Rotary Tool - crafts, dremel

I found this too here on amazon. Looks cheap, but the reviews were good, so i thought i'd give it a shot. Works great for Xbox 360 case cutting, i was able to get into cutting a window for my HDD, and it took some time, but, i did it. Also works for cutting the case. Keep a firm grip, or it will fall out of your hands, it vibrates like CRAZY. Good tool WEN 2303 Mini Rotary Tool Kit

This rotary tool is pretty well underpowered for doing any cutting unless it is balsa wood. I don't like that the plug is a giant transformer and it is pretty cheaply made. The case is a plus, it actually seems pretty durable. The WEN Mini Rotary Tool Kit would probably be pretty nice for crafts, but definitely is no match for a real Dremel tool when trying to cut bolts or grind rust.

good for beginner hobbyist. I use this for building foam plane kits. cutting wheels are not the best but only okay but for the price it still beats the famous name brand. bought two of these - good gift for plane or model builders. lets you get into tiny places (ie put holes or cuts into CA hinges to make them more flexible)

I bought this exact tool in stores, and I found that although the accessories are nice, it doesn't have enough power. I'm not talking about drill your butt off power, I'm just saying things like using a grinder to sharpen a knife, or engraving wood with steady hands. It simply stops if you push too hard. Also, it doesn't allow you to get a good grip if you don't have really small hands. And last but not least, after awhile of using it, if you use the stop button to keep it from running, it can strip. - Rotary Tool - Tools - Dremel - Crafts'
