This item works very well for me. Fit my 22inch AAX. It really does mute the sound drastically. It has a good feel to it. It's great because you can just pull it off without taking off the nut or felt off the cymbal stand.
This one replaced my other mute -the style where you have to take the nut and washer off. The only difference between the two is that this item seems to deaden the bell more than my old one.
