This product does well, what I need. It quickly charges my battery pack, and lasts a long time.
Also the fact it's black finally matches my black controller, so I'm happy.

The extra battery makes this product worth it in itself but I'll write about my other opinions too. For starters, I HATE blister packaging and this product comes neatly in a box. Which is a huge plus. Did I also mention it comes with an extra battery? The charger itself has a small footprint which can easily be hidden behind other things. The main idea for something like this is to prevent you from having to use the dreaded play/charge kit and this is where it delivers. Dead battery? No problem, just swap in a new one and keep on going. Only issue comes around when you have more than one person playing and need more batteries, but those are available as well. It's an authentic Microsoft product so you'll be getting a high quality item while padding Mr. Gates' pockets nicely. The rapid charge function works well and it does manage to charge the battery in about 20 minutes. I usually keep the charger unplugged most of the time because it has quite a bit of vampire draw with nothing plugged in, which is the reason for my 4 star rating.
Overall, this is a good product that's well made and worth your money. I would recommend it any day.
This is an excellent product which charges 2-XBox 360 controller Rechargeable Battery Packs at a time. It comes with 1 battery pack, the charging unit and the power cord. We purchased 1 additional battery pack for our second controller. I love this type of charging unit as it allows the user to install the regular battery packs in the controller to continue play, while the chargeable battery packs are recharging in the Charger. We actually have two of these units for times when all four controllers are in heavy use. I highly recommend this product as being reliable and a good value. The Amazon pricing and service was excellent.
Originally, I had the play and charge kit. Each time I connected the controller to the 360, in order to charge the battery while I continued to play, I noticed that the cooling fan in the power brick would come on and stay on long after the 360 was turned off. I have an older 360 (dated 2007). This happened every time I used the play and charge kit.
So, I ordered this Quick Charge Kit. Very happy with it. Came with another battery so now I have two rechargable batteries. The instructions say it will take 2 hours to charge one battery and 4 hours to charge two batteries. However, I have been able to charge both in about 3 hours or less.
I bought one in white, used, about 3-4 years ago. I bought three battery packs allowing me to keep one in my controller and two in the charger. Never a dead battery in the house when guests come over.
Solid buy for anyone.
Well I was a little bit skeptic about this product at first as I have never been a fan of rechargeable batteries and have thought of them to unreliable and risky. But now its completely different. I used to have to go through packs and packs of batteries a month but now all I have to do is plug it in! And now I don't have to worry about my battery pack breaking or falling apart like the countless others I've bought. I would recommend it to all of my friends.
