THE LAST GUY SHOULD HAVE READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTION!!!!! THE CHARGER IS FOR "M-18" BATTERIES, NOT "V-18". THE ADD SHOULD REALLY BE A LITTLE MORE DESCRIPTIVE, AS V-18 AND M-18 ARE NOT INTERCHANGEABLE. V-18 AND THE OLD NICADS ARE, BUT NOT M-18. We use an M18 Cordless wet/dry vac for field service. We are in and out all day. This charger and an M18 XC battery keeps up and helps us keep moving.

The Milwaukee Lithium Red line up is the best set of cordless power tools I've owned. Comapct and powerful they always perform. The charger has a dead battery up and running in as little as 15 minutes.
It is an original branded charger...very pleased with amazon..every time i buy something it says 5 to 10 days it allways takes them 3 to 5 days, best of it: free w/ super saver. don't know how. I used to be n..egg,ti..direct, etc. even that they sale on amazon too....tx
This charger works for M18 battery's but not the older V18. This is a quite confusing cause the m18 battery's say on the side 18V not M18 or V18 and you can't tell the difference by looking at the connection. I love my v18 tools and I have the newer lithium ion battery's but I guess they will be phased out even though some of my tools are less than 6 months old. Bad move by Milwaukee making the two types incompatible.They will probably loose my future business.
A smart charger, protects your batteries if too hot or cold. Smaller shape would be convenient. The pass through plug is a good feature for a crowded outlet. Open ventilation requires protection for moisture and dirt. 12 volt power converter option is a nice touch, but any converter with enough power will do the job.
