I just got my cover yesterday. I personally like change, so I imagine I'll change out my skin & cover "relatively" frequently so I didn't want to spend very much. Certainly not what some of the Kindle covers cost! Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase...
I adore the color! It does smell like leather, so I guess that means it's real. LOL The color is definitely more of a reddish brown than I expected it to be - but fortunately, that suits me just fine. I wanted a cover that had pockets inside it so that when I travel I can just put my room key inside the cover (I'm constantly losing room keys). There are several inner pockets so I'll be able to carry a credit card with me - if I dare. I really, really like the suedey-interior that the Kindle itself rests on. It's very soft to the touch and it's also visible where the inner binding is (if you can call it that). The straps that hold the Kindle in seem very sturdy (yes, I shook it to be sure). The bottom two straps are leather and the top two are elastic but if you look at the Amazon pictures you'll see that the elastic is partially covered by leather. Very nice touch.
The cover closes by a snap that's magnetic, so I put zero pressure on my Kindle in trying to close the cover. The binding folds back all the way but is not completely parallel to the back of the Kindle - it's a slight angle. The only con I have so far is what to do with the magnetic enclosure piece when I'm reading. It CAN snap onto the front cover when folded back, but so far the leather's stiff enough that it causes the cover to be at a greater angle when folded back (hopefully that makes sense). That might change once the leather's been softened up a bit?

I was very hesitant to buy this case because it had so few reviews (which is why I'm writing one for it) and I didn't know how long the shipping would take. Well, I ordered it on 10/31 and I received it by 11/5 (I was gone that week but it was waiting for me when I got home on the 5th). That was plenty quick enough for me.
As for the case, I've only had it a week, but it's exactly what I wanted. It gives my Kindle the added protection I was looking for and it folds backwards and the magnet holds the case open (so the front and back covers are just about parallel). The color isn't quite as bright as this picture makes it out to be. The perfect shade of purple, in my opinion. The inside, that is not the organizer slots, is almost like a felt material, but it matches the cover just fine.
It doesn't do any fancy tricks or anything, but I can't think of any way it could do it's job any better, so I gave it five stars. If time proves otherwise, I'll update this review.
I would definitely recommend this product.
I love this Kindle cover. It has everything I wanted and was a great price. Based on the other reviews, I purchased a screen saver and shouldn't have to worry about scratches. I purchased the brown and the color is perfect. The leather quality is good and the case is stiff which should help protect my Kindle. The compartments are handy and the clasp is sturdy. This is very well made and perfect for me!
Considering the range of options, and sometimes insane prices for the covers (over $90 for a Cole Haan cover for a $139 device?!) this came as a very pleasant surpise for the low price. The quality of the construction was very good, it holds the Kindle securely, and doesn't increase the overall size by much. Liked the detailing - quality of leather and stitching, pockets, magnetic clasp, leather on the elastic straps - very much. Looks more expensive than it is. If you fold the cover over the back, the clasp can be used to hold it so that neither gets get in the way of reading. Very good value from Bundle Monster as far as I'm concerned.
Rec'd case cover last week. It took about 2 weeks to arrive from the States, which is not too long. I have to say I love everything about it -- it fits my Kindle perfectly, it looks great, I can hold it in one hand with no problem (I only have the use of my right hand, so the Kindle is perfect for me). I love the colour - purple - the texture (it's not slippery), and all the inside pockets are useful. And last but not least, the price was just right. Thank you Amazon.

When I received this item and opened it from the cheap clear plastic bag it came in, it had the worst chemical stench I've ever smelled. I would compare it best to the smell of gasoline. It was so awful I couldn't even use it. The first time I tried, it gave me a runny nose and made my Kindle stink also. I have been letting it "air out" for weeks now and while the stench has dissipated slightly, it hasn't gone away completely. I don't understand how a "genuine leather" item can smell this way (and I do own many other leather items). I emailed the seller weeks ago with absolutely no response back from them. I am extremely disappointed with both seller and product and have just ordered a different cover.
