i ordered the 2 tenergy 9.6v 4200mah hump back batteries for my rustler then also ordered this charger
it came early,works perfectly,pure brainless and it charges these packs in about three hours,i think...i let 1 pack
charge over night,not on purpose,just foregot.no worries though the charger will not over charge the batteries.

The charger works flawless. Charged my dead 1500mah battery in a little over an hour on the .9amps setting. you can even charge the mini type batteries on the 1.8amp setting for an even faster charge! Yes thats about 1800 mah per hour thats about a 30 min charge. Even charged my brothers Ni-Cd R/C battery within a hour.
We bought this charger as a replacement for another charger that was really overheating out batteries. We run a Traxxis Rustler this charger is a great asset to our fun.
It comes with several adapters so all you have to do is plug and play. Charging seemed quick enough and the batter never once felt warm, or overheated, even when we forgot about it 6 hours later.
Do not hesitate on this purchase.
This Tenergy Smart/Speed charger is a life saver from a 5 hour charge to a 1 hour charge I love it. Also it will stop charging when the battery is full it has a temperature sensor so it will stop if the battery gets to hot. Plus the switch that changes the amperage an hour is extremely useful.

The smart charger however is only good on the .9A. If you use the 1.8A setting it will over heat your battery even before the green light turns on. The 1.8A does give you a quick charge when you need it but I feel the battery dies twice as fast.
