The Kem-Tek 450 pool test kit contains all the reagents needed for basic pool/spa maintenance. This is not rocket science, and the product does work. But the kit is very poorly made -- the chemicals leaked in the packaging and the caps do not fit tightly on the test vessel, so the (colored) water leaks out when you tip to mix. It also has no box to hold the reagents, vessel and instructions, so you end up tossing everything in a plastic bag. Should have paid a little more to get a decent quality product. Mom tells me she can use it with no problems. She uses it to keep her hotspring spa in balance. It was twenty bucks delievered. She likes the large bottles opposed to the "piss ant sizes from the store".Being she's 60, this would make a good gift for an elder parent.
I followed the instructions to the letter, and found out that I get the same colors all the time and these colors never change. The results just does not mean anything !!!
It is not even worth to return it, gone to the trash.
