Blackberry Armband - blackberry armband, iphone armband

I spend time both online and in stores trying to find an armband for an iPhone 3GS so I could take it running and make use of the maps and stopwatch when in an unfamiliar city. After reading many reviews, most wouldn't stay in place while running or allowed too much sweat to seep through to the device inside. At first I was concerned that this product was for iPhones "and others" or something of the sort, but the fit is snug and it stayed firmly on my upper arm without sliding for two of my weekly 10k runs. The only downside is that the front plastic doesn't fit completely snugly on the face of the iPhone so if you want to tap the side of the screen you have to get a small slack part of the clear screen out of the way (or take the phone out completely). However, manipulating the 3GS touchscreen through the cover otherwise works well.

Given the quality of all other products I found, I would highly suggest you put this near the top of your list. Tune Belt Sport Armband for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and More (Fits iPhone 3G / 2G / 1G, Blackberry Bold / Curve / Storm, Palm Pre and many more)

This case is comfortable and you can use the touch screen just fine through the thin plastic cover. Fits the Motorola Droid perfectly and you can use the headphone jack on top just fine. I love this case for when I go walking/running using the CardioTrainer app! Definitly would recommend this case to anyone looking for a sports case for the Motorola Droid.

I bought this for my Blackberry Tour, and it is the perfect fit. It isn't too hard to secure, and it's not going anywhere once it's in (be sure to have the opening facing UP when you are running). It seems to form a decent seal and I would even feel confident taking this out in a light drizzle. There's a flap in the corner for headphones so I just turn on Slacker or Pandora and go hit the pavement.

I bought this armband after some heavy Internet research and analysis of other consumer reviews. I am happy with it, my IPhone even fits with its OtterBox case still on so I don't have to go on a mission to remove it every time I want to go for a workout. I do RECOMMEND that you buy the extension band or if not you will be really unhappy since without the extension you will only pull this band up to your forearm. The plastic screen cover allows you to touch the screen pretty well, although it does take a little playing around with. Overall, if you are in the market for an armband for your IPhone I certainly recommend you buy this one plus the extension band. Enjoy and happy workouts!

Two important comments about this armband. First, I use it as a forearm or wrist band. It cannot fit on anyone's bicep, not even a child. Second, the pocket has a loose fit for the iphone & it will slide out of the top. Because I actually like the forearm/wrist band aspect, I handsewed the opening (to narrow it) so that my iphone fit safe & snuggly inside. Might fit better inserting it with a handcase on first.

When I dedicated I wanted to keep my Iphone in a case all the time and stop taking it in and out I had to find a new armband that would hold it in the case. This armband holds my iphone in my switcheasy Capsule Rebel Serpent case just fine. The controls work great, no problem using it at all. One thing I have noticed is that that top does stick out a little more than I would like but that is more on a cosmetic annoyance and not really a problem. The armband holds the Iphone securely so it will not fall out either. Great case over all.

I originally bought this arm band at a local REI for my iPhone 3GS and am planning on buying another to replace the original, which has been lost. Reading thru the reviews here, however, has made me a bit puzzled, mostly at the less than positive reviews. So, as an avid runner (Marathoner and Triathlete) allow me to give this arm band a resounding endorsement.

Complaint from one review: "Jostling movement, ie, running, will cause phone to fall out of bottom of casing." While the "bottom" of the case is nothing more than a slit in which to slide a phone into, I too, was at first concerned about this as well. My remedy: simply up-end the armband on your arm, so that the slit opening is "heads-up" oppose to pointing downwards, allowing for the phone to possibly slide out. While not the most ingenious design feature by the company, it's something that can be quickly fixed just by thinking outside of the box.

Complaint from another review: "The arm band is too small, should be a wrist band." I'm 5'10" and weigh about 170lbs. My bicep is about 17 inches in circumference (give or take, I'm just guessing) and I have no problem with getting the band up on to my upper arm. On skin, the band sits perfectly fine and does not "slide" down the arm while running. Over fabric (say, a long-sleeved UnderArmour jersey for colder-weather running) the band will slide a little bit, but nothing crazy, not enough to make one stop and readjust, maybe just reach over and give a little tug to replace it.

Complaint from another review: "Case is not water-proof/resistant, I sweated out my phone" the company makes no distinction in it's product description that the case is waterproof. I wore my case on a full three and a half hour long marathon on a hot day and only experienced slight condensation on the plastic screen. Then again, I'm not much of a sweater, so your personal results may vary.

In summation, this is probably the best arm band I've owned for my iPhone, going back two or three different styles and manufactures - I've paid more for far worse products. As an athlete and avid runner (40+ miles a week) I stand by this product. I can only think of two drawbacks keeping me from giving this a 5 Star Review: First, manipulation of the touch screen is a little difficult through the plastic screen, but not impossible. Secondly, in order to fit my phone into the case, I have to remove the phone from my Otterbox case, which is inconvenient, but since I don't own a "Fort Knox" Otterbox, is not a huge hassle.

Take it from me, an iPhone 3GS owner and athlete, ... I'd readily pay double what they're asking for on this armband. - Blackberry Armband - Iphone 3g Armband - Running - Iphone Armband'
