Speedo Goggles - swimming goggles, swim gear

Here is a size chart for anyone thinking of buying these. This chart is directly from the Zoomers box.

Size C = Men 3.5-5; Women 4.5-6

Size D = Men 5.5-7; Women 6.5-8

Size E = Men 7.5-8.5; Women 8.5-9.5

Size F = Men 9-10; Women 10-11

Size G = Men 10.5-11.5; Women 11.5-12.5

Size H = Men 12-13; Women 13-14

I have a 9 1/2 size women's foot and the E fits just fine. So for me they have been true to size and fit to what they list on the side of the box. I hope this helps. FINIS Yellow Zoomers Gold (Size F)

Finis's product description is accurate for this fin. It has harder fin than the Zoomer blue, softer than Zoomer red and softer foot enclosure. It is much easier to put on than my old blue Zoomer. Size wise it is the same as the old zoomer, they tend to run smaller then described. If you have Flintstone feet like me, go one size up. I wear size 9.5E or 10D on shoes, I find size F will crush the top of my feet, size G fits a little long much more comfortable but not too large that it falls off while kicking. I still get little pinch marks on top of my feet but it is comfortable enough I can finish my entire fin set of laps and take them off quickly to switch to paddle, kick board etc.

They are great workout fins, excellent for leg strengthing without developing "chronic fin dependency".

I have been using these for a while now - They feel heavier than conventional flippers which is good for working my leg muscles. I find I get a very aerobic workout doing freestyle with these on, I'm a keen recreational swimmer 3-4 times a week and have to stop for a break after doing about 6 lengths with these (I can normally do 60 lengths without them without stopping).

They also fit will ... I'm a UK shoe size 45 (11.5) and have the F's 9-10 which must be USA sizing.

So in summary .. they make your legs work very hard and because they are short you can kick at your regular pace ... great for strengthening leg muscles and building stamina.

These short fins give my kicks more power and don't stub on the bottom of the shallow pool. I have high insteps, so they took a little breaking in. I used Aquafor on the tops of my feet before putting them on and that helped the most.

Got the fins 2 days ago and was finally test them out. They are perfect for me. I'm a novice swimmer... and needed help in positioning my feet properly also staying afloat when doing backstrokes... These are great... other than the fact they are BRIGHT Yellow they are quite comfortable and don't slip. I have a size 9 to 9-1/2 foot size F works just fine... doesn't slip at all and very comfortable.

PROS:

-Fit... nice not too snug but doesn't slip

-soft rubber... very comfortable

CONS:

-SMELL!!!! wow... as soon as I open the box the smell of factory rubber was quite strong... it wore off after the first swim but WOW!

-YELLOW!... I feel like a DUCK!

Conclusion:

-I highly recommend it. It gives you the quality you need and for a decent price.

Finis Zoomers provide an extra dimension to your swimming routine. A little extra variety makes swimming more fun, and that's a good thing! It takes only a few minutes to get used to the fins. My favorite stroke to use them on is back stroke. It really gives a good workout. I can really feel my muscles working.

I own the blue Zoomer fins, tried out red Zoomer fins in the past, and recently saw a gal with yellow Zoomer at the pool and asked her to let me try them out. The yellow Zoomers have a harder fin than the blue Zoomer fins, but softer than red Zoomer fins. The fit was similar to blue zoomer. Translation: the official chart runs small.

I ordered blue fins, size D. I wear size 7 shoe. Size D was rated up to size 8 for women so I figured they would work ok for me.

I could pull them on with effort, but in the water I was in a lot of pain all over (toes, top of the foot, back of the foot) since the fin + water put additional pressure. I had to return and get the next size E and they are comfortable. They are in no danger of falling off, it takes effort to pull them off by hand.

Note on exchange: Amazon made the exchange easy, but it cost me extra to pay return shipping which was over $6.

Once I exchanged the fin for the next size up, they are very comfortable and don't hurt my feet even after a long work out.
