I have my cable modem located in one of my bedrooms that I use as an office, and my XBox 360 is located in my master bedroom. I am not a fan of wireless ethernet due to muliple problems and pricing, so I decided to simply run an ethernet wire through my attic from my router located in my office. It works perfectly, and I haven't noticed any speed issues. The funny thing is that I needed EXACTLY 50 feet to make the wire reach to my other room. Three inches shorter and this wire would have been too short for my needs :P
I bought this to run from our router to the new Roku Box. I bought this based on reviews and price. I refuse to pay the outrageous prices at the local stores. This cable works perfectly and seems to be made of quality materials.
I don't really know the specifics on what kind of Ethernet cable is the best and therefore just went with the least expensive. Alas, I bought the RiteAV (50ft). All I can really say is that it's blue and it hasn't failed me yet. Also, it shipped pretty fast.
This cable is just as good as the cables for which I've spent double (or triple) the price. The packaging is in a simple, unmarked plastic bag, but that means nothing to me - all I care about is quality and this cable is first-rate.

I ran the cable through the attic to a bedroom to replace the wireless connection. I checked the cable before installation to make sure it was functional. Worked great before and after. I wouldn't suggest using this cable in a situation that places strain on the cable or connectors or if there is a need to connect/disconnect frequently. My installation remains connected, so I was willing to go with a low cost (and most likely fragile) cable.
