so, so, SO easy to set up and use, has outstanding ease of use, has two trays (great for envelopes in one, paper in the other) and many other features at a 'home business' affordable price, consider the Epson 840.

P.S. I called EPSON and they advised that there is an android app for wirelessly printing from your smartphone. Its called 'Cypria'. Haven't tried to install it yet but, while searching for wireless apps, etc. there is another app as well called 'Cortado' at [...] You might want to check these out.

P.P.S. In reading a review from PC magazine, their review stated that the 840 had 'average' print quality. However, in another review, I noticed that if you want 'outstanding' print quality, you can't use 'average' paper (which I use by the way). Instead, you must use a 'premium' paper from EPSON or wherever. - All-in-one - Epson - All In One Printer - Multifunction Printer'

Spanking

This book is a must read for any parent or potential parent. This book is well written and well researched. The author gets it right on the mark.

I didn't realize until much later in life the effect that this kind of punishment had on my emotional and psychological well being. And many other people are beginning to discover this in their lives as well. It is unfortunate that many parents believe and are convinced that discipline involving physical pain is healthy and appropriate.

It is time for us to evolve and stop taking the easy way out by simply following uninspired traditional methods. There are truly more positive and effective methods of parenting available. But, it must begin with an open mind, and a willingness to learn better ways. And this book is a valuable resource for those who wish to end this cycle of abuse. It is odd that violence is socially acceptable only when it is done to children, the ones who are the most sensitive and vulnerable. Why Spanking Doesn't Work: Stopping This Bad Habit and Getting the Upper Hand on Effective Discipline

Having been formally trained in child psychology and special education, I was not personally comfortable with the tone and position the author rigidly assumes in this book and was unable to finish reading it.'

Multimedia Player - usb, flash drive

I was looking for a simple & inexpensive player for a family member so they could watch various videos and digital pictures on their TV. This player did the trick. It doesn't play mkv files, but I realized that from the start & was more interested in something cheaper that would simply & mainly play AVI files. For the price of around $30, you can't beat it & it has performed well. I personally have a Western Digital & Seagate media player and they play a lot more formats as well as being able to connect to my home network via an ethernet connection, but they also cost substantially more so its all relative.

This player also doesn't have full HDMI capability (like my Seagate or WDTV have), but my family member doesn't have an HDTV anyway. Rather, they have an old "tube" TV with several RCA inputs so HDMI would be useless for their needs anyway. Again, its all relative as the price reflects its features.

I like the fact that it allows media to be played from either a SD or USB device. This gives it a little more flexibility as SD cards can be gotten for cheap these days as well as easily being able to view digital pictures since a lot of cameras use SD cards.

Another feature I like is the fact that it will resume videos when powered on. This is useful so you don't have to worry about trying to fast forward & figure out the point where you stopped watching.

As mentioned before, it does initially start up in Chinese so you have to do a few key strokes on the remote to get it to switch over to English. It would have been better if it defaulted as English, but this wasn't a deal breaker for me. Its not hard to do & once converted over to english, you are good to go for the rest of its use (unless you totally reset it).

If you are looking for a "simple" non-networkable, non-HDMI capable player that plays limited formats (no MKV) compared to other more expensive players, but for a low price, then this little device will satisfy your needs. Simple & cheap is the motto here and accomplished rather well. Micca MPlay Digital Media Player For USB Drives and SD/SDHC/MMC Flash Cards - Plays MPEG1/2/4, DivX, Xvid, RMVB, AVI, MOV, MP3, MP4 On All TV and HDTV

Having now worked with Jack at Micca, I can say that I am thoroughly impressed with this company. I originally left a bad review, but Jack at Micca swapped out for a new unit at their expense and this one worked very well! I think the problem with the old was just a bad cable. The updated manual can now be downloaded from their website, and that helps a lot.

it does play mp4's i had no problem playing the mp4's i made with nero recode(standard)

for those of you with non english boxes on remote hit "set" then "right arrow" then "ok" this should change to english...this is the 1st thing it says on the online manual.

i think the updated HD version plays more files and bigger resolutions (like 60 bucks) the one by asus even has ethernet port but it's more(99+ bucks)

had this unit about a week and i think it was a good purchase...cheap as a dvd player but it can do so much more. i hooked up a 1tb drive full of mp4's and it works just great. looks really good even on composite connection. i am planning to buy one for each room.

This is a very compact media player that works very well. I carried it to my brothers and to a friends IN MY POCKET to watch a movie and now they are both buying their own.I know I will be saving a lot of money not having to burn my movies on to a DVD. I put them on a Flash drive and watch them off of that. I plan to put all my movies on a portable hard drive and use it. Good Times.

This device is exactly what I needed. The price is definitely the main selling point of any electronic device to me these days, but obviously functionality and quality are close behind. I can't find a device that can really compete with this one, for my needs, without spending $70+. Most of this is just the reasons why I ordered it though.

It deserves 5 stars because it definitely lived up to all of my expectations. It showed up 4 days from ordering it, and worked right from the box. It booted right up in English, but I did have to change the output setting from NTSC Composite to HDTV for it to look good on my tv. After that 15 second setup I plugged in my hard drive, navigated through my folders to see how smooth it was, and then watched a movie. It's as simple as I want it to be, and the video looks GREAT for not even connecting with hdmi. I'm using it on a 46" flatscreen and it looks way better than any DVDs I've played on it, and I can't really afford Blurays anyway.

The one problem I had was with the remote, because it didn't seem to get good range at all. My couch isn't that far from the tv, and I'd have to walk closer to easily use the remote. For the price, I honestly didn't have a problem with that, and I'm usually too lazy to complain or write reviews. I decided I might as well send an email to customer service though when I got an email asking for feedback, and to my surprise I got an email within 5 minutes. They said it's definitely a faulty remote, and they sent me the tracking number for the new one they shipped out later that night.

While I'd definitely consider this a budget media player, that's some 5 star service, and everything else works just as expected. I've only been using it 3 weeks now, and I'm sure they'd be helpful if I had any trouble down the road. I'd definitely recommend this product, and it's the first one I've bothered to review on Amazon. - Flash Drive - Usb - Portable Media Player - Multimedia Player'

Camera Case - neoprene, canon slr

I had a hard time judging the worthiness of this bag without seeing it in person, so I took a chance. First, the quality of the polystyrene and the stitching and the strap are pretty good. Second, the actual way the bag wraps up the camera was never apparent to me no matter how many web sites I looked at. Now I know; the front of the camera stuffs into it up to the back plate, a flap at the bottom-back folds over the back plate and - get this - wraps over the lens and allows the lens to stick through a hole. So it's the lens sticking through this hole that keeps the thing wrapped up. I hope that helps someone else to understand. Third, the bag isn't as convenient as i'd hoped. It seems like it might be a pain to get it unwrapped, shoot, and wrap it back up. It does, however, have a clip to attach the back to your camera strap so that it can just dangle while you shoot, and that's nice.

A problem that I have that isn't their fault - but that you might want to know about anyway - is that the bag is a bit too snug for my Nikon D50. At least it worries me how tight I have to wrap it to get the lens through the hole.

A five-star review would have meant a more convenient bag-shoot-bag process. Zing 501-101 SBK1 Standard SLR Cover (Black)

Zing is a lifesaver. I have a Canon T1i and I normally leave the kit 18-55mm lens on. I didn't like the idea of getting a special bag just for my camera that screams "steal me I'm a camera!" so this the perfect protection for throwing camera in the bottom of my normal pack and not really worrying about it. The case is snug but not tight and is very well made with strong seams and material. Overall a great product.

I purchased this camera cover in 1997 and am just now needing to replace it! I traveled 12 months in Asia, lived in Japan where I took a ton of photos for 2 years, cycle toured 6 months with this case and just now it is starting to show holes along the lens crease at the very front.

Basically, this bag rocks! It molds to your camera, is very fast to take off, is great for dropping your camera or throwing it in a backpack and keeps dust and what ever off the body. I can fit it in a purse as it is not baggy.

I highly recommend purchasing this case!!

I really wanted this cover for my Nikon D5000 since I didn't want to carry a giant camera case around. However, this standard size cover is too small for my camera with the standard kit lens. The lens was about 3.5", the problem is really with the size of the camera body. I would need the large version of this case. Conceptually, I would prefer this cover design over other soft cases but they need to provide more information on camera compatibility for this product.

I just started using the Zing 501-101 SBK1 Standard SLR Cover (Black). Since I purchased my first DSLR I have spent a fortune on different bags, trying to find the right combination of protection, portability and ease of use. None of them has been right in all situations. I think this cover is the answer. First it fits my Olympus Evolt E500 8MP Digital SLR (Body Only) withOlympus 35mm f/3.5 1:1 Macro Zuiko Lens for E Series DSLR attached perfectly. I find it easy to take the camera out for shooting. The cover stays attached to the strap with a convenient hook. The entire package is neat and compact, making it possible to use in any bag or pack as well as making it an excellent choice to simply carry as is.

I haven't tried it on my Olympus Evolt E510 10MP Digital SLR Camera with CCD Shift Image Stabilization (Body Only) but I have no reason to think, given the similarity between the two backs, that there should be any problem

Shipping from Amazon was amazingly fast. And the minimal packaging was environmentally friendly.

I've now ordered another version so that I can use it with Olympus Evolt E510 10MP Digital SLR Camera with CCD Shift Image Stabilization (Body Only) and the Olympus Zuiko 12-60mm f/2.8-4.0 Digital ED SWD Lens for Olympus Digital SLR Cameras.

This case is a very nice, discreet alternative to a traditional bulky camera case. I use it for my Nikon D3000 with the 18-55mm Nikkor lens (the kit lens). The fit is perfect, and I feel that it protects the camera enough that I can just carry it in my normal travel day pack. While I don't own any other lenses, I don't think this case would fit the camera if a (physically) longer lens were attached.

So glad I bought this. It has truly changed the way I carry my camera around. I used to hate lugging my big ol' camera bag everywhere with me, but now that I have the Zing, I can just cover my camera and toss it in my regular bag. It pads and protects my camera so well! I LOVE IT.

After agonizing (an unhealthy amount) over which size to get I finally pulled the trigger on the the standard sizing. Perfect fit. You WANT this to stretch - that's how it's meant to protect the camera... Yes, it takes a bit of getting used to, but there's relatively easy trick that I've found: stand up with the camera hanging from the strap around your neck, insert camera lens first, now use the camera strap as support with lens oriented facing out (perpendicular to you standing). Use one hand to hold the top of the camera and push down around the flash boot (so it's pulling down on your neck strap) while the other hand pulls the flap UP until it's stretched out, then pull it forward and the lens should thread through the loop pretty easily...

The actual product is just what I was looking for - something light to protect the camera from the elements while backpacking. It's not super fast from zing-to-shot, but I think as I get more comfortable I'll just have the camera out and sheath it when I need to scramble or dust is kicking up, etc...

Also, I found snapsport.com to be VERY useful in comparing camera dimensions of what would(n't) fit. - Camera Bag - Photography - Neoprene - Canon Slr'

Neckstrap - neckstrap, strap

Ok, I had the Black Rapid RS4 and returned for this after I found it here. A sling strap is much better then a regular strap over a long day and you don't look like a tourist.

Differences:

+the built quality of the BR RS4 is much thicker in the padding and the strap width then this guy.

+the attachment here is unique, but the lock would probably scratch the bottom of your camera over time. I fixed this problem by buying Black Rapid FastenR-3 Third Generation for R-Strap and taking out the default fastener here.

+the strap on this one is not as long as Black Rapid, but long enough for me.

+Less bulk on the strap and padding makes it easier to storage in my Kata KT D-3N1-20 Sling/Backpack (Black) with my camera.

+Price, price, why Black rapid charges as much as a camera bag is highway robbery.

I sling strap is one of the best design for a DSLR users in a while. At this price, its became very affordable even with the BlackRapid Fastener I got with it. I got mine from cowboystudio here. RainbowImaging Innovative High Quality Quick Release Oxford Neck Strap For Canon, Nikon, Olympus. Sony, Pentax, Panasonic , Fujifilm Digital Cameras

This is a good inexpensive knock off of the BlackRapid RS-4/RS-5/RS-7 straps.

Those are pricy at upwards of $50.

It works just like the BlackRapid straps.

It does not look as well made. The strap padding is okay for the price.

However, it does not have the "sticky" rubber / rubber feet on the bottom side to keep it tight in position. It has a soft cloth bottom which keeps it in position most of the time.

The other noticeable difference is the connector to the camera. The Black Rapid strap has a threaded connector. This one is a spring-loaded snap. But it works just fine.

The zippered pocket is ok, just a fancy feature.

Great for the price.

The delivery took a couple of weeks but that was made clear right from the start and it did arrive at the predicted time.

I got an automated email from the vendor with a link to videos/instructions for the strap but there were only videos/instructions for other products, not for the strap.

Lets just cut to it; this product works as advertised but is certainly nothing fancy. In fact the "build" quality is less than what I had hoped for. If you are the type of person that really has a taste for better quality accessories, then spend your money on the Black Rapids sling. It can be purchased here at Amazon and is eligible for Prime shipping rates. The "build" quality of that unit would have to be an improvement over the RainbowImaging unit. After all, it sells for more than three times the price. If you are like me and don't have deep pockets, but do have a need for a better solution for carrying your camera, go ahead and give the RainbowImaging unit a try.

I was going to wrap up my little review but just wanted to stress again that the quality of this strap is very low. In fact, I can't afford to replace my camera or any of my lenses for that matter so I'm very apprehensive about using this strap. Consider the quality of the strap that came packaged with your camera. This is on par (perhaps even lower) with respects to material and overall finish. If you purchase one of these, I strongly suggest that you do as I plan on doing; limit the weight of the gear you attach to it (smaller lenses, no battery grip) and tread somewhat lightly...

The title of this review says it all; however, I will add that Rainbow seems to have changed the tripod mount connector from the one in the image to one that closely resembles the Black Rapid FastenR 3rd Gen tripod mount. I consider this a good thing, and one more reason to buy this product versus the Black Rapid or Luma Loop products, which seem great, but are out of control on price for an item that amounts to 5 bucks worth of assorted off-the-shelf components. I actually ordered the FastenR along with this product, thinking that I would use it instead of the camera mount depicted in the product photo. Well, now I don't need it! In fact, this one is better that the FastenR because it has a "pass through" threading that means you don't have to remove it for tripod use! Nice! Also, I didn't realize before ordering this product that it does, in fact, come equipped with a "stopper" designed to keep the strap in position, just like the expensive Black Rapid one, and the pad also has a built in zipper pocket with a special holder for memory cards. Smaller DSLR batteries could also fit in there, and certainly extra AAs for a flash. I guess the title didn't actually say it all.

Get the product on here and spend the $40 you save on an extra battery or memory card. Or just pocket the difference.

I belong to the cult of people who is not a great fan of Canon strap (yeah, touristy!!!). I also read in a photography book about the benefits of using a sling type strap. I was slightly speculative before ordering this strap, as I looked at more expensive Black rapid camera strap first. But after reading other reviews, I thought I'll give this a shot as this is comparatively inexpensive and I could afford a wrong decision at this price :)

Today I received this strap and to say the least, its very good. The strap quality is not bad at all and it took less than a minute for me to connect this to my camera (I have a tripod base connected to my camera always and I am able to connect the tripod base to the strap now). I have a Canon 7D and this strap fits like a charm! I feel very comfortable too. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a sling-type strap.

I was a little hesitant to purchase this since there weren't many reviews. I am very glad I did. It is easy to attach and unhook. It is also very convienent to have the camera hanging at your side inside of on your chest (much easier to use). I recently used this on a cruise, having it on me one day for about 4 hours and really like how it distributed the weight. - Canon - Neckstrap - Strap - Nikon'

Iphone External Battery - iphone backup battery, itouch battery

Has changed my entire iPhone life. Instead of dead at 2PM, it is plug in this little guy(can't weigh more than a couple of ounces) and it is full usage until I am done for the night. Will probably buy another for those long flights I sometimes take. Stitchway UltraPower 1900 mAh (BLACK) Backup Battery Charger for iPhone 4,4G, 3GS, 3G ,iPod, iTouch-EXTERNAL, PORTABLE, RECHARGEABLE

Since I do so many things that eat my battery power (graphics games, gps navigation etc.), it's a good idea to have a back-up when I'm out and don't have access to a plug-in charger. This item will completely recharge my iPhone 4. My wife and I both have one.

Compact, inexpensive, take with you (throw it in your carry-on) kind of power.

I bought this for the numerous times I'm out and about, not near a charger.

Turns out, this works pretty well! Bottom line, you'll get to 40% iPhone battery charge in 1 hour and 80% in 2 hours.

I did a few tests myself: first, drained my iphone 4 to zero. Next, I attached the Stitchway UltraPower 1900, fully charged, onto my iPhone 4. Using a stopwatch, I recorded the following:

15 mins = 11% iPhone charge

20 mins = 14%

31 mins = 22%

48 mins = 33%

59 mins = 40%

70 mins = 48%

95 mins = 65%

119 mins = 79%

125 mins = 79%

151 mins = 79%

I stopped timing after 151 minutes.

I suspect it takes much longer to get the remaining 20% of battery charge.

Enjoy!

1. Very light weight

2. Small

3. High quality feeling(not cheap materials used)

4. Shake it to see the quality how well it was made. It looks pretty strong.

For the price. It is pretty good. Those of you whose batteries won't charge anymore, you guys got the bad ones.

Mine works really perfectly. I bought two.

I did a little test

Real outlet charge time vs. this back up charge time speed

The back up charging time was a little bit slower but not bad at all

iphone 4 with outlet charger went from 13% -> 28%

iphone 4 with back up charger went from 13% -> 23%

not bad at all. just keep this in ur car

dont' buy an expensive one. why waste your money? seriously

let's save some moeny.

since last year I've spent almost 1800 dollars on amazon.

I want to share good reviews to people so that they will know what good stuff they should buy and the seller should get the money because they made pretty good products.

Im writing this review for the people and the seller who made this.

Bought two of this for my son and daughter who are always running out of batteries in either their iPhones or iPods. Both say its good, but it doesn't fit when they have the otter-shell in the iPhone, so they have to remove the shell to use it. It would be great if it came with an extension adapter that made it possible to connect it to the iPhone when it has a cover.

This is excellent! I just got it today and I decided to test it so I plugged it into my iPhone, and about an hour later it was fully charged! I am now charging the Battery for later use on the long ride home. I have both an iPod touch 2g and an iPhone 4g. It works great for both! I am completely satisfied.

I love being able to toss this in my bag and not worry about my phone dying at work when I'm unable to plug it in. Also when i went camping it was great since I charged it and the phone, which left menwith a nice backup. My daughter has used in on a long trip to recharge her iPod and it saved my sanity.

I just did a test today, I intetionally left my iphone4 run until only 3% battery life left, and then plug in this item which has been fully charged. In about 2.5 hours, this product ran out the power, and I check my iphone 4, it has been charged to 89%. Thus, this portable charger gives you roughtly 86% of your iphone 4 battery life. It cost me less than $8, thus I consider it as a good buy. BTW, this portable charger is about the half size of your iphone4.

I have been searching for a good, portable, reliable and compact charger for my iPhone 4. I use my iPhone a lot and there have been times I was away from a power source and needed some battery juice. This is common in my vacations and I was very pleased with my results. So far I have tried it once, and tried plugging this charger in two other iPhones to see if the dreaded "This device is not compatible with phone," or the likes of it, to come up and it never did. The phones recognized the charger with out a single glitch; the other two iPhones were a second iPhone 4 and a 3Gs. My test charge was from 37% battery to 89% after the charge on my iPhone. This was from a fully charged charger(4 lights), and after this charge of 52% to my iPhone it left the charger with two (2) lights. This means that it still had 50% of more battery left.

I will continue testing this charger, but so far the first result speaks for itself. I have purchased other chargers for my iPhone, surprisingly at double or triple the cost of this one, only to find myself very disappointed and left with a product that is unreliable and with no way of returning it to recuperate the money I wasted on them. Also, one last note, I bought it from the Amazon seller BestDealUSA at a whopping total cost of $7.47 ($6.97 charger + $0.50 shipping). I have bought a second charger from this seller and I recommend this product to anyone, like myself, who has the need of additional portable power for the iPhone when you are out and about.

Update as of 8/01/11: I have purchased three more for gifts from this vendor. I have used my charger at least once a week and I can charge it and leave it alone for over one month with out having to charge it again. I am a highly satisfied user and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap, small and reliable charger for an iPhone. - External Battery Packs - Iphone 3g Battery Pack - Itouch Battery - Iphone Backup Battery'

Cell Phone - unlocked, basic

I was looking for a flip-phone that had good call and sound quality and would be easy to text with. This phone is perfect for both, without any extra features or apps (which I didn't want to spend money on to begin with).

I have owned and used this phone for about a week now, with T-mobile.

It's speaker volume and clarity as well as when you hold it up to ear are both excellent. This is a great simple phone if you are looking for basic functions only. It's nicely sized, not too bulky to fit in a small pocket, and is very light. Connected to my bluetooth ear-piece easily, and worked well. The only thing is the phone is made of plastic which makes me want to get a rubberized cover for it in case it falls or gets scratched. Over all I am very pleased with this phone! Samsung T139 Unlocked Phone with Camera, Bluetooth and Speakerphone - Unlocked Phone - US Warranty - Gray

Everyone in our family has these and we use them with T mobile prepaid. They are good phones for the price, loud sound, can use bluetooth and big buttons for dialing.

However, you will NOT be able to get the photos off of it with a cable or Bluetooth. You have to send them to your email, which costs minutes on prepaid. The ability to do so is disabled on the Tmobile prepaid version of this phone. The guys at the store do not know this, and sold me a cable. After speaking to Tmobile when struggling to download photos I was told this was true.

Ordered the Samsung T139 because of the low price, it was unlocked, I prefer a clamshell, it had Bluetooth and a speakerphone. However, I live in a fringe area and the signal reception was unreliable. The phone showed 0 or 1 bar most of the time. Other than that, it had everything I needed.

Went and purchased another new model Samsung (also G2) from T-Mobile and the signal strength was the same. I returned that new model.

Tried out an LG GD570 and the signal was at least twice as strong and G3. I'm going with the LG and will keep the T139 as a backup as it didn't cost much. However, the LG has a tremendous amount of features that will keep you busy setting things up for days! It also works great with Microsoft Sync except no texting.

Don't have second thoughts about this phone. Buy it is simple, easy, no nonsense, battery lasts for ever. Moderately tough little phone. 40 bucks is a steal for what you would pay from the company retailer

Good phone for those that don't want any frilly extras. It's simple and easy to use.

It has a camera, speaker phone, and can text SMS and picture messages. Large buttons

for those that don't want to squint just to dial a number. This phone is a replacement for

my Mom after her other crappy phone broke. Thus far, it's a great replacement and works just fine.

Just needed a simple to go phone with the basic. So far from day one, it seems like the type of phone i need. Only thing i don't like at the moment is the reception bars. Seems like with a more costly phone i get better reception than i do with this phone, once outside, it's not a problem.

I also was looking for a basic flip phone to go with my prepaid T-mobile service after my Motorola quit working. I use it as an "emergency phone" and this exceeded my expectations [which are also basic]. However, I mail-ordered it for $19.99 from WalMart. Can't imagine anyone paying $49.99 [although that's what T-mobile charges for it as well] for a lightweight plastic phone!

on the website it mentioned in the add that the phone was unlocked but when i received it and sent to india it did not work. the phone wasnt unlocked......other wise the battery life on this phone is amazing.....worth the money - Basic - Samsung - Unlocked - Unlocked Phones'

Home Theater - component shelf, wall mount

I have a wall mounted 50" Panasonic, this baby looks awesome mounted directly below and some of my friends have stated "it looks like it is holding the TV up, kind of like a stand" for the TV.

The lower larger shelf in this kit holds my Onkyo 7.1 receiver (25lbs). The upper smaller shelf holds a DVD player, my DirecTV HD box and a center channel speaker (20lbs). My top components have about an inch to spare on the front of the shelf and my bottom receiver has about 3 inches to spare. All my connections are via HDMI which take an additional 1.5 inches in space when connecting. If you're not using HDMI, you have tons of space on these shelves for your components.

Installation was a snap for a do-it-yourselfer, a Saturday evening job for me. It comes in 3 pieces, (a top piece with top shelf, a middle piece with bottom shelf and a bottom piece- just filler I guess to make it look good) and each piece has its own metal "frame" that mounts to the wall (studs). The glass shelf's then mount to this frame with 4 hex screws. You then place your equipment on the shelves and then snap these wooden back plates over the frames. These plates completely cover any and all connections and cords and there is also plenty of room behind these snap-on plates. Once snapped-on, they do not pop-off easily.

The WAF (wife acceptance factor) at first was a 2.0, as she was concerned about safety for my 4 year old. The WAF has since gone up to an 8.0, as this baby is rock solid if bumped from the sides. My friends say "wow" and "cool" when they first saw it as it looks like my components are floating (I have all silver components) and you cannot see any cables unless you walk up and look behind them.

All in all, it is an expensive purchase when you are comparing it with the rest of the shelf systems, but the craftsmanship, ingenuity and finished looks make up for the price in the end. 4 out of 5 stars, with minis 1 star being the price. OmniMount MWFS Adjustable 2-Shelf Component Wall System with Cable Management

I installed this product right below a 46" LCD tv, with the bottom edge of the TV in line with the top edge od the MWFS unit. I can not imagine anyone (male or female) that would have an objection to this product in a living/family room. It's a great addition.

Installation is fairly easy (I chose "A" set-up). All wires or cables can be hidden inside the unit. I was lucky enough to have the power outlet in the same area where I had to install this unit, so basically all cables are hidden.

Some poeple have complained about shelf space, if you have an audio/video box that's 13" or deeper than you have no choice but to use the larger glass shelf. However most blue-ray players today are in the 8-10" range, and I think they will fit in the smaller shelf without any problems.

My only negative comment is the instruction manual; I found some parts somewhat confusing. However, it's almost impossible to screw-up the installation, even without the manual.

I have never reviewed anything on amazon, but have bought way too many things...

This product is so good, I feel guilty not writing my first reveiw for it. :)

The build quality/appearance of the product is amazing. Especially if you have a black TV/black theme in your room.

I am not a professional installer and most of the time end up putting something on backwards while attempting to follow instructions closely.

I had no problem with this product! Everything is clear, if you just take a minute to read before screweing things in.

Everything fits exactly as it should without having to strain or bend or adjust things during installation.

I wish it was cheaper, but..oh well.

I bought and installed this wall furniture last month and am very happy with it. Installation was a snap and the build quality seems good. I like how it doesn't take up a lot of wall space but still looks good. You can also get a surge protector in the back if you buy the right one. In fact I'd like to see Omnimount make a custom surge protector that mounts to the back area.

The OmniMount 2 shelf wall system is very easy to install and it looks great. It took less than an hour to figure out the instructions and complete the installation, including hiding all the wires in the cable management system. You'll need to purchase a pack of ties to secure the wires, which are not included. A few basic tools are needed to complete the install, but most people already own a screw driver, drill and level. The system is very sturdy and will easily hold three or four components. I have three components so I stacked my cable box on top of my DVD player. The cable box is light and the DVD player is vented in the rear so stacking is not a problem. The wood panels that cover the metal frame are made from plywood covered in an attractive and thick black wood veneer. The fit and finish are excellent. - Home Theater Component Shelf - Wall Mount - Audio Visual Wall Mount - Component Shelf'

As a university Professor, I highly recommend this book. It covers all the fundamentals of Design, from historical background to all interior design mchanics. This is it!

If you are an Interior Design student or professor, you will enjoy reading this book, I highly recommend it. Mr. Pile is an authority in this subject, I have been teaching and reading his books for over 3 decades.

I give high rating, enjoy learning.

Michele Beatriz Interior Design (4th Edition)

John Pile's this book and his other book on color are absolutely the best books I have ever laid my hands on. These books are what every magazine article is about; most books on interiors have about a 1/10 of what is in these two books. REcommended for serious homeowners and professionals.

I purchased this book for my Interior Design Class. There is just a lot of great information . The History of Design, architure, decortive art, mordern history; noted designers, different eras of design, dating back to the 1700's. Just a fablous texbook reference tool.

THIS IS THE MOST THOROUGH RESOURCE I HAVE READ. THE PICTURES ACCOMPANYING THE TEXT ILLUSTRATE THE STYLES AND PRINCIPLES PUT FORTH BY THE AUTHOR. I AM ABLE TO USE THIS BOOK AS A REFERENCE FOR SEVERAL OTHER COURSES.

I bought the 4th edition book for an intro class I'm taking in Decorating and Design. John Pile has provided a well written resource, including great photos, explanations, and very good fundamental information. Overall it is a great go-to book for those seriously interested in the basic anatomy of a great design. - Textbook - Reference'

Shawl Wrap - scarves, pashmina

I ordered three of these. They are clearly advertised as "pristinely woven from the finest pashmina and silk", yet the label says acrylic. They are clearly advertised as Lauren and they are not. I emailed the seller, who replied that they would send a return label. I replied to them immediately saying that as I was going out of town could they please email the label. This was on January 5. I did not have a reply and have now left town so do not know what they have done. This is not only false representation, it is discourteous service and has left me having paid for goods which are not as promised and not knowing what the seller has done until next month.

I would never ever use this seller again and I really object to the fact that Amazon still have the false advertisement on the website. There is no facility for no stars on the review page so I am forced to give it one but it does not deserve even that. Lauren Solid Color Stunning Pashmina (Sky)

The shawl was delivered promptly. The color is lighter than I expected (I ordered sky blue) but is still a pretty color. But the fabric is not what I expected. I am going to do some research to learn how to recognize genuine Pashmina. I ordered an ivory scarf several weeks ago that is 100% Pashmina, and the texture is quite different from the texture of this shawl. The ivory scarf came from India and it is clearly made of wool --it feels scratchy on my neck. This shawl feels suspiciously like rayon to me. It has a label that says 100% Pashmina, which adds to the confusion! (The product description states that the fiber is a blend of Pashmina and silk.) As I said, I am suspicious as to the true origin of the fiber. The plastic bag containing the shawl says "Made in China", which adds to my suspicions. I don't find the shawl hideous, but I feel I just spent fifteen dollars on a cheap imitation, when I was led to believe I was buying the real thing.

I have not received my item purchased for a special event (wedding). I am going to contact the seller and cancel my order. The one star rating above is only being given because this program would not let me delete the star once it was clicked.

i was skeptical when i ordered 8 of these for my bridesmaids. the price was too good to be true, and some of the other reviews made me nervous about the quality. well, the deal was too good, but it was true! the colors were exact to what i saw on screen (i got the sky blue and lipstick red) the feel was fantastic and the shipping was quick and inexpensive. overall, so happy with this product!

pashmina? more like acrylic. I did receive the scar quickly BUT it was not as soft as i expected, specially if its supposed to be pashmina and silk. It came with a tag that looked glued right before shipping. Luckily I could take them off without causing much damage. I think the price is sort of fair for an acrylic scarf but it bothers me muvh that they advertise it as pashmina and silk when it obviously is not. the look nice and have many colors but they should be honest about what they are selling you.

Love it! It's soft so the scarf does not itch your neck and it's big enough to tie it many different ways. Love the "sky" and the "grey" colors. Ordered these for Christmas gift and got little broaches to go with it. Nice, inexpensive gift for the ladies.

I am awaiting a response from the seller because I want a refund. I ordered the "Sky" blue and it looks nothing like pictured. I uploaded 2 pictures to this item up top, so people will actually be able to see what color they will get getting. I wish I would have never ordered it. The fabric is VERY thin(you can see through it) and the overall quality is very poor. Is this Scarf/wrap soft? Yes, very soft. I love the way it feels. If the color had been even some what close to the shimmery blue pictured, I wouldn't be AS upset, since it was less than $10. However, I know a lot of people are snatching these up thinking they are going to be good quality based on the product description and a few positive reviews and not to mention how gorgeous the colors look and plan on giving them as Christmas gifts. I would be soooo embarrassed if I had given this to someone. I can get better quality from Walmart, actually, this scarf is made in china based on the tag, so I might be able to find it there. I'm glad I didn't order more than one like I was going to do at first.I will definitely not be keeping it. Lets see how long it takes for them to respond and send me a return label.

I ordered the sky blue wrap. It was the exact color which is great! It's absolutely gorgeous! For 5 bucks it's an amazing deal. However there are threads that I had to cut off. It's not that big of a deal for the price but I would rather be able to open the package and wear.

Ok, let's be honest here... do you really expect to get a 100% cashmere pashmina for 6 dollars? no. these are acrylic... but i will tell you, they are very soft acrylic, and the quality is actually pretty good... these are the same sort of scarves you will buy on ebay... a lot of specialty boutiques will buy lots of these types of scarves and mark them up tremendously and say they're something they're not... you are getting a good value for what you pay and i was happy with the seller, quickness of shipping, and my product.

I ordered the dark green (almost forest green) pashmina and received a kelly green one (not even shown). I emailed them to ask about it and was assured that they'd immediately send out a dark green one. 2 days later, I now have an olive green one as well.

They are still not the correct color, but I will end up keeping them for travel. Now I just have to figure out how to get the adhesive mark off them... - Pashmina Wrap - Pashmina - Scarves - Shawl'
