Yoga Mat - gaiam, towel

I went from using a bath towel to the skidless yoga mat towel and it is awesome! I like hot yoga and obviously there is a lot of sweating, but no slipping at all with this towel. I am very happy that I purchased this towel rather than spending 3x more on a popular brand. The only thing.....I thought the color of the purple towel would be a little lighter, but no big deal...the color of the towel does not affect my workout :) Microfiber Skidless Yoga Towel Yoga Mat 24"x72" with Carry Bag + Gift Box Purple Color

I really like this towel. It is inexpensive but just as effective as a pricer option. It stays put and doesnt move until you are ready to move it. It really absorbs sweat and lets me focus on my practice. It is easy to care for and i just throw it in the washer. I highly recomend it! - Yoga Towel - Gaiam - Towel - Bikram'

Christian Movie - family, christianity

Jason Stevens (Drew Fuller) is a trust fund baby--he's eaten from a silver spoon his entire life. At his grandfather Red's funeral he makes a showy (and late) entrance, perhaps punctuating his low opinion of the man. But from his grave Red (James Garner) has words for his money hungry relatives at the reading of his will. No one gets what they expect, including Jason.

In a closed conference room with only his grandfather's trusted attorney (Bill Cobbs) and secretary (Lee Meriwether) in attendance, Jason is advised by Red via a video recording that he's being given a series of gifts. The catch? He isn't told what the gifts are, only that he's to arrive at the airport and await further instructions. Is this his grandfather's form of a joke, or is Red Stevens trying to reach out and teach him things he never learned from his materialistic family?

Based on a novella by noted motivational speaker and author Jim Stovall, the filmmakers endeavored to preserve the heart of his story while still producing a relevant movie. Says screenwriter Cheryl McKay in an interview conducted by Rene Gutteridge who wrote the novelization of the screenplay, "The biggest challenge was figuring out how to handle all the gifts and not come off with a movie that felt episodic. We had to blend a couple of them together and de-emphasize a couple of them because twelve is a lot to cover in a two-hour movie."

Winner of the Heartland Film Festival's Crystal Heart Award, The Ultimate Gift features an Oscar worthy cast. Drew Fuller (best known for his recurring role as Chris Halliwell in Charmed) pulls off Jason's cockiness and spoiled brat ways, but also believably portrays his transformed self. His facial expressions alone made me laugh out loud a few times. Abigail Breslin (Little Miss Sunshine, Signs) could easily have over played her character Emily, but she doesn't, and she wins our hearts in the process. Ali Hillis (Must Love Dogs) is another notable cast member as Jason's love interest and Emily's mother. No one hits it out of the ball park, but you can still win a game without home runs, and The Ultimate Gift is a winner.

The Ultimate Gift is a predictable film you somehow want to be predictable. Its PG rating allows for a few mild swear words and tense thematic moments, but this is really a movie the whole family can enjoy.

From the vast acres of a Texas ranch to the wilds of a South American jungle, Jason's assumptions about his grandfather, and himself, will never be the same. And even though you'll most likely guess the film's ending, it's the journey that matters. We're taken on an exciting one with Jason as he discovers not only the ultimate gift, but what type of a man he's truly capable of being.

--Reviewed by C.J. Darlington for TitleTrakk The Ultimate Gift

The Ultimate Gift' is a fun and surprising inspirational gem. Not knowing quite what to expect, the movie quickly develops an emotional and entertaining core. Often funny, sad, mysterious, and uplifting in different measures, the film pulls out a unique bag of tricks. Sort of like the `Willy Wonka' of spiritual cinema, `The Ultimate Gift' is more than a "Hallmark" Christian experience.

It all begins after the death of oil tycoon, Red Stevens (James Garner) who has left videotapes for his family. Gathered around the conference table in his lucrative company headquarters, all members wait on pins and needles to see what they will inherit from him. Crassly, the greedy family can't help but commiserate over the lack of possessions he's bequeathed to them. As his custom, Jason (Drew Fuller), his black sheep grandson, comes late to the proceedings, fully expecting nothing, but wanting to make sure nonetheless. What he gets is a treasure hunt. If he performs a series of feats for the edification of his board of trustees, he will win "the ultimate gift". Heading that board is fellow associate Mr. Hamilton (Bill Cobbs), who anchors the whole deal as a living negotiator. If Jason flubs on any one of the "assignments," he loses the gift.

A lot of the proceedings depend a great deal on Red predicting what Jason will do next during the videotape. It works admirably and there's enough good humor to smooth out the edges of our disbelief. Events are often unpredictable, and the acting ranges from genuine to genuinely good. Particularly noteworthy is Abigail Breslan (Oscar nominated child prodigy from 'Little Miss Sunshine') who gives another fine performance as Emily, a sick girl with a sharp tongue, but a good heart. Reflecting on God and heaven, she sagely says, "He paints every color of a butterfly with His fingers."

The movie also brings the welcome return of Brian Dennehy as Gus, his relative from Texas. Some of the funniest parts are taken from his Southern mansion. One scene where he is rudely awakened by an electric cattle prod left me in stitches. Sometimes the relatives become caricatures, but that's few and far between. At one holiday dinner, an argument ensues and one woman tartly states "Money's just as green from Manhattan." The pace is wonderfully edited with the last portion slightly too languorous in places--even if the film needs to stop and reflect awhile. With these minor objections out of the way, the movie is wonderfully nourishing for the heart and soul.

Some controversy remains for the spiritual nature of the film. Glancing over some reviews, I found some critics becoming defensive for any favorable take on the movie. Christianity is sprinkled throughout. During work "Gotta Serve Somebody" plays from Dylan's Christian era, and a romantic dinner scene "Lord of the Dance" is cleverly piped in with acoustical guitars at a fancy restaurant. At the hospital, Emily frequents the chapel where Jason tells her the Sacred Heart statue shows Jesus' open arms to embrace her. Critics apologetically (or defensively) say that Jesus is only mentioned once in the whole movie. I don't personally think anyone should have to defend a movie for being overtly Christian, Jewish, Muslim, Hindu, or whatever. "Pain is your teacher," says Red to Jason on the videotape before going to the great beyond. This could be said in an Asian movie. 'The Ultimate Gift' is overtly Christian, but inclusive. Another objection may come with the points of wisdom provided at the end. While I enjoyed the elaboration, some may find the lesson condescending--an unnecessary Sunday school highlighter pen review.

With all my lowered expectations, 'The Ultimate Gift' is a surprise. The comedic timing is great, the mystery is fun, and the emotional trek is worthwhile. (Based on a novel by Jim Stovall.) - Inspiring - Family - Family Movie - Christianity'

Unlocked Blackberry Storm - prepaid, unlocked

I purchased this for use in an unlocked iPhone and found that it activated smoothly via the on-line instructions and was preloaded with a few dollars for minutes. This was welcome, because I was then able to test the signal and verify that I could make calls on the T-Mobile network. What's more, as of 11/2010, T-Mobile offers a pay-as-you-go data package for $1.49/24h on their Edge network. With about $20 put into the card on-line, I can travel and use both data and talk minutes without a contract or any recurring payments. Previously, I was using the ATT GoPhone service, but ATT cut out all of their roaming partners, so coverage is abysmal in rural areas.

I'm purchasing a second T-Mobile SIM tonight for my wife.

Beware. Don't buy the other Amazon T-Mobile SIM for "unactivated replacement." This SIM is only for replacing an existing lost SIM and is not for activating new accounts. T-Mobile USA (Tmobile T Mobile) SIM Card and Prepaid Activation Kit

If you're looking for a SIM card to use on your unlocked iPhone 4 you've found it. This has never been activated so you will get a new number once activated. Only takes a couple minutes and you're off and using your iPhone 4 on the T-Mobile network. With the new 24 hour data plan available on T-Mobile you can't go wrong. Plus, it's still the GSM iPhone and not the CDMA iPhone 4 being offered with the Verizon network. This SIM card is exactly what you're looking for to use for your unlocked iPhone 4.

Received the sim card on time. I have a GSM phone from India and this card works with my phone. I was able to activate it online and then load the card with minutes.

I would recommend this sim for someone who wanted an easy to use prepaid card with no contract. It should definitely work on any GSM phone. The coverage for T-mobile is also very good.

Thanks to the seller.

I just want to add (since I didn't find this info from the other reviews) that this kit does include an activation code as well as an unactivated SIM card. The activation code allows you to have a new phone number or transfer an existing tmobile phone number to the SIM card. I used my motorola phone to establish a prepaid plan for my mom who only needs it for emergency use. Put in the SIM card, activated it, got a new number along with 10 extra minutes from the kit. Just don't use the prepaid phone to call to activate the SIM card. Use someone else's phone or a landline to call in to activate. The process took about 10 minutes and now my mom's set with a phone read to use! Super easy to set up! A Tmobile retail store would have charged me $25 to set this up! Freakin rip off compare to this online purchase!

Simple answer to a simple question... all you need is an unlocked cell phone and this sim card in hand. It took me literally less than 15 minutes to get a working phone. Following the given instructions, I was able to activate the sim card on the T-Mobile website, add more value to it (the sim card comes with $3.34 on it for immediate use) and voila! The new phone number was given instantaneously! No need to wait, not even 5 minutes...

One small detail that I couldn't find: when are the minutes expiring? I guess that I will need to see a T-Mobile guy sometime soon...

I do not understand why some folks have a problem with this product. It took a total of about 5 minutes to activate my phone. I went to the T-Mobile website, filled in the information that they asked for, and instantly my phone was activated and ready to use. It did not require any of the prepaid minutes that came with the sim card. I was asked if I wanted to buy more minutes, which I did, and started using my phone immediatley. I have never did anything that was so easy before. I highly recommend this sim card activation kit from T-Mobile.

It's easy to activate.

Few minutes after received it I was talking by my new T-Mobil cell phone line.

There are several prepaid plans for text, data and unlimited calls.

No contract!! Pay month to month via online...

Excellent Product - netbook sleeve, kindle

I was concerned this might not be large enough. I had tried some other brands at a local store and they were tight. This is a loose fit, zips easily even with my "cooler pad" included, and protects my low profile wireless mouse interface. It is very stretchy and could accommodate the charger and the mouse, but it would be a very lumpy, untidy package. Completely meets my requirements. Targus Neoprene Slipskin Peel Netbook Slip Case Designed to Protect up to 10.2-Inch Netbooks TSS11101US (Black with Blue)

The turquoise trim is definitely not my first choice but the price more than makes up for it. The same Targus case in other colors are selling for more than twice the price of this one! What a great deal! The turquoise trim is not bad at all with my all-black netbook. Perhaps it may clash more if you had another color netbook.

This is a nice one-pocket case that fits my Asus 1005HA with room to spare. You can definitely put in the charger without any problem. However, since it's one pocket, I would recommend keeping the charger in a separate plastic bag before putting it next to the netbook to prevent scratching.

This is a perfect case for the 10.2 inch netbook. It is not a tight fit, but a comfortable fit. These cases are made to protect netbooks from scratches, etc. and this one is waterproof as well. The zipper flows nicely and it is light as a feather.

I don't plan on putting the adapter in it and there really isn't much room for it, but you could if you wanted too.... It has a lifetime warranty and you have a choice of colors....There is no handle which suits me fine because I carry it in my backpack or pocketbook.

A must have if you own a netbook and carry it around with you. I love my purchase !!!!

I recently purchased an Acer AspireOne 532h Netbook with 10.1" screen. This looked like a nice little zippered sleeve type case that would protect my netbook without being too bulky. It does that OK. The zipper works smoothly and the case, being neoprene easily stretches to accommodate the bulging battery of the Acer One. I don't feel that the case is too large for the Acer, it seems just about right to me. I suppose it -could- be slightly smaller to fit the Acer very snugly but as far as I'm concerned the tighter the fit, the harder it would be to easily slip the netbook in and out of the case.

What is very objectionable to my nose is the awful smell of the neoprene. I've had other neoprene cases for other devices but this one has such a strong odor that I just can't stand it. I've actually returned this case and will search some more for something else similar.

It also dawned on me that I might like a case that has an external zippered pocket to accommodate the charger and/or a mouse. I'm not docking any points for the lack of a pocket because I knew beforehand that this was a pocketless case. Just sayin'.

I guess if the smell doesn't bother you then this is a viable choice. I actually purchased mine at a Big Box Office Suppply Store for $15 after a 20% discount so the price of under $10 (as I write this) on Amazon is one heck of a good deal, especially if you have an Amazon Prime account (free shipping.)

For me though, the smell killed the deal and I can't award this case any more than 3 stars. Take the smell away and you've got a 5 star case.

I recently purchased a Toshiba NB205 and was on the hunt for a modest neoprene sleeve to sheath my fancy new netbook. One quirk of the NB205 is the protruding battery pack on the back - while it keeps this fantastic machine running for 9 hours per charge, it also poses a challenge when looking for a snug-fitting sleeve. Thankfully, Targus makes this 10.2-inch sleeve and it's a perfect fit. It's only a sleeve - no hidden pockets or exterior accessory storage - but it fits the NB205 like a glove and has additional niceties, like a fabric-protected zipper and sturdy, cushiony piping along the interior edges for extra protection against bumps and scuffs. Highly recommended for every NB205 owner!

This sleeve does what it's supposed to: it protects my netbook from spills, nicks, and dust while it bounces around in my backpack. It's not a replacement for a typical laptop case; it doesn't have any handles, pockets, or additional padding.

The zipper seems decent, and it hasn't broken yet in a few weeks of daily use. I would buy one again for $8.

Whats not to like? Protects my new Dell mini 10 (1012) really well. No extra wiggle room but just the right fit. Material is soft and looks durable and does not scratch the surfaces. Keeps my netbook shiny as new!

Bought this for my 11yr old daughter to go along with her 10.1 Acer netbook on Christmas. For $8 you will not find a better bargain out there. The neoprene is thick enough for minor protection and abrasions but thin enough not to add bulk. It looks better in person also. It's deep black with bright blue trim. Nothing wrong with black/blue in my opinion. - Acer Aspire - Netbook Sleeve - Kindle - Acer Aspire One'

Battery Packs - rechargeable batteries, battery

I enjoy the screwgun and thought that I needed an extra battery incase I had an extended job. This battery is every bit a packed with power as the original battery because it is the original battery thank you! Ryobi 1311146 9.6-Volt Ni-Cd Battery

My original battery died on my Ryobi 9.6V cordless drill. Home Depot goons looked at me like I was an idiot for trying to get a replacement battery for this. Of course they wanted me to buy a complete new drill. I really like my little 9.6V drill, it's just right for most jobs. So it struck me that Amazon has just about everything, why not try to find my battery?! And YEAH, they had it and at a reasonable price, much less than a new drill. It arrived well packed and I'm back in cordless drill heaven. Thanks Amazon! - Rechargeable Batteries - Battery Packs - Battery'

Hot Dipped Galvanized - hot dipped galvanized, wire collated

My second order for this item. Quantity is just right for home use. Other sellers have huge quantities that apply mostly to contractors. First order of this item listed as wire collated, now listed as plastic collated. Second order arrived and they are in fact wire collated, NOT plastic. Will fit Porter Cable 350 coil nailer, which I use. The nails do their intended job with no jamming. The only drawback is the coils tend to be flattened during shipping. With a little re-shaping, they work well.

Usb Stick - patriot, 16gb

I recently purchased the 32 GB Patriot thumb drive and have been very happy with it. I work in video animation and web design and have found the drive to be very fast - even with large size file loads or loads with a large number of files. I've read some other complaints about the load speed of the drive but haven't noticed them myself. Perhaps the people complaining about the load speed weren't using a USB 2.0 port or they were simply being overly scientific about it.

Upon opening the drive from its packaging I inserted it into my USB drive right away and both my Vista machine and my Windows XP machine recognized it immediately. There was no formatting or configuration required. I'm not sure how it would react to a Mac.

My biggest concern with a drive like this is losing the cap. For example, if you put the drive on your keychain and stick it in your pocket the cap will eventually come off of the drive in your pocket, or while you take your keychain out of your pocket, or while the drive hangs from your vehicle's ignition. It's also common, at least for me, to forget where I put the caps. In consideration of a potential future lost cap I emailed the manufacturer's customer service department and asked them for extra caps and I received 2 additional caps about two weeks later free of charge. To me, that's customer service.

Overall the drive seems reasonably rugged. It's encased in rubber so I suspect that's what the manufacturer was going for. I'll modify this post if the drive ever craps out on me but for now I'm very satisfied with it - especially when compared to other thumb drives I've owned. Patriot Xporter XT Boost 16 GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive PEF16GUSB

Bottom line: The Patriot Xporter XT Boost 16 GB is a good USB drive but far below the performance I expected. Its tests average slightly below a Class 8 flash drive or 50X.

I will update my review on the cap status in the future since most rubber caps loosen with age and this one is a pocket gripper. I may epoxy a little leash on it to the body.

Reading so many of these reviews does not help in purchase decisions. Frankly, they drive me nuts. "It was so fast!" "It was so much faster than my old drive!" "Some people are too scientific." "It booted immediately on my Windows... (version)/Mac [computer]." (Please do not take any of these comments as personal attacks on your reviews. I have been hammered in past professional writing to ensure I provide hard, substantive data for any statement I make.)

Can I please have objective data to assist in my purchase decision? The first thing I do is benchmark when I receive a flash drive or flash card. I have returned fakes, counterfeits, and below spec units. Formatting new drives appropriately upon receipt is a smart decision, since it removes any crapware from the manufacturer and any viruses a disgruntled employee could have placed. (Does anyone remember the WordPerfect employee who knew he was going to be fired back around 1990?) Although not a Mac user. I use flash drives for Windows Vista/7 and Linux OS purposes.

Flash "class" is based on write speed. I have included a conversion table toward the end of my review. I am sorry I forgot to specify sequential write testing for my benchmarks. To increase accuracy and reduce extraneous hardware reductions in test results, I do not use USB extension cables and clean format the flash for each test. Here are some hard data for you on the 16 GB Patriot XT Boost I received from Amazon:

I own a few of these, I find I need alot of portable space but I dont want to carry around an ext HDD. The drive is soooooo fast. Before this I owned a corsair voyager 16gb which was just way way too slow, this drive reminds me of my old lexar lightning. Well worth the price.

I bought this to help back up photos on trips. Works great. Relatively fast and was pleased with the transfer speed. I like the rubber housing.

Pros: Fast. Reliable. Small. Lightweight. Rubber housing semi-weather proof and feels fairly durable.

Cons: Only one small complaint. It would be nice if the cap was attached by a small rubber strip to keep the unit together as one piece. Otherwise you have to slide it on the back of the drive or set it aside which is easy to loose if you don't pay atttention. - Thumb Drive - Patriot - Usb Flash Drive - 16gb'

Eligible For Super Saver Shipping - recommended, battery

The difference between this battery and the "regular" 14.4v DeWalt batteries is like night and day. I was always fairly pleased with the performance I got out of my original batteries, but once I picked up one of these I was convinced that the hype is justified. Right out of the box I noticed that this battery is a bit larger and significantly heavier that the regular 14.4's. Once fully charged, I slapped it in my drill/driver and was AMAZED at how much more powerful this battery pack was. I have also been impressed with the run time between charges, but since I have not yet used it to build any decks, etc., I cannot say if the battery truly lasts 25% longer (or 40% or whatever).

I highly recommend this as a quality product that performs amazingly well. DEWALT DC9091 14.4-Volt XRP Battery Pack

This battery is acceptable as a replacement. However one flaw is that the battery is not the same size as the original. It fits the drill fine but does not fit into the carrying case properly. It is a small flaw but other than that it works fine.

As far as batteries go, they came, they charged, they performed flawlessly. The Dewalt XRP batteries are definitely worth the extra expense for longer run-times between charges, a must-have for the professional contractor.

Surprisingly my 14.4 XRP drill came with 2 XR batteries. They gave up their ghost, so I purchased 2 new XRP batteries. The difference is significant. They far outlast my old batteries, even when they were new. Getting these new batteries is a solution to reviving older DeWalt drills.

Battery works hard and long. The new battery design is much better than its predecessor. You can actually get your hand around the battery now to release it. It's true that the new battery will not fit in the old case. Hint: use a utility knife and alter the plastic case so the new battery fits.

The Dewalt DC9091 battery is clearly marked in the upper right hand corner of the paper insert as "-with 25% more run-time than standard 14.4V batteries." Compare this to the 40% more run time advertized. I am disappointed I did not get the remaining 15% capacity. Other than that, the battery is great, It fits my drill, fits my charger, and the combination of drill & battery fits in my case.

you only use a cordless drill from time to time, there's not much need for this battery. But, if you use the cordless circular saw, or perhaps the hammer drill, the extra oomph from the XRP is well worth the extra bucks.

I use my cordless circ saw (AKA cheese saw) extensively. I just love the thing for making a quick cut at the bench, or doing (quite literally} field work. The difference between the XRP and the standard battery is as obvious as rain in the cheese saw. In a drill? They go a bit longer between charges, but the difference is not nearly as striking.

If you're a fan of the cordless circ (cheese) saw, I can't recommend the XRPs highly enough.

Just purchased 2 14.4 Dewalt XRP batteries, the originals where at least 10 years old. But as with any battery they don't last forever. Could not see replacing with an 18 Volt when there was nothing wrong with the drill, a 1/2 hammer model. Charged the first one and could not believe the difference, made it feel like when it was new. Still using the first battery and its been at least 3 weeks since it was first charged. I'm not a contractor just a diyer, but they were still worth the money. If the price goes up anymore though for each battery then I'll look at the DeWalt 18 volt.If these last as long as the first pair, they will out last me.

I did not believe any of these batteries for any drills were very good. I am a contractor and use them quite a bit and usually they hold their charge for maybe half an hour before becoming really sluggish. I was almost ready to buy a new drill, but I'm the type of person who doesn't like to throw something away if it's not completely broken and I can make good use of it so I bought two of these batteries to replace the older types that I had. I bought them based on the reviews on amazon and I want to thank those people who wrote those reviews. They were very accurate and well thought out and that is why I am also taking the time to write this one. One of the reviews said that it was a bit larger than the old battery and hard to fit in the original case the drill came in. This is true. It is slightly(and I mean minimally) larger, but it certainly does fit in the case just fine and this battery HOLDS ITS CHARGE! It fits perfectly into the original charger too so don't think you have to buy another charger too. Just get one or two of these batteries and you'll be very happy. I was a bit surprised at the price at first, but after seeing how this battery performs, I am glad I paid for it instead of just getting another of the original style. Thanks Amazon people!

Cant believe the price is 30 to 40 percent less than Sears or Lowes. At the walk in retail stores for this very same new battery! Works great, fits my 14.4 XR hammer drill fine. Only problem I see with upgrading is that I cannot close the drill case completly. With the XRP's being slighty larger outside diameter than the older batterys. But think i can remove some plastic ribbing of the case with a dremel tool. And it should at least close. - Recommended - Dewalt - Cordless - Battery'

David Carradine - horror comedy, vampire

FINALLY AVAILABLE ON DVD!

You know how it is, you're a Bruce Campbell fan too. You'll watch anything he's ever done just because he's in it and then say, "Well, the movie wasn't all that great, but at least Bruce was good." Yeah, Bruce is always good. He's one of those rare universal constants you're always hearing about--like death and taxes, only more fun. He's so good most of the time that you'll add a star or two to your review just because he was there! But now its happened! I can finally say that not only was Bruce good, but I REALLY LIKED THE MOVIE TOO! Okay, so I'm being silly, but I was so charmed by Anthony Hickox's horror/comedy flick SUNDOWN that I still haven't got my head on straight.

Our story centers around the Harrison family. David (played by Jim Meltzer) is an engineer who has developed a machine that can synthesize blood, Morgan Brittany is his beautiful wife Sarah who has a naughty little secret that just might come out soon, and Gwen and Julie are their two overly precious children. Gwen is a bit weird, likes horror movies, and has dreams which might possibly foretell the future.

When we first encounter the Harrisons they are on their way to a town appropriately called Purgatory for a combination family vacation/business trip. It seems that the synthesizer being installed in Puragtory has developed some serious glitches and David's long time fiend and colleague, Shane, has called David in to help straighten things out.

Enter Bruce Campbell. About 20 minutes into the picture. This isn't a big part, but that doesn't keep Bruce from stealing the movie. He plays a sort of sweet, nerdy, academic type whose car breaks down while he too is looking for Purgatory. When he finally gets there the first person he encounters is Sandy White (played by Deborah Foreman), she's a waitress at the local diner and its obviously love at first sight as far as she's concerned.

There are other characters hanging around the town of Purgatory. For example there's David's old buddy Shane (played by Maxwell Caulfield) who seems to have a rather unhealthy interest in both David's wife and his daughter Gwen. And there's Count Mardulak (David Carradine) who owns everything in the town, likes to sleep in a coffin, and is also the object of Bruce Campbell's obsession. And just on the periphery of all this is the mysterious Ethan Jefferson (John Ireland) who definitely seems to be up to no good.

Did I mention that Bruce's character's name is Robert Van Helsing?

There are a lot of laughs along the way, but at the conclusion of the film the Ultimate Showdown between Good and Evil is one that I've never quite seen before and I appreciated the originality. When you aren't really certain if your hero is gonna have a gunfight or a throwdown or whatever in order to beat the villain, I'd say the writer is doing his job!

I'd recommend this film to anyone who likes to laugh and appreciates something a bit different now and then.

SUNDOWN THE VAMPIRE IN RETREAT

Directed by Anthony Hickox

Prod. by Jefferson Richard

Written by John Burgess and Anthony Hickox From a story by John Burgess

Starring: Jim Meltzer, Morgan Brittany, Bruce Campbell, David Carradine, Maxwell Caulfield, Deborah Foreman, M. Emmet Walsh, John Ireland, JohnHancock,Bert Remsury, Sunshine Parker, Marion Eaton, Dabbs Greer, Erin Courlay, Vanessa Pierson

Make-up: Tony Gardner. Sundown: The Vampire in Retreat

Robert Van Helsing (Bruce Campbell) is an incompetent descendant of Count Dracula, exploring the small town of Purgatory in search of his infamous ancestor. But Purgatory is inhabited by reclusive vampires who prefer to take it easy and lounge around in sunglasses and sun cream - a protection against the sun's deadly rays. There is no sign of the Count.David Harrison (Jim Metzler) is an expert in the production of synthetic blood, hired to assist in a project that will ensure the vampires of Purgatory no longer need to kill for food. He is nevertheless unaware that Purgatory is populated by the undead, thinking his work as part of an official experiment. Things go wrong, though. The equipment suddenly ceases to work and the evil Shane (Maxwell Caulfield), the project's original creator, turns up to investigate. He falls in love with Harrison's beautiful wife and, meanwhile, some of the toothy townspeople decide that the traditional ways of obtaining blood are preferable. A war inevitably breaks out, resulting in vampire against human, vampire against vampire. Good versus evil.SUNDOWN is directed by Anthony Hickox of WAXWORK, WAXWORK 2: LOST IN TIME, and HELLRAISER 3: HELL ON EARTH fame. It is a low budget, off-beat film that is perhaps not to everyone's taste. Somewhere in between comedy and horror, SUNDOWN has nevertheless gained cult status, similar to other films in this subgenre like THE LOST BOYS, FRIGHT NIGHT, INNOCENT BLOOD, TALES FROM THE CRYPT: BORDELLO OF BLOOD, and A RETURN TO SALEM'S LOT.The Cast is well chosen: Maxwell THE SUPERNATURALS Caulfield, Dana TWIN PEAKS Ashbrook, Bruce EVIL DEAD Campbell, and David KUNG FU Carradine, who plays Jozek Mardulak aka Count Dracula. M. Emmet Walsh delivers a hilarious performance as Mort Brisby, an ageing vampire/gas station attendant, but SUNDOWN inevitably belongs to Campbell.Point of interest: Hickox's WAXWORK starred Dana Ashbrook, and his sequel WAXWORK 2: LOST IN TIME starred Caulfield, Campbell, and Carradine.

Well as the description pointed out, the vampires are living a boring and sedentary life while their local brainiacs to to better the artificial blood they live on. Sunscreen 5 Million helps them hang out in the daylight so nobody will be suspicious at a deserted town.

Shame on the character cast here for not mentioning veteran actor John Ireland. Been waiting years for this DVD. - David Carradine - Vampire - Horror Comedy - Black Comedy'

Headphone Splitter - audio splitter, belkin

Have you been with your IPod, or mp3 player, experiencing great music or maybe watching a movie and someone appears and ask you what is that your enjoying so much, and although you want to earbud that someone you can't because there is only a pair of headphone and you don't want to miss it? Well that problem is solved with this simple gadget. You just connect two headphones and you and that someone can experience the same thing simultaneously. It is really inexpensive and it does not harm the quality of the music or whatever is it your using your mp3 player for. So it is highly recommended... Belkin F8V234-WHT-APL Headphone Splitter

I probably would have given this item a 5 star review. It works fine and seems to be built well. But there was a slip of paper inside the package that you wouldn't see until you purchased and opened the item. The paper is a mixture of Chinese and English writing warning of hazardous substances found in this item. In this case, the box for Lead is marked.

Now if I had known this has lead in it, I would have looked for a different item. I doubt that even Amazon is aware. My biggest concern is that a parent bought this item for their child (aren't lots of kids using iPods?) and threw the packaging away at Christmas without looking at it. I kept the paper in case Amazon needs to contact me and take a look at it.

it's stable and when you plug your earphone in it won't come out easily which is good and the sound come from the ipod is really good~~ just prefect !! I can share my music with my friend when ever I want

This audio splitter is great. Not only is it white, which in my opinion looks better, and is more "stylish" compared with the generic Black kind. The connectors are also gold plated, though product specs say it is nickel plated, making the audio loss a minimum. I personally bought 3 of these, which I connected into one audio output from my computer resulting in making my one audio output into 4. These splitters work great, since the two female connectors are separate, it doesn't interfere with how big the audio plug is. (for those 3.5mm plugs that are so fat, you have to squeeze to fit other plugs in) I havn't had any problems with these, no audio loss, sound isnt cracking like other splitters. Personally, from my experience these are cheaper in price, but better in quality. Two thumbs up.

Anyone running Windows 7 can use this splitter to loop a male/male 3.5mm cable back into the computer's microphone jack to record live audio. Also, I've seen the lead warnings and decided to test the splitter with a lead test kit. Both the exposed metal and the white plastic were tested and came up clean. No lead detected. I'll see if I can post some pics under "customer images".

Great product. Buy with confidence.

Product works exactly as expected. I am using three (L/R, C/Sub, Rear L/R) of these to seperate the sound out of my PC between my 5.1 surround sound and my 5.1 surround headphones. The split signal sounds great coming out of either the system or the headphones.

Yes, I drive students. Yes, they are constantly leaning out of their seat to hear an mp3 player through someone else earphones. That had to stop for safety reasons. This little, inexpensive item, saved a lot of write ups.

They now, just borrow one from me, as they get on the bus, and can use their OWN earphones. No more leaning out of the seats. - Cables - Belkin - Audio Splitter - Headphones'

Gps Mapping Software - garmin, gps mapping software

I've been using a Garmin StreetPilot III for 3 years now, for those unfamilar with it, its a all-in-one GPS unit with auto-routing feature and voice prompt. Its a good trusty device, highly rugged and I credit much of my career success in Silicon Valley to it.

What prompted me to start sourcing for another GPS device is due to the airport hassle we experience these days. I work for the Sales department of a security company and that means frequent travel these days. The StreetPilot III is an excellent device but its a little bulky to fit into my notebook bag.

Hence enter the Garmin GPS 10. I got mine for $209 from Digitally Unique, they're slow on shipping but the price was good. Get the Deluxe package and not the receiver only one, the Garmin software and maps are worth the money.

In comparison with the older StreetPilot, advantages are:

1. Small, light and easily fit into your pocket or laptop bag, easier when passing through airport security.

2. Integrated magnetic mount allows for mounting outside the rental car, a good solution in case you rented a car with heatsheild on the windscreen that can block GPS signal.

3. Waterproof, so you can still mount the device outside the car in adverse weather condition.

4. Software provided for both PocketPC and Windows OS (Mac / Linux users are out of luck here). Most business travellers like myself typically carry a PDA and for sure has a notebook. In case your PDA fails, you'll still have GPS capability using your notebook.

5. Enhanced software features includes:

- More customization options

- Cool transparent setting for indicators and prompts

- Elevation indicator, nice feature when travelling

- Easier filter for Waypoints and POI (Points of Interest)

6. Uses standard SD or Compact flash memory cards supported by your PDA instead of the proprietary flash memory cards from Garmin. Get the Viking 512mb SD card available from Amazon here with rebate, goes nicely if your PDA has a SD slot.

7. The GPS 10 turns on automatically if it detects power from the 12v cigarette lighter adaptor.

Disadvantages compared to StreetPilot III:

1. This could be related to my choice of PDA, I'm using a Dell Axim X5 PocketPC 2003. This PDA does not have an integrated Bluetooth so I use a Anycom Bluetooth CF card. Whenever I turn off the PDA and back on again, I need to re-connect the Bluetooth serial connection. Then I have to stop the Garmin nRoute software from searching the serial port, then reconnect again. A bit of a hassle compared to the StreetPilot III where you simply turn it on.

2. Routing algorithm not as good as StreetPilot III. The Pocket PC based routing logic seems to be slightly inferior to the one based on SP III (Palm OS based).

3. Depending on your PDA, the screen could be very difficult to read in the car. The Dell Axim X5 does not do well despite its transreflective LCD. The SP 3 on the other hand is clearly visible under all sorts of condition. Recommend you buy a PDA with a very bright screen.

4. PDA dependent. The SP 3 is a integrated device and is very rugged, sitting in direct sunlight for 2 years before I finally managed to buy a townhouse with a garage last year. The PDA however, is flimsy in comparison. I would not thing the Dell Axim will hold up being in sunlight all the time for 2 years.

5. Mounting a hassle. For a semi permanent mount in a car, you'll have to buy a mount either from Seidio or Arkon. However, those mounts are mainly for the PDA and you'll have to mount the GPS 10 seperately.

Recommendation:

1. If you do not travel by air frequently but is looking for a GPS device for use in your car, go with one of those all-in-one devices such as the older Garmin 2610/2620 or the newer Garmin c320/c330. They're much easier to use and mount, and are easier to see in your car.

2. For frequent travellers by air, get this Garmin GPS 10 and a good PDA. This combo is a lot more portable and works even if you end up renting a car with heatshield on the windscreen. Also, in case the PDA fails, you'll have your notebook to fall back on.

3. If you decide on the Garmin GPS 10, get a PDA that has the fastest possible processor. The latest Intel XScale running at 624Mhz is a good choice. My Axim X5 running 416Mhz though usable, I sometimes felt a faster processor would be nice when I'm planning a trip and markign waypoints on the PDA. Garmin GPS 10 Deluxe with Bluetooth Technology

I am an accountant with average PC skills. If you have a laptop with Bluetooth and another person to serve as navigator, the GPS 10 Deluxe is for you.

Set-up was easy. The n-Route laptop navigation software loaded quickly and easily as did the maps of the US and Canada. (On a laptop, you can load and unlock the maps all in one step.)

The GPS/software kit price is 5% of an installed navigator on new car while the functionality is comparable, and the laptop screen view and sound are excellent. Documentation of the software and GPS is thorough and easy to follow. The magnetic GPS 10 module clings securely to the hood or roof of your car.

Turn on your laptop and connect to the GPS 10 with Bluetooth. Then open the n-Route software and the laptop quickly connects with the GPS. You are ready to go (the software permits you to see how many satellites are being used to fix your position).

Assuming that you have saved your home and destination as "waypoints," you can easily create a route using two waypoints (beginning and end). The software/GPS allows your laptop follow the progress of your vehicle and provides suggested voice and visual directions along the way. Of course, you can chose to go your own way at any point, and the software automatically recalculates your route. At the bottom of the screen you can watch the ever-changing status including your current speed, direction, and time and distance to destination and next maneuver.

The maps have very good route detail and lots of helpful information regarding retail establishments and other points of interest, with an easy way to find them, especially when you are looking for something while traveling (gas, food, etc.).

You may need to change the setting on your firewall to disable the automatic detection of new wireless networks that you will encounter while travelingxx in residential areas, which will distract from your navigating.

Defining a "waypoint" by using a street address may take a little practice and some trial and error. - Garmin - Bluetooth Gps - Bluetooth - Gps Mapping Software'

8gb Sdhc - cell phone memory, 8gb sdhc

I tested the possibility of using my BlackBerry 8310 Curve as my primary mp3 player with an inexpensive Kingston 2GB microSD card. I ran into several issues in the process, but learned how to overcome them.

The Curve limits the file size transfers when they are sent to the phone's storage. This protects the phone from running out of memory. The trick is ensuring you are transferring files to the card instead. If you map drives on your computer, the first available drive is automatically used for the Curve's memory card. At home this is my F drive while at work it is K. If any other device is mapped to that drive, the Curve's memory card will not be recognized.

Additionally, there are settings that may need to be changed to allow music file transfers. Go to "Settings", then "Options" to click on "Media Card." Set "Mass Storage Mode Support" to ON. Also set the "Auto Enable Mass Storage Mode When Connected" to YES or PROMPT.

Initially to save music, I needed to remove the card from my Curve and transfer files directly from my computer. This is where the adapter, which converts the microSD card to full-sized SD card, comes in handy. After removing the Curve's battery, I simply popped the microSD card into the adapter and used my computer's SD drive. Do not format the card in the Curve, as it will only recognize half the storage space. If you must format, do so on your computer instead. Now that I have everything set up properly, this card does the job without worries.

PROS:

Good price

Reliable card

CONS:

None SanDisk® microSDHCTM 8GB Memory Card

When I received this amazingly small 8 GB Micro SDHC card, I could not believe it! It is so tiny! I am using it for my 8 GB Sansa Fuze to extend the capacity to 16 GB and it works great. I put all of my videos on it and there is no trouble at all. When I plug my Sansa Fuze in with the Micro SDHC in it, it shows up as the external memory. You can choose if you want your items on the internal memory or the external memory. I advise you if you have a regular Micro SD card slot not a Micro SDHC slot, this card will not work! If you have a regular Micro SD slot, you can only put in a 2 GB card or less. With a Micro SDHC slot, you can put in any regular or HC Micro SD card. Overall, this card works excellent to expand memory in any Micro SDHC compatible device.

I bought this micro card for my AT&T 8925 Tilt (HTC TYTN) phone and it works perfectly. I took a chance that the phone would support that size and it does (the AT&T specs list the max capicity as 2GB). I recommend also purchasing an adapter so you can use it as an SD card if you have a digital camera that takes that format. It would have been nice to have that as a package deal as opposed to giving the thumb drive adapter - but it's still a deal even with the few extra dollars for the adapter. If you have the Tilt and want plenty of storage space go ahead and buy this card.

I have a Motorola Q9c Smartphone and was looking for a mini SD card with lots of room on it.This Micro SD card is exactly what i was looking for.All i did was purchase the Mini SD card adaptor so i could put this in my Moto Q9c and it works great. My Q9c recognises almost all 8GB!If you are looking for a mini SD card with plenty of room on it get this one.

This card works brilliantly in my LG enV 2 cell phone. It formatted instantly and I was playing music and shooting photos and video immediately. HOWEVER, the only reader that could explore it was the built-in on my new Dell Notebook. Cards over 4GB require a downloadable fix from MS for older machines to read them. Even so, some card readers still aren't able to decipher the 8GB cards. Well worth the fix to have that much music on my LG enV2.

FWIW, the card I received was a class 4 (the good one).

I bought this here at Amazon for the BlackJack 2 and it totally works. It reads as 7782 disk space which is still cool. I was able to put any files (music, video, etc.) and it was fine. I deleted/transferred multiple times and it was fine. It definitely is the size of my pinky finger or less so be very careful that you don't lose it. I too can't wait for the day when there is a 32gb because I heard that may still work for the Blackjack 2.

I have a Blackberry Curve with the beta version of OS 4.5 and I used this 8GB microSD card and I now have a portable "flash stick" with me all the time. I carry my Blackberry everywhere I go and sometimes when I need to copy a large file, and I forget my 2GB flash stick, I can simply just transfer to my 8GB in my Blackberry. Just remember, this will not work in the Blackberry OS 4.2 - you can only go up to 4GB max. Make sure you upgrade!

I purchased this item for use in my new Env Touch as I wanted to really make use of its media capabilities.

Boy did I choose the right card. It requires no formatting nor setup for me to get it to work in my phone. Simply put it in and you're good to go.

For my PC, though, my card reading hardware doesn't exactly support SDHC cards above 4GBs, but my Env Touch basically doubles as a card reader, which works out nicely seeing as it is recognized in Vista easily.

I used Media Player to quickly sync my music from my PC to my Env Touch (with this card plugged into it) and it seamlessly copied over about 4GB of music in around 10 minutes or so.

So if you're looking for a good-sized MicroSD card, I'd definitely recommend this one. Just make sure you have the proper hardware that supports it or you won't be able to make use of this great, cheap MicroSD card! - 8gb Sdhc - 8gb - Micro Sd Card - Cell Phone Memory'

Blackberry 8900 Accessory - blackberry skin, blackberry 8900 accessory

This is the skin for the older Blackberry, it does not fit the new curve. There were no instructions of how to return this item. If someone reads this, please instruct me how to return item for correct one. BlackBerry Skin for BlackBerry 8900 (Black)

This product is thin but does the job. I accidentally dropped my BB 8900 from about 3 feet and it survived. Just gives me peace of mind. Haven't had any other experience with other skins so can't say if others are superior.

Overall great product. Fits perfectly and looks great, hardly adds any bulk. I mostly carry my blackberry in either the front or back pocket of my pants and hardly noticed any difference with the skin on. Ive seen other skins from other brands and the fit and feel doesnt come close. Just add a screen protector and you will have your device protected and looking great.

I was excited when I got my case. But a week after I got it, it started to rip on the left corner. It feels good and seems durable but hasn't lasted too long. For $3 I guess its okay but I'm sure I'll have to purchase a new case in a couple of months. For now I'll have to do with it. - Blackberry Accessories - Blackberry 8900 - Blackberry 8900 Accessory - Blackberry Skin'
