I really like the tips for practical things that you use everyday. For instance, the tips about food shopping are full of common sense and also show a concern for your good health with the items you buy. The author presents a comprehensive approach to buying a new vehicle...again, this is worth many times the price of the book. He also discusses in detail the pros and cons of some things that have confused me, like buying in bulk or buying refurbished items. The tips on shopping for travel arrangements can save you a boatload (pun intended!) Also, the book has many sites which can lead to great values, discounts, coupons, or places to get more information on smart shopping and bargains.
