I have a NX400 and bought these because I have previously purchased a 68 series in black and they work great! However when I got these 3 colors and I installed them normally as they fit perfectly, but the printer doesn't recognize them! I called Epson @ 800-533-3731 and got a technical support specialist who confirmed that the NX400 will only read the 68 series in black. Just a heads up. I only buy Epson ink for my Epson Workforce 600 printer, as I have for all of the five Epson printers which I have had over the years. I have never had any problems with Epson ink.
But buying directly from Epson is expensive, especially since I live in Alaska and Epson thinks that Alaska is the edge of world and charges outrageous shipping costs to ship to here. The price at Amazon.com is discounted 40% and the shipping is free. Who can beat a deal like that? It is even cheaper than buying locally for me.
I always wish that cartridges lasted longer, but I think it is how the printer companies make their money --not with the sale of the printer, but with all of the ink that you have to buy. I also wish that Epson cartridges were refillable.
I do think that the high capacity cartridges are worth the higher price.
The new high capacity Epson "68" ink is great. It has all the same good qualities of Epson's Dura Brite Ultra ink - smudge, water & fade resistant with the added feature of lasting longer. For just a bit more money your ink cartridge life is extended. I think it was a brilliant move. And Amazon often has the best price around!! The multi packs are a great deal.

Recently ran out of ink on my epson workforce 600 (which btw these cartridges work for, the amazon compatibility option doesn't seem to work right) and decided to pick up refills. These high capacity ink cartridges work great. I print pretty often due to reports etc. that I need to write at home and submit so even after a hundred or so pages I haven't even dented the movement arm on the epson print window. Work great!
Highly recommend these over the regular capcity ink cartridges you'll save $$$!
I have had my Epson multi-task printer/scanner for several years now and it works fine. The catch is that the printer will not work unless you have four ink cartridges in it -- black, plus the three colors you need for full-color printing. The cartridges are outrageously expensive, wherever you buy them, and even if you want to print only in black, the printer requires you to buy and install all four colors before it will work. And the cartridges really don't last so long. So while buying the printer was a good deal, I have over the years spent many times more than that for the cartridges.
These High Capacity cartridges are great! Amazon creates a bit of confusion in that they show my printers and tell me these won't work on the printer I have been using them in...the Epson Workforce 600. So, I almost did not buy them,until I scrolled down and under product description, they list my printer. So, Amazon is screwed up. These cartriges work fine in the Workforce 600.
If you are looking for Epson Ink, without the Epson price or store price, this is for you. Also the extra capacity is much better than the standard capacity tanks that ship with the printer.
