I've had this unit for about 3 weeks and everyone who has seen it is in awe....
My daughter has even gone so far as to state that she wants to replace all the tv's
because now they look crappy by comparison....which is true....
About the VIA (Vizio Internet Apps) ...after establishing that you have a link
with your brodband, reset the internet apps to the factory default then they will
update and upgrade as necessary....and as far as the remote mine works great controlling
streaming content....if its slow or clunky its because your imternet connection is too slow.
I really like this TV ...so far the only downside is the sound like all lcd 's, while
acceptable, it needs help.....i got a vizio soundbar and that helps a great deal...i also paired
it with an old polk PSW10 i had and now it sounds great....this is my first soundbar so

Delivered as promised, set up as promised. Quality of this item, Vizio 55", is incredible. This is our 4th Vizio--we hardly even look at another. Never had a problem with any of them. But I digress. This seller was perfect.
This was very easy. I have been looking at TVs for a long time. But this was the best price for a great TV. And it was such an easy process. The called to let me know before they arrived, the TV arrived, and was set up. I would definently by from Amazon again.
The picture quality of the TV is very good. Even with standard signals, it is very crisp without digital processing side effects. The remote, however, is very frustrating. I doubt it was tested very well, and it has the hallmark of electrical engineers working in cubicles not talking to each other. You have to push the buttons over and over to get it to do anything, and when it does, lots of things all at once. It's also weird that the single channel selection is upside down from the direct channel entry buttons, so you're always going in the wrong direction. The Netflix App needs a lot of work too. Sure, it plays movies fine, but combined with the remote it's almost impossible to fast-forward to a spot in a movie. Forget rewinding, the sluggish remote makes this pretty much impossible, either rewinding far too much or too little. I'm going to get a Cable TV box and use this to change channels, then go back to iTunes for movies. I do like the picture though!!! - Led Backlight - Led Tv - Vizio'
